Benders Studio

Fantastic experience: Just finished a wonderful yoga session with Yasmina tonight at Benders studio. Beautiful studio with high tin ceil and exposed brick wall. Yasmina knew how to precisely take me through every pose which left me feeling relaxed and energized. Wonderful class and studio.

Positive experience: I LOVE the classes and atmosphere at this studio. It’s great. But, there have been at least 3 times that I’ve gotten to the studio for class and the studio is closed. No posting on Facebook, no alert, just closed. The most recent was this Saturday. It’s frustrating because I love this studio! But this issue has been ongoing.

Fantastic experience: Love this studio and the energy that it has. They started offering a free (donation based) class on Wednesdays 7-8:30pm. The class is an hour long vinyasa class followed by a 30 minute support group / discussion. The class is taught by a certified yoga instructor that's also a therapist. It's an incredible class!! Give this place a try! You won't regret it. :)

Fantastic experience: new studio downtown Iowa City!! great for drop in classes if you're here visiting (mat rentals available) or for memberships. fantastic instructors who are always excited to help your learn and grow in your practice and answer any questions you have. beautiful space, great retail selections for men, women (maternity options too!).

Fantastic experience: Unique classes. Awesome atmosphere! (And a nice selection of yoga clothing, as well as locally made items)
