Fantastic experience: North Dodge is great. I go mainly for tennis and the access to competitve tennis and to excellent teaching in drills or with Mike and Shonne on individual lessons is outstanding. They have new age group lessons for kids. With a full club membership you can use ALL the workout and pool facilities. For old geezers like me there is even an in house physical therapy group to help heal injuries. One stop health preservation.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite places for so many different reasons! The members and Staff are Extremely genuine, nice, and super considerate! They even go out of their way to teach me Valuable life lessons! Vintage in every positive sense of the word.

Fantastic experience: Before covid-19 this was a great place to work out. It is still a Great place to get a socially distant workout. Workout rooms are set up appropriately. The ventilation is good. The couple of other people working out that I saw at 6 am were wearing masks. Even though the employee was not. However The employee was a long ways away from me. The whole place is also kept sootkess.

Fantastic experience: North Dodge has many areas for working out including a pool however I am not a member and only use their tennis facilities. So I can only comment on that. They have 4 tennis courts that are kept in perfect shape. The staff at the front desk has always been friendly and very helpful-EVERY SINGLE TIME. They have tennis drill classes for different levels that are well thought out and extremely helpful. This is something I am knowledgeable about as I have taken lessons from a few facilities in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. This is by far my favorite for tennis cardio! It is very energetically charged and so inexpensive. I have had 3 different instructors there and they are all patient.

Fantastic experience: We love having a family membership at North Dodge Athletic Club. The new owners have cleaned up this Iowa City classic and made it a wonderful place to workout, play on a rainy day, or join a class. My kids love to swim laps in the pool, play racquetball, and I like the cardio room. The staff is always kind, helpful, and willing to make us our favorite smoothies after a good workout. I always make my kids play king of the hill on the grassy hill before we go home (weather pending) to ensure they get one last burst of exercise.

Positive experience: It’s not a new gym, but it’s super convenient and it’s got everything you could want inside, tennis courts, swimming pool, smoothie bar plus all the usual gym stuff. I bought a day pass since I’m just visiting. Worked out really well for me. Friendly staff

Fantastic experience: Been going there since I was 2, in daycare when my grandmother worked there. They have four (i believe)indoor tennis courts. Racquet balls courts, swimming pool, basketball court/gym, a big weight and exercise room, and multiple yoga rooms. Great facility!

Fantastic experience: Full of friendly people and is super comfortable to workout at. I see more people in their 40s - 60s then I see college kids, which is a bonus in this city.

Fantastic experience: Our local gym is better than ever! Under new ownership and the change is great! Super clean, locker rooms are refreshing in appearance and full of amenities, great website and communication with clients, not to mention everything under one roof-fitness, strength , tennis, pool and did I mention the snack bar?

Positive experience: They are really making lots of improvements and cleaning up the place.
