Sports Academy & Racquet Club

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Sports Academy for about 3 years now and I absolutely love it there. The friendships and bonds I've made with people are great. The staff is simply amazing they are super nice. I will be at this gym for a long time and i recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic experience: This is a view point from another Mike Smith. To be honest, I am not a regular gym goer, but I do not have any complaints. It beats any other gym I have been to, YMCA Toronto, USU Campus Gyms, and another gym in Toronto whose name escapes me at the moment. I love their indoor tennis courts, basketball courts, and racquetball courts. Each time I have been, there were plenty of treadmills, weights, and I love being able to play basketball with my wife in the mornings. Even though I have been there for only a few months, I would recommend the Sports Academy for anyone that wants more than just weights and treadmills in a gym membership.

Fantastic experience: I've grown up in Cache Valley and have spent years and years going here. Hell, I went to the preschool attached to the building. My high school's graduation party was here. Through the years, I've participated in swim lessons, tennis lessons and camps, personal training, working out on my own, among other activities. Through all of this, I've only had the highest opinion of the Sports Academy. The staff are all happy, friendly, encouraging, and helpful. In particular, Patrick Bell and Derrick Harper have been really good guys to train with, both helping me work towards the results I want. On the tennis side of things, the courts are always clean, the coolers full of cold water, and the tennis staff are great too, Lucas being a great teacher. If you're looking for a all purpose gym in Cache Valley, there is no better place.

Fantastic experience: Have had a membership at Sports Academy for 3 years now and never will go anywhere else. You can do anything you'd like here. You can play just about any sport you'd like. The staff is amazingly friendly also, from their personal trainers who are some of the best in the valley to the front desk employees always having a smile on their face. The classes at the Sports Academy are the best in the valley also, you'll never be disappointed in the workout that they give you! Friendly prices for students also which is great. Worth every dollar!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Sports Academy for 2 1/2 years now. I absolutely love it! the relationships and friendships that I have created will continue to be with me forever. Its a great, non-judging place to come and get a workout in. my favorite thing to do here is play raquetball. I have become an addict! courts are always clean and competition is always there. the trainers are excellent and motivate me to be successful. I will continue to come to Sports Academy for as long as I am around.

Fantastic experience: The gym has everything you could ever want in a gym, and then some. The staff are friendly and make you feel like home. The place is downright awesome. Clean, huge and well-maintained. It has a high class feel. It's so different from other gyms. I love talking trash with the spunky old ladies who show up for their early morning swim classes. Well worth the money!

Fantastic experience: I love the Sports Academy! I have worked out here for three years and my experience here has been great. The classes with Jaynee Day have by far been my favorite classes. The teacher is energetic and leaves you sore for days no matter how many times you go to her class. She allows you to go at your own pace and there is enough people in the classes that you don't feel uncomfortable. Also when I have just wanted to go for a run I was extremely pleased that they had more private areas along with the large cardio room. I was able to work out at my own comfort level. Great place to be and great place to join!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful facility, and a great place for anyone looking to improve their quality of life. Everyone will have a different experience, but if taken in stride, and with good attitude, Sports Academy will surely treat you well. While unable to comment on all of their accommodations, as an avid tennis player, their tennis facilities are top notch, tidy, and staffed appropriately; this is rather impressive for a small town. My time has always been well spent at this location, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable health club in the valley.

Fantastic experience: I was a member of Sports Academy for 7 years and then moved to Salt Lake. I have been down there for three years and have not found any where half as good as Sports Academy. SARC has the best group fitness classes and I honestly saw the best results while I worked out there. I miss it, whenever I come back to Logan I always go back to SARC.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been coming to SARC for 2½ years now. In the first year we lost a combined weight of 110 lbs. I know I could not have done it without the help of a personal trainer (Patrick Bell). It has been the best thing in the world for our marriage. We are like a newly wed couple. We are now doing the "Club Fit" classes and we love it, what a fun way to work really hard and stay in shape. We can be found here almost every night. We enjoy sitting in the hot tub, and relaxing after a good workout. Keep up the great work SARC. Thank you for a new lease on life.

Fantastic experience: I switched to the sports academy after 6 years at another local gym. I am not sure what took me so long to make the change because SARC is a huge step up. I've participated in personal training, master swim and various fitness classes and been very pleased with all of them. There is such a large variety of fitness options, there is something everyone will enjoy. You won't find a better gym in the valley.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for 10 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I love the Free group classes like zumba, step, interval training, and step tonic. I also love the boot camp class, the pool, and kids club. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Best facility in Logan!

Fantastic experience: I love the Sports Academy! I have been coming here for five years and the service, quality of equipment and the environment has been excellent! I highly recommend thisclub to anyone seeking to improve their life and reach goals never believed possible. I'm so grateful for the option for child care! I love the high end machines by Freemotion! I love the staff that great you as you enter and bids goodbye as you leave! It's always clean. The members are kind and helpful. My kids love the pool in the summer time! Fantastic experience: The customer service at Sports is absolutely amazing, from the front desk to the personal trainers. I used to be bounce around every year to a different gym just to try them and I am sad to say boy did I waste my time.. Sports is going to be my permanent home!!! Fantastic experience: Our experience has been extremely positive! The private tennis instructor went out of his way to make proactive solutions for lessons within our budget, for my son! He was really helpful!

Positive experience: The experience at Sports Academy doesn’t justify the price. There isn’t enough equipment for the number of people in the gym at most times of the day. A lot of machines are worse for wear, with worn handles, peeled-off weight labels, or broken pin cables. The staff is friendly and any equipment in need of service is repaired quickly, but I don’t plan to renew when my contract expires.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality I lost my wallet this morning. Mackel and Alley toot time to look all over the building for me. They were so warm and friendly during this difficult time. Every time I walk into the Sports Academy to work out every one at the front desk is extremely friendly.

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything I needed. I love to do weights and plyometrics. They have sleds, medicine balls, the Bear Squat machine (only seen like two of these ever at gyms). People are clean and staff is helpful.

Fantastic experience: I reserved a massage service here, 3 hours before I get in, same day. One of the best massage therapy visits I have ever had. Her name is Erin. I needed a deep tissue lower back massage. She had experience, skills, strength, and personality. I will be going back to her over and over again. Wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I love this gym!! They have everything you’d ever need for any workout, and they provide wonderful, extremely affordable, childcare for my baby. They do have the option to do a flat out year long, upfront contract instead of month to month. If you’re the type of person that might forget to cancel your monthly membership, I recommend doing the yearly contract! I can’t say enough good things about the sports academy. Joining this gym and going often has changed my life.

Fantastic experience: I had a fabulous massage from Jenny, just the right pressure, I didn't feel like she was rushing to be done or watching the clock like I have had with some other therapists, it was very relaxing!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Erin for massages! I’m 34 weeks pregnant and she was so sweet, accommodating and gave an incredible massage!

Fantastic experience: My kids are currently taking swim lessons here, and it’s been amazing! They are learning so much, and their instructor, Mark, is so good with them. If your kids need to learn to swim, take them here!

Fantastic experience: Good variety of activities (3 pools, hot tub, racquet ball, tennis, weights, cardio, classes and kids club). Quite a bit nicer than my former gym (Vasa).

Fantastic experience: I am a tennis member so this review is on the tennis facilities and staff. The indoor course are as good as anywhere in Utah. Very nice. The tennis director is an amazing coach. We has seen our son learn so much technique and he has improved dramatically since working with him. Also they have college matches there and you can watch amazing tennis for free!

Fantastic experience: Love it. Great basketball, swimming, work out, tennis you name it they got it. Swimming lessons are great as well. Have 25 yard pool 6 feet deep is the deepest it gets though but other than that it's the best.

Fantastic experience: I love the Sports Academy! I love how I can bring my kids in to the daycare and have them watched after while I work out. It's waaay cheap. Classes have been a lot of fun and I'm getting closer and closer to my goals. If you are thinking of a place to join, go check out the Sports Academy. I would recommend it to anyone!!

Fantastic experience: No complaints about the gym. There are two basketball courts (they only schedule one of them out) and I can play whenever. the club really isn't as busy as people make it seem to be. I haven't had any problems getting on any equipment and I sometimes do two a days in the early morning and 6pm. I wouldn't listen or read in to the complaints. Just bitter people that are looking for a way to get out of their contract. Do yourself a favor. Don't read into my post or anyone's for that matter. Go in and check it out yourself. You will LOVE it!

Fantastic experience: I got an hour massage with Tara Olsen last night, and she is amazing! My back was so tight I could barely turn from side to side and I couldn't bend down to get my shoes on. I woke up this morning feeling 100x better. She is a miracle worker!

Fantastic experience: Nice facility. Locker rooms are clean. Machines are all good quality.
