Fantastic experience: Just wanted to take the time and give props to Sean, Alvin and the entire Highland YMCA staff for being fabulous. Not only do they work fearlessly to keep each basketball season going consistently but, also care about the children and families that attend daily! My son recently misplaced his phone and was absolutely devastated about it. Sean and staff worked with us to help locate the phone. The phone hunt ended successfully thanks to the quick efforts and follow up of staff. I’m grateful and humbled by attention dedicated to resolving the issue! Keep up the great work , you all are doing an awesome job

Fantastic experience: Great programs and facilities. Especially the pool facility.

Positive experience: I used to have a membership many years ago 2012-2014. I liked it back then. I fill like I didn't even use all the membership resources available. I had a great time and barely scratched the surface of what they had to offer. I like the YMCA better than a gym because it is more family oriented and the kids club is in your monthly membership. They even offer financial assistance is you are eligible from 10%-50% off monthly fee. I just went today to get a new membership application as before it was just me and my two kids. Now I am married with 4 kids and I am excited to give the YMCA a 5 stars after I become a member again and get to see how it has update after covid.

Positive experience: Highland YMCA is ok. Most of the employees are helpful and friendly. A few need some lessons in customer service for sure. The gym is small, but gets the job done. Pool is really only for the elderly and super young. It's not big at all and I believe it's only 4 or 5 feet deep. Also their kids center/daycare is super small compared to other locations. The YMCA in Redlands is way better for aquatic classes and their gym is better too. They have basketball and a few other kid activities here that are pretty cool. Overall not my favorite YMCA

Fantastic experience: Why are they charging membership fees while the facility is closed? I don't get it all. My account has been charged but nobody can go in to use their services.

Fantastic experience: I have been to other ymcas and this one is very clean and has so many activities most of the staff are helpful and management was amazing as well definitely a better choice than the San Bernardino one

Fantastic experience: Love that they have programs for my children. Ages 1 to 4. The ballet instructor and the gymnastics instructor are great. I like that it is small. I didnt like that noo e explained the programs to me when i paid. I figured it out myself just would have been nice to know there were other things included in my Y membership then just the gym. Besides that minor detail i would reccomend this Ymca to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Been working out here for a couple of months and have no complaints at all. The membership costs are very affordable and the gym has everything you need to get a good workout. The environment is very calm and relaxed with mostly elderly members and families in the mornings when I work out. The staff are always polite and cordial despite other reviewers complaints that honestly are expecting too much. It's just the Y, you go there to work out and then you leave; it doesn't need to be anymore than that. If you live in the area and are looking for a low cost gym to work out or play a few games of basketball in, I'd recommend this Y.
