Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at the bunker! Classes were intense and the coaches were attentive and motivated. Overall great environment to get a hard workout in.
Fantastic experience: I have been going to John at Bunker for about 6 months now. He has completely helped me change my fitness journey and understanding around nutrition as well as cardio and lifting for results. He pushes you to do more than you would do on your own in the Bunker gym and he also provides you the knowledge you need to continue to stay disciplined outside the Bunker walls. I would recommend John to anyone who is serious about their fitness and truly ready for a change. I was in about a 2 year fitness lull before I met him and he has brought me back to where I want to be - not only losing weight but also feeling strong and proud in the gym! 5 stars!!!

Fantastic experience: I worked with John at the Bunker for several months while visiting the Hartford area. He was as knowledgeable as you'd expect, and he has an excellent eye for form. His coaching was top-notch, catching little mistakes in my movements that could have spelled disaster in a few years! He pushed me far beyond what I could have done on my own, and I didn't mind it at all. My only regret is that I don't have a trainer nearly as competent in my new city.
Fantastic experience: I joined the Bunker in May and have learned so much about strength training from my trainer Jake. He teaches me about the movement and the muscle group we are working on. We’ve tweaked my nutrition to make sure I’m workout ready and that’s helped my performance. I can see changes every week in the weight I can lift and the reps I can do. He’s constantly changing things up to keep me improving and to avoid injury. He makes working out fun.

Fantastic experience: I started as a skeptic. I was hesitant to join a personal training gym, thinking it would be another corporate sellout, but I also needed to get in shape and change my sedentary habits. So, I took a chance and rolled the dice on Bunker Fitness. Rolling the dice proved to be the ultimate win for me, as I didn’t just find a team of personal trainers…I found a team of trainers personally invested in helping me reach my fitness and wellbeing goals. Jake, my trainer, safely pushes me out of my comfort zone to help me reach fitness goals that I haven’t seen and felt in years. Bunker Fitness is a motivating atmosphere and is more like a family than anything else. Bunker Fitness has given me back a inspiration about exercise and fitness the spark that I have been searching for to ignite the positive changes for my future goals.

Fantastic experience: If you're serious about getting fit or even becoming knowledgeable on how to transform your body John at Bunker fitness is awesome. Been going to him for 6 months and between the dedication I have to train with and with his knowledge I've lost 20 pounds and dropped my BMI by 6 percent. With his 1 on 1 training I've gotten significantly stronger, John knows what he is doing and what he is talking about. This is the greatest investment i made into myself.

He knows exactly when and how much to push me, while still being cognizant of my limitations. I went from hating the gym to looking forward to working out with him, and I am already seeing results!! Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the Bunker, and John and Jake make every workout amazing. Jake is incredibly dedicated trainer who works with me on my personal goals, my fitness goals, how to plan my meals, and make sure that fitness fits into my crazy teaching schedule. He's even been very conscious of when we should gain or lose weight so that I fit perfectly into my wedding dress in June. Jake takes the time to know me as a person and works with any fears or concerns that I have. He follows up with me well, gives me tons of motivation, and always keeps me laughing. In addition to the personal training, I really like how the Bunker has a connection with Edibolic Kitchen for meal prep, has a recovery room with compression and other features, and and has supplements right in house so that I don't need to go anywhere else. I also really appreciate that I can trust them to be honest with me about what I need and what I don't. They never waste my money or my time. I could not ask for a better trainer to work with than Jake, and I would suggest that anyone who is looking into fitness (at any level) join the Bunker.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality I have trained with Stephanie for about 2 and a half weeks now and I’m already seeing results. She is very patient and encouraging. I struggled with losing weight and not knowing the right exercises to do, so if you’re looking for help you should definitely make your way to the bunker John is very nice as well.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality I’ve trained at the Bunker with Stephanie Mager since June. She is a great personal trainer and is helping me get stronger every day. The bunker has a great atmosphere and it feels like you’re part of a family working out there.
Fantastic experience: I've been training at The Bunker for almost a year, and I can't say enough good things about it. It's such a welcome change from "big box" gyms — the trainers really care about you and get to know you. There isn't a focus on the number on the scale; it's more about feeling better, being stronger, etc. The Bunker is truly a hidden gem, and I always look forward to my workouts there!

Absolutely the right place to start your fitness journey …I often keep saying there is a difference between real and reel world :) and that’s exactly what you get there !! They are just real and the goals set are realistic….my favorite go to person has always been Jake and everyone in that gym trainer has one goal that’s making clients achieve their goals …..I started my journey few months ago and I see the changes in me real good ….don’t think twice if you want to change your fitness levels ….they just make sure every client is attended to their requirements and for a person like me who hates to go to the gym is now making sure not to miss a day says it all :)
Fantastic experience: The Trainers at The Bunker really know what they’re doing. Jake will personalize a training program and nutrition plan to meet your specific goals that are custom tailored to how your body works, a detail that’s often overlooked in other gyms. Fitness is not one size fits all, and the staff at The Bunker truly get that. Not only are the staff super knowledgeable but it’s clear that they love what they do, which makes it an even more enjoyable experience as a client. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!
Fantastic experience: I love going to Bunker Fitness. John and Jake do a great job of keeping the place clean and healthy. Jake has been my trainer for over a year and I have lost 40 lbs and inches. He knows how to push and make you better when you are at the gym. Jake also puts a plan together for when you are not at the Bunker. Follow the plan and you will be achieving the goals that set.

He has taught me so much about lifting and nutrition and what I need to do to accomplish my goals. I always feel so accomplished when I leave my session. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
