Fantastic experience: Great fitness center. Lots of equipment, squat racks, free weights, universal, treadmills, bikes. They have it all. Large matted gym rooms for situps, meditation, etc, clean, spacious locker rooms, community shower. sauna Check it out.

Positive experience: It's the base gym. It's free and keeps you in shape. I do hate having to badge in everytime I walk through the door, what is this place, the command post? There are plenty of machines, though when they break, it takes forever to fix them. And a lot of gyms are bad with the people using weights putting them back where they belong. But it's a whole other beast here. But in the end, it gets the job done.

Fantastic experience: Huge variety of machines and space. Even when it was super busy I only had to wait a few minutes for a machine. Getting the 24 hour access added is the best kept secret though. Good for folks who are there for a long school and don't have "normal" workout routines at the same time every day.

Fantastic experience: Great gym on base. Always clean. I have no complaints or issues. If you’re someone that’s a total beginner (like any other gym) it may be intimating and there’s nobody working the floor to help you. For someone like me who is totally comfortable in a gym setting, that isn’t a issue for me. This is one of my favorite gyms with a lot to offer for an on base gym. I highly recommend. Even if you don’t live on base, it’s worth commuting to and saving money on monthly gym memberships and annual fees. Just Saying!

Fantastic experience: The availability of 24hr access outside normal duty hours was a great idea. There's generally not to many members in there after the gym closes, which allows for a more focused workout

Fantastic experience: Pretty good gym, newer equipment and pretty good staff. It has xfinity wifi available for music. 1 racquetball court, 1 wallyball court, 1 ironman area, 2 gyms. There is NO indoor track at this gym, however there is a nice outdoor track and the Ft. Dix gym does have an indoor. If you sign your CAC up at the front desk and watch their informational video, you can have 24hr access. Pretty good place to have all around.
