Fantastic experience: We usually just get the pool membership for the summer. The club allows you to put the rest of the membership on hold for only $8 a month per person instead of having to cancel and re-up the following year and pay the initial membership fee.

Fantastic experience: Pricey, but honestly, the amenities make it worth it... if you use them and can go there enough. They have many pools, a big water slide, hot tub, and saunas - all very enjoyable. Staff are good, honest, quality people. I enjoy taking to them and learning from them. The group classes are free with membership and are a great way to fit guided exercise into your schedule. Lastly... if you can afford a personal trainer... they are great and worth it. Becky is amazing, but she is almost always fully loaded. I have nothing bad to say about the trainers and the staff. You will love it here!

Fantastic experience: I come here every other day or more. Best facility in Grand Rapids. Worth the travel. A location downtown and off east Paris in GR. They offer military discounts also so I take advantage of that. Thanks MVP!

Fantastic experience: MVP is a fantastic health club. It has lots of classes, great instructors, and good facilities with multiple locations. Personal trainers are really good. If you like to swim, both the indoor and outdoor pools are great. You can get a lane for lap swim most times. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Members are friendly. I have been a member for over 25 yrs. If you want a good investment in your health and fitness, consider this health club.

Fantastic experience: I love being able to take the kids swimming and to play tennis all year long. And the childcare is great, my kids love coming to play here while I workout and shower, which can be hard to find time for on my own. Also love the workout classes!

Fantastic experience: Great gym to work out in. This MVP has much more equipment and room to work out at rather than the MVP on crahen. Lots to do and even when it is busy you do not feel overwhelmed with people. The staff is always kind and eager to greet you. They also have both outdoor and indoor swimming pools.

Fantastic experience: We take our 5 yo to sw lessons here and his instructor is so amazing!! She is very patient with the kids who have a tough time, she celebrates successes and talks through opportunities. We will definitely continue taking our kids here for swim lessons!!

Fantastic experience: MVP has been the cleanest and one of the friendliest gyms I have been a part of. It is surely not a budget option but you do get what you pay for. With excellent indoor courts, a fully stocked weight room, bikes, classes, basketball courts, and a full amenity locker room, it is one of the last gyms you will sign up for. If you can afford it, it is well worth the money.

Fantastic experience: In addition to the state of art work-out facilities, MVP has MVP Work-Space! A very comfortable environment as an alternative to "working from home" or in a coffee shop. Plenty of flexible seating for quiet conversations or focused, heads-down deliverables. You can work in a recumbent booth, on an exercise ball, in a lounge chair or a traditional table. Hot coffee and tea available all day long! They even have private conferences rooms available for small and large meetings if you need them! It has been a great alternative for me and let's my wife have the house to herself; a major win-win for the work-from-home lifestyle. It should make it easier to sneak in a work-out on lunch hour. That frontier is yet before me and a goal for the coming months. @mvpworkspace

Fantastic experience: MVP Sportsplex offers a really cool area called Office Space by MVP. Since I work from home it's an awesome opportunity to get out of the house, workout then work from the community office. Well worth the $70+ a month.

Fantastic experience: I joined MVP for the pool due to my health conditions and needing the therapy pool. I have to say the aquatics staff is amazing! I have not met a guard that hasn't been helpful and extremely nice. They follow the policies that are put into place to keep all of their member safe. I know that there will be some that will say my 4 year wasn't allowed to even put his/her feet in the hot tub! It is policy and if you took the time to read the sign on the wall then you would see it is not just your child but all children under the age of 12. They staff are committed to keeping all of their members safe and for everyone to have an enjoyable experience! Angela who is in charge of all these guards and pools keeps all of it running and does it in such a professional and amazing manner! She runs a tight ship but it shows in the dedication to make the experience of all the members an amazing experience! She has one of the most professional management styles I have seen! She is a great manager! Given the choice again I would not hesitate to join this gym!

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Good selection of free weights. Good size area for cardio equipment. The Sauna and steam room are great (in the men's locker room). The staff is very attentive and the gym is kept very tidy.
