Club Metro USA Paterson

Negative experience: This gym is convenient for me because I work close to it. Unfortunately, this is the only positive thing. The staff is ok, but the gym is always in disarray. Equipment, phones, bags, drinks are on the floor. It takes me a while to find what I need. Most of the gym members use various equipment at the same time without wanting to share. I had various experiences where a machine is empty for more than 15 minutes, I go to it, only to have a gym member tell me that they are using it. Which is not true because they were using another machine that is across from the gym. Also, various times I seen gym members use 6 sets of barbells and they take their time with them( This also applies to the gym machines). They are on their phone, talking, and go to another exercise, but they don't want to share or get mad at you for asking. I I had various gym members scream at me or start arguing. I don't feel safe anymore. Therefore, I hardly ever get a good workout. The monthly price has gone up, and we pay a 50.00 dollar fee every year to maintain the gym. Honestly, I don't see where that money is going. There have been various machines that have been broken for months and some for years. Also, some that keep constantly breaking. They haven't been fixed or replaced. Also, equipment is worn out and there is not enough for the amount of people that workout on a daily basis. I noticed that they have extra equipment locked in a room where you have to pay extra for it. I'm pretty sure it's a class but why don't they have that equipment on the floor where it's obviously needed. A lot of my co-workers have asked me about the gym, and I can't recommend it. I canceled my subscription this year, because it's not worth the money and hassle you have to go through in order to get a decent workout.

Fantastic experience: I've joined early December and I go 6xs a week. I really love this place and the smoothie bar OMG the best.

Fantastic experience: The gym is nice but why is there only one tv that works, and that tv is at the front desk. The tv's been down for almost a year we pay alot of money and cant even watch sports as we working out..

Fantastic experience: Gym is very clean, workers are extremely nice. 8pm is a nice hour to go! Not very crowded! And mornings are great too! Compared to other gyms, with the amenties and space (parking is included) I think the price is pretty good!

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Recently moved to the area and was worried about local amenities. The facility is clean and well maintained. They have every piece of equipment you could possibly need no matter your workout goals... cross fit, free wights, cardio, classes, everything! They've also got a great shake bar that I highly recommend for your post workout needs.

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout. Fun and friendly environment with cutting edge equipment and little to no wait times even during peak hours. All that and still less expensive than other gyms in the area.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, members are awesome. Everyone is very friendly there. Only critique is that I wish they had more sets of 15-20 lb DB’s. When it gets busy, it’s hard to find them, but that’s with any gym. Otherwise it’s a great gym, I love it there.

Fantastic experience: This gym has always been well kept every time I came in. The tasty shake bar is great for grabbing something delicious and nutritious on your way out. Or you can just pretend your at a healthy gym bar.

Fantastic experience: bathrooms clean, machines clean, It does not stink like other gyms, they don’t have broken machines and if they break they repair them fast, the smoothies are delicious and the staff is friendly especially Kayla, Rosa and Bryan and another person he has braids works in the night (I do not know his name) I love this gym the bad thing that they close early on Saturdays and Sundays and at 4:30 pm they don’t make smoothies (Sundays)

It quickly moved to the awesome energy and knowledge that you get from the trainers here, they are eager to help and will to take time with you. Also they understand what you are striving for and they WILL get you there and further, while having fun. The classes are intense for every level athlete, and you will love the diverse workout combinations. I will definitely be returning for a round two, hope to see you there
