The Alaska Club Fairbanks South

Fantastic experience: The best Gym in Fairbanks. You got towels 24/7, jacuzzi, pool, steam room, sauna, gym, weight rooms and a lot of treadmills. Everyone wipes stuff down and people just mind their business. So this is a real judge free zone. I been going here for 2 years and don’t plan on going to any other gyms. I look forward to the gym everyday especially during the dark winters. Unless you want to be cheap and go to a gym where they don’t have half the stuff of Alaska Club. Not me though.

Fantastic experience: The Alaska Club is the best!! There’s everything One would ever need, and more in a Fittness gym. Great staffing, amazing Personal trainers, and excellent members of all ages. The Steam room, and Sunna is great after a hard workout of weight training or swimming laps in the pool, with plenty of fresh towels to relax with.Membership now allows members access to the facility 24hour a day, a family club!! Alaska Club please continue be amazing!! ❤️

Positive experience: I am truly enjoying the club and the employees. Opening up after the regular hours were a special blessing to me. One important piece of concern and advice is the upkeep of the racquetball courses. 1) they need to be varnish, 2) you need to fix the dead places on the floor. I believe it is well used and needs attention. One way to provide a greater interest in playing racquetball is having regular clinics separated by youth, adults and for women,

Fantastic experience: I swim laps three times a week. The water is warm and the pool is clean. I also relax in the hot tub after a swim and they keep the hot tub clean. The staff are friendly. I also take my kids on Sundays for the open swim and that is a lot of fun. Great place for individuals and families.

Fantastic experience: Love the pool. The schedule is not always as posted on website. The locker room is clean, well stocked, and maintained. Staff are courteous and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Awesome steam room and sauna. Respectful staff and low key vibe. I like to swim and steam room. You can get a hydro massage here. They have a little store from which to buy drinks and emergency swim suits.

Fantastic experience: Lifelong gymrat thats me this is thebonly real gym in town open to all. Even after all the remods and facelifts still has same feel. Even when lot is full still plenty of room to workout, shower and swim. Onlyn detractor is price and location.

Fantastic experience: I just received awesome customer service from this club's manager - Bonnie Brooks. She has always been extremely responsive to suggestions, and just now went out of her way to find an item I'd left at the club. This woman is a gem. I wish I could steal her for my company!!
