Positive experience: I used to be a member of this gym back at it's old location and left for a while because of school. The new gym has a lot more space and the staff are just as great as they were at the old one. I also like that all the parking is in the garage and you can walk right to the gym without having to get wet on rainy days! This is definitely my new go to spot for a nice clean workout and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice non threatening place to workout at!

Positive experience: Cancelled my contract about 4 years ago. Got call tonight to pay $180 or i would be turned in to the credit reporting agencies... No prior phonecalls or letters were sent.... not one. Trust me... it's so EASY to sign up... just month to month! But... then they'll hit you by surprise 4 years later, you'll be dealing with this same issue. UPDATE, the management has refunded the $180, and terminated the collection agency. These guys seem like good people mixed up with a bad vendor.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. I don't like huge gyms, they seem a little impersonal to me. This one has all the free weights, machines, and cardio. It's always open and clean.

Fantastic experience: I have belonged to a few other gyms over the past 10 years, but this one is my favorite. I have been here for two years and the place is always clean and kept neat. The front desk staff is nice and greet me by my first name (extra points in my book) and they make it a point to make you feel comfortable. It has all the equipment I could ever need, and it's open 24/7. I like that it's close to downtown Decatur, and it's really safe - the college's security is literally in the same building and you see them monitoring the parking deck.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Clean, quiet. Friendly staff. Trainers don't hound you like they do at other gyms (looking at you LA Fitness). All around a nice experience.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, it's always clean and I like that I can get my workout in at whatever time I like. It's a little confusing when you first drive up, because the address places you at their parking garage - but go into the parking garage (if the gate is down, just press the call button) and follow the signs to the second floor.

Fantastic experience: Glenn, Chuck and William are first class, friendly and helpful, even to geezers. Joint is clean and well maintained, easy parking.

Fantastic experience: On the smaller side but rarely a wait for machines or stations. Glenn, William, and Chuck are very friendly and have extensive knowledge in health and fitness no matter what your goals are.

Fantastic experience: This is a great little gym. It has the free weights I need to build muscle and is rarely overpacked. It is clean, well air conditioned, and the parking is safe and convenient.

Positive experience: I’ve had my memebership for a month now and I love it HOWEVER there are kids here that have misused the guest policy of course when the workers have gone home. I love this gym I just can’t get a proper workout in without them yelling at each other while they are standing right next to each other.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for 6 months now and have been extremely pleasantly surprised with the experience and results. Snap Decatur is one of those no-frills gyms that manages to be greater than the sum of its parts. It's essentially a large room connected to the Agnes Scott College parking garage, but they have just enough equipment to cover the basics and then some. If you want some highly specialized equipment, you may have to go elsewhere, but they've got an array of cardio equipment, free weights, machines, and floor exercise stuff that will keep most people happily in shape, with a few sought after things - TRX, rings, deadlift pads, etc. It's generally not very crowded except closer to lunch time, even then it's pretty managable. The staff is very friendly and approachable, though they are only there a few hours a day. Trainers seem competent and personable, though I haven't worked with them directly. There are not a lot of classes, though there are some offered. Again - they do the no-frills/few-frills gym thing surprisingly well. For the money, you get a good amount of bang per buck.

Fantastic experience: Cool location makes it feel more like a private gym than your average location. Yes, you will need a membership for access to the gym. If you call ahead they may issue a guest pass for you. It’s just across from Agnes Scott College. Make sure you look for the Snap Fitness sign if your coming down Mcdonough St. because the gym is inside another building. There is a parking deck for parking but if the gate it down just use the call box to gain access.

She was very informative. The facility is clean and comfortable and it has most of the equipment I needed. Great service Lana!
