Fantastic experience: Love everyone there. Beautiful people. Clean facility. Convenience and reliable classes. Not over populated

Positive experience: This facility is an exceptional place to workout at. There are plenty of options. It has everything; and get this it's all included in your membership fee (Except for child care). Spinning, Yoga, Pilates, Cardio machines, Free weights, Hammer strength, and various adjustable weight training machines. Most of the staff are friendly and very personable, a few have hidden agendas; but for the most part, they are more than helpful and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with the best equipment in town. Really wished they'd go 24hrs though. Their hours since the pandemic aren't the best

Positive experience: At what point will the Y get with the program of decent hours like everyone one else in the gym world. Dispute popular belief , not ALL members are in their 80’s and take the weekend off from the gym. We workout out after 7pm, on holidays , And get this… on Sundays . I will say , they have the best equipment in town.

Positive experience: Really nice gym but it has the worst hours of any gym I've been to.

Positive experience: Good and friendly employees but they need to check some disgusting customers. The guy spit at floor in sauna like an animal when he did chewing a gum , I already reported him and they known him . I believe they kicked him out .

Positive experience: Pretty decent gym. Friendly atmosphere most of the time. Lots of machines although it seems many of the treadmills have glitchy TVs. Wish the pool was open later on weekends and cleaner...especially the outside pool. Pool staff has been unwelcoming in the past. I know they are mostly kids but they should probably have some training in how to treat the kids they are watching. We've always liked the private swimming lessons experience and those instructors have always been excellent. We used to love the Kids Night Out program, but they've made it less conducive for our child who is not into socializing. I wish they had some kind of classes for beginners especially yoga. Administrative people are nice but don't seem to be on the same page with information. Cleaning attendants are friendly and always hard at work. Now that my children are 8 and 11 they do not feel comfortable going in the ladies dressing room which I totally agree with but I do not feel comfortable letting them go in the men's area because there is no privacy for them. I'm not comfortable with them being exposed to naked men or having to expose themselves. Probably a lot to ask for a kids dressing area or family room. There is a changing room/storage room by the pool but I think it's really just meant for storage. It would be great if they would post the status of the pool on Facebook or via text. It's kind of inconvenient to get there only to discover it is closed because of a distant rumble.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service and welcome desk. 2 pools one indoor and heated another outdoors. Exercise equipment. Several Stories. Family environment and safe. Child Care. Excellent facility.

Fantastic experience: This YMCA was really good. Locker room isn't the biggest but it is clean. Gym seems great but it also seems that is more cardio oriented but there is weights as well. Staff is very kinda and welcoming. Parking wasn't a problem in the morning, at least not for me no matter it isn't that big parking lot.

Fantastic experience: Very nice instructors and workers.. Very spacious gym and plenty of machines and equipment. Definitely need an h2o water bottle filler. That is the new must in a gym. The water fountain takes to long to fill and cannot fill bottle all the way up because of the angle. But overall I love the gym and the atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: I use this gym as a visitor and have been very pleased with my experience. Both the staff and other patrons were friendly and helpful to this out-of-towner. I follow a pretty extensive powerlifting and body building program and this gym had almost everything I needed, including a weightlifting platform! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to go and work out or just relax in the hottub or swim in the pool! Amazing staff members that are very nice! It's very clean! It's very big and has a lot of room! They have very clean equipment!

Fantastic experience: The group fitness instructors are an exceptional team. They’re all phenomenal teachers and community builders. For me, they’ve made the difference in my experience at this YMCA. Otherwise, it’s a beautifully maintained facility. The mission of the organization and the way it’s run make membership well worth it.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best overall fitness facility in Baldwin county. I’ve tried several other gyms and nothing really compares to the selection of equipment. The staff is also very friendly and helpful! I thoroughly enjoy lifting and swimming here.

Fantastic experience: Very military friendly! If you're active military visiting the area, they will give you a free pass for the time you're here. I'd recommend this facility to anyone.

Positive experience: Great place, much better than downtown. I wish they would post a sign at the entrance and then enforce 10 minutes maximum per machine, no checking emails and texting while lounging on the equipment, chatting and socializing, rather than actually using the weights. The weights are for everyone's use, and using them is what they should be doing. Check your emails, text, and take calls in the lobby area. Thanks for a great place to work out. More fans would be a plus.

Positive experience: the people are great but the facility is not up to date. The people running scheduling the classes do a poor job to say the least. the instructors that run the classes are great.

Positive experience: Needs to stay open until 10 pm everyday. Needs to get EzH20 water fountains with bottle fillers. Filling a water bottle with a standard water fountain takes ages and doesn't allow you to fill it all the way up because of the angle.
