Genesis Health Clubs - Lee's Summit

Fantastic experience: Not a fan of Genesis Health Clubs as a company because of their shady owners but shout out to Josiah Musick he’s a W trainer. Literally helping me so much as a gym newbie w crazy gains. Def should talk to someone about training with him specifically.

Fantastic experience: Mathis was very friendly, helpful and personable! He made sure to take his time explaining the benefits of my membership. He is a great asset to your organization.

Fantastic experience: Modern equipment and clean. Staff is super nice and helpful. Lots of different options in terms of equipment. Shakes are good too.

Fantastic experience: Mitchell makes the best protein shakes ever, he is always helpful with form and great advise. His upbeat attitude and smile is one of the main reasons I come to the gym.

Fantastic experience: I love the GX classes (and childcare services) they provide at this location plus the new hot yoga studio (especially when winter is approaching, I hate the cold!) Anyway, I workout probably 5-6 days a week and love the instructors (Michelle, Sara, Josiah, Debby, Rachel and others to name a few!) Instructors and participants are encouraging and ready to help. The time always goes by so fast in GX classes so thank you!

Fantastic experience: I walked in this Genesis feeling awfully worn down from a long 12hr shift. When I was met by Mitchell who gave me motivation to put in the work and have a good workout. Amazing staff!

Fantastic experience: Have been a member at this gym for almost 7 years and it has definitely improved over time. The gym is newly renovated and the staff is awesome! Tons of cardio machines upstairs with the majority of weights on lower level and so many other fitness options. They also have a pool, sauna, steam room and the new locker rooms are amazing!! My boys have a blast in the Kids Club and have even begged to stay longer when I try to sign them out. It is definitely a win win for our family!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Dakota, one of the personal trainers for about 3 months 2 times a week. He has been terrific and helped me with my lower back pain due to him choosing the right excercises for me. The front desk employees are friendly and make a great protein drink!

Fantastic experience: Considering that had been a minute since I had stepped foot in a gym, I took my time reviewing and visiting various gyms. On my first visit, I noticed that there was a variety of body shapes, with a diversity age, gender, and ethnicity. Sigh of relief. Not everyone was perfectly fit..but they were there! Second, there are classes, trainers, equipment to suit various workout preferences. Third, I decided to sign up with a trainer because really didn't know how to start up again. I got matched with Dakota. Having a trainer like him makes a huge difference. He pushed me (nicely), but doesn't break me. He challenges me but doesn't intimidate me. He makes sure I am correctly and safely using the equipment. I've been member for under a year, and I have motivation to show up, feel comfortable, and have made some good friends.

Fantastic experience: We joined this gym in June 2022 and it has been a great experience. Everyone is very nice and it is a comfortable atmosphere to work out in. We also started personal training with Dakota and he has been awesome. We would highly recommend the gym and personal training.

Fantastic experience: Super excited for Yoga class with Monica V. I've taken private classes with her which I love. Her class makes me feel refreshed and vitalized. I am pleased with her modifications, her class is great for all levels. Can't wait to start back up for the year!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a lot of Genesis clubs, and this is one of my favorite! My 18 month toddler LOVES the kids club and is always looking forward to going in! She runs to her fave people (Jasmine (she loves Jasmine’s kiddos!!), Allison, Brook, and many others) She has gone since she was a little over 6 weeks old! They treat her SO well and I never have to worry when I’m working out there! Makes me enjoy my time at the gym! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve really enjoyed taking my daughter to the Kids Care Club! Jasmine is wonderful with my daughter and my daughter loves seeing her! She asks me everyday if we are going to see Jasmine. It makes working out so much easier knowing that my daughter is having such a great time! Thank you, Jasmine for providing such a safe and fun atmosphere for my kiddo and other kiddos! You are amazing!

Fantastic experience: I have been waiting for this gym to get remodeled, and it was so worth the wait. I had been going to the one closer to my house during the remodel, even though this one is farther it is by far superior. The gym is so much more well kept, staff is much nice and the equipment is just better and the environment is better! All I can say is the remodel is absolutely amazing, it’s so nice and I am happy to drive an extra couple minutes to get to this one because it is just that much better than the other one!

Fantastic experience: The remodel is incredible! My kids love the park inside the Kids Club and the locker rooms are superb. I enjoy the upgraded lounge area and look forward to the smoothie bar and hot yoga!

Fantastic experience: This club changed my life. Before coming in I wasn't motivated, I barely got out of bed, but now my life has completely turned around. I feel good in my own skin now. The management is super helpful, and the front desk always has a warm welcoming smile when I come into the gym. If you haven't already, go check out this gym!

Fantastic experience: Dev recently just signed up both my boyfriend and I. I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. He’s so sweet and really took the time to explain things to the both of us. They have also recently remodeled the gym and it looks amazing. It’s clean, everyone is so friendly and always willing to answer any questions we might have.

Fantastic experience: I wont go into extreme detail but Dev signed me up a few months back and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He signed me up quick and made it easy with no pressure at all. Fast forward to last week I went to Colorado for a trip and went to a Genesis in Fort Collins and had an issue with a GM there. I called Dev and Clement in Lee's Summit and they not only saved me from leaving Genesis but they now have a customer for life. Customer service like this is rare and when someone is willing to go above and beyond for you to keep you as a customer it makes you feel like you are not a number and part of a family. Thank you both Dev and Clement!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality I really enjoy working at at Genesis. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Trevanna helped me out when I needed to sign my daughter up. She was very friendly and courteous and went out of her way to help me. The gym is always clean. I highly recommend them!!!!
