Fantastic experience: I’ve been working out with Arash for 6 months. I started with one on one sessions as I was new to working out and switched to the small group sessions after a few months. I’ve enjoyed both types of training! Arash is encouraging, knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and very accommodating with scheduling. I love that my program is personalized so I continue to progress but at a pace suited to me and without injury. Highly recommend this gym and Arash as a trainer!

Fantastic experience: I trained with Thomas for a couple months and highly recommend working with him. He is knowledgeable, conducted a thorough evaluation of my strength and mobility, along with my goals, prior to building my plan. While training I’ve begun working on more advanced movements and the entire time he has helped ensure form is not compromised, minimizing the likelihood of injury and maximizing progress.

Fantastic experience: No matter where you on your calisthenics or strength training journey, this gym is for you. I’ve been working with Arash for about 5 months now and he’s helped me progress to more advanced calisthenics skills like the front lever and handstand push-ups. I wouldn’t have been able to get to this point without Arash. Whether you’re trying to do your first pull-up or want to do awesome calisthenics moves, Arash is definitely your guy. He’s really smart, he has high expectations, he’s mastered all the hard skills, and my favorite part is his ability to easily change up your training based on what he notices and his knowledge of progressive calisthenics. I’m really starting to feel like the sky is the limit in my calisthenics training and there’s no better feeling! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Arash for a little over 6 months, and my strength has significantly increased! I now have a solid strength routine that I can take with me when I travel, which was difficult to do with my pre-Capra routine with free weights or machines. If you’re looking for a sustainable and well-designed strength training routine using not much more than your own body and some props, Capra is for you. Arash will *politely* push you to reach your own limits : )

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Thomas at Capra for a couple months and I'm impressed with the program as well as his professionalism. He is incredibly encouraging and always maintains a calm, patient, and welcoming presence that helps assist one in their path towards getting into shape. Thomas approaches training in a rational and knowledgeable way and I've learned a great deal about how the body works and why bodyweight exercises, calisthenics, mobility, and progressive training can unlock one's potential. He has a keen eye for form and shows by example how to do the exercises and how to progress through them, even for a beginner like myself. I highly recommend Thomas if you're looking for a trainer and Capra as the place to improve your body and mind.

Fantastic experience: I'm new to Denver and knew I was ready to work on my body, get into shape, and be healthier overall. I'm far from the most athletic or coordinated person and was seeking a more focused, personalized program. I ended up finding Alex, and have been working with him for a couple of months now. The experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Alex is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He's very patient, explains exercises thoroughly, and continues to help me improve and grow on my fitness and health journey! I would highly recommend him to anyone, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Arash for a few months now and I can't believe the results! Fantastic experience: If you want to commit to yourself and your fitness, commit to this training program. I first came to Arash after seeing my husbands progress after 5 months of working with him and couldn’t believe how strong he had gotten. My initial goals were to improve my strength and Arash’s program has exceeded my expectations. I have strength in areas I have never had before even when training heavy in weightlifting , CrossFit, etc. I appreciate his approach to individualized training and listening to your body while also challenging it’s growth. Always a great time training and learning more about my own fitness as time goes by. Another plus is how Arash’s programs translate directly into everyday fitness such as snowboarding, walking stairs, and hiking. I have seen a huge improvement in my strength and stamina in my recreational activities.

Fantastic experience: Best personal training experience I’ve ever had! I’ve been training with Arash. His workouts are challenging but achievable. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been working out with Arash for 5 months now and love it. The training sessions are challenging but a lot of fun. We have seen a lot of progress in our abilities, we can now do exercises with ease that we couldn't do at all 5 months ago. We never get bored as Arash adapts the training constantly based on our progress and personal needs. Communication is easy. We don't have a very consistent schedule due to work but Arash always makes it work for us.

Fantastic experience: I recently started on a path to get back in shape. I checked out a few gyms. Did a bunch of research, and finally decided to give calisthenics a shot. I find it extremely difficult to work out on my own, and working out with a personal trainer has been it for me. And Thomas at their newer location has been nothing short of amazing. He builds a workout plan to suit my needs, strength, and capabilities. All while focusing on my form and technique. I could watch a thousand YouTube videos and not feel a pump on my muscles like I do working out with Thomas. It’s crazy how much form and technique can really help with progression. I’m getting stronger and building stamina. I feel great. If you’re wondering wether or not to give this gym and calisthenics a shot, wonder no more, do it!

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Arash for 3 months now. Exercising has never been very enjoyable but Arash makes it fun, and I look forward to my sessions. The workouts are individualized based on each person’s skill level and goals, so I am confident my best interests are always kept in mind. I’ve been seeing improvements both physically and mentally, and am very excited to continue training with Arash.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Arash for about six months and he’s a great instructor, patient, and adjusts my workouts continuously so I’m able to progress steadily on my skills without getting bored. I was super bored with just weightlifting and doing HIIT but my workouts with Arash give me goals to work towards over the long term which is much more motivating than the typical gym routine. I highly recommend him for anyone interested in training calisthenics!

Fantastic experience: I never write reviews, but I wanted to now because this place is great! My trainer is Arash and he's awesome. He's patient and fun to converse with during workouts. He's shown me a lot of great calisthenics exercises that I never would've known about before coming to this gym. I always feel good leaving the gym; you sweat more than when weightlifting but you're also not too tired afterwards. You really get a complete and fulfilling workout here without lifting any weights. Highly recommend training with Arash at this gym. Weightlifting is so yesterday!

Fantastic experience: I do small group training with Arash and he is great! I have done group trainings before at other studios, but never felt like I received the feedback and attention needed to improve. Arash takes time with each individual so that he can correct our form and observe our performance. I have some injuries that I let him know about and he was able to provide alternate movements for me. Arash personalizes everybody's workout differently so that it is tailored to each individual. In the short time that I have attended these sessions (i.e. I do 3x a week), my strength has improved significantly. I am excited to continue my training and work on my body composition through Arash's class. Another note to add, is that sometimes it can be daunting to head into a small training class (3-4 people max) and feel 'shy' when trying out new exercises. However, I have always felt at ease and comfortable during these training classes. The vibe of the classes are very friendly and chill, like a group of friends working out - and the music is always on point!

Fantastic experience: I've been working out with Thomas at the Lincoln Park location and have never enjoyed fitness this much until now! The exercises are so much fun and very engaging. You can tell Thomas genuinely cares about each of his clients and has an amazing attention to detail. He notices any time my form is off and helps me correct it and ensures we progress at a rate that doesn't risk injury but still keeps each session challenging. He also points out and encourages me when my form is perfect so I know when I'm doing an exercise correctly. Since starting, I've noticed myself get stronger and progress through exercises I wasn't even sure I'd be able to do. I look forward to each session and couldn't be happier!

Fantastic experience: Alex is awesome! My husband and I have been working with him for just shy of three months and our stamina, strength, and body compositions have changed drastically. He’s patient and attentive while teaching new moves and methods and always careful to make sure we are working hard without over exerting ourselves. We’ve tried other trainers, programs, and methods but Alex is who you want to work with if you want to feel amazing in your own body. Don’t hesitate!

Fantastic experience: I started training with Arash around 4 months ago and came in looking to get stronger and feel pain-free. Fantastic experience: Alex is a great trainer. He works with you to build a plan that is straightforward but helps you reach your goals. He is very professional, has great attention to detail, and is always timely. His body weight training focuses on form and I really like the results. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Alex Ceban’s gym for a couple months, now. The thing that I really like about this gym is that it is all weight resistance training. You don’t have to learn how to work equipment, or worry that you might drop a weight on your toes. My trainer, Arash S., came up with exercises for me that are simple, but very effective. I really enjoy learning from him, and I see my body improving! Arash finds a way to be laid back and attentive at the same time. He has somehow made it so that I actually look forward to working out!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Arash for a few months and could not say enough positive things about him. I went into it feeling slightly skeptical but Arash definitely exceeded any and all expectations. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. I have never felt judged by Arash or any clients in the group sessions. I also love that everyone has different programs, so you can go at your own pace without any pressure. Fantastic experience: I've been working with Arash for the past three or four months and in just that short time have made progress that I previously would have thought was completely out of my reach. Arash is a fun and inspiring trainer who I would recommend anyone wanting to get serious about Calisthenics work with. The program is tailored to your goals and body individually, so everyone progresses at their own rate. It's not always easy but I always leave feeling great, knowing that I'm making progress and pushing myself to be the best I can. Fantastic experience: I have been working out with Alex for over 6 months and feel he is an excellent trainer! Alex connects to identify goals and paths towards achieving them. Alex checks in about your progress each session as well as how you are feeling to ensure that the exercises for the day make sense for where you are. Fantastic experience: I recently moved to Denver and did a lot of research about which gym I wanted to go to and even considered trainers that would come to my apartment building as well. I stumbled upon Alex Ceban Bodyweight Training online and was intrigued immediately. I had a consultation setup within hours and went in for it the same day. I connected with the trainer Arash and have been working with him since July 2021. He’s been a fantastic professional and a fun trainer to work with. I always look forward to going to my sessions and I have booked 3 sessions of 1on1s per week. I would highly recommend this over any other gym as body weight training actually lets you visualize your progress and understand it rather than adding more weight to a machine. I am someone that tried weight lifting several times and unfortunately couldn’t find the best use out of just because of my personal body goals and previous injuries. However, bodyweight training has been a really big game changer as you get to see results with the exercises that you progress with. To add to that, Arash facilitated the success in a great way and has been extremely flexible as well. An extra perk is that the team at the gym are dog lovers, so you can bring in your pup if you ever can’t find anyone to watch them during your sessions. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to work on building their body strength and even just general balance. To further improve on a successful formula, I think the gym can incorporate more tips on nutrition as your work is rendered useless if you don’t know how to best manage your food intake. However, when you do begin they give you some good rules of thumb to help guide you.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Thomas Wood. He's excellent! He pays really close attention to my form and knows how to progress my exercises so that I'm appropriately challenged but not so tired that I'm unable to workout again a couple days later. He's really personable and accommodating of my work schedule, too. I'm making good progress with him and finally feel like I've found a way to be consistent with my fitness at an affordable price with a great coach. I'd highly recommend Thomas to anyone looking to get into calisthenics!

Fantastic experience: Each exercise Alex put into my program targeted a specific muscle group that has helped me in my goal to do handstands and improve my overall wellness. He was very helpful with correcting my form during our virtual training sessions, which I can imagine is much more difficult than in person training, so I was really impressed with that. I would not have pushed myself as hard if I were doing these sessions on my own, so I am very grateful for Alex motivating me and making me stronger than I've ever been before.

Fantastic experience: Alex is an amazing trainer and I've had great results with him in a very short amount of time. He does an excellent job of increasing the intensity of my workouts at a pace that provides the perfect level of challenge. Fantastic experience: Alex is an incredible trainer. He works with you to determine your goals and what you’d like to achieve. He actually develops a program for you that takes your goals into consideration. Each session, Alex helps you work toward your goals, and his custom workouts build on those goals so you see progress. Fantastic experience: I've been working with Alex for the past 7 months and am extremely happy with my results. The small group session is perfect since it allows you to get just the right amount of attention - in between a 1-on-1 personal session and a large group exercise class. Alex meticulously designs each individual's program with their specific goals in mind and adjusts whenever needed. From the beginning I was impressed by his expertise (he will instruct you to make subtle changes in form that make the movement so much more efficient) and his knowledge of how to build muscle is evident. Alex provides the right balance of compassion and empathy with making sure you are pushing yourself enough to reach your goals. Having tried other personal trainers and group classes, I can confidently say that Alex's program has worked better than any other for me.

Fantastic experience: My fitness goal was to become stronger. I found Alex's approach of bodyweight training a perfect fit for me because I didn't want to rely on gym memberships and equipment and I wanted the flexibility to train anywhere. Fantastic experience: I came to Alex 6 months out of ACL and meniscus surgery. With the encouragement of my physical therapist and orthopedic surgeon I was already working out my legs to speed the recovery process but wanted to progress more in my own training. Alex is really laid back and patient when it comes to new movements, especially so if you've got a pre-existing injury. I've been training with him for 2 months now and enjoyed it so much I increased my sessions to 4x a week. Workouts always feel intentional and change once you've progressed to a certain point in your strength, and Alex is always great finding new movements and workouts if I have any concerns with my knee. He's great at correcting your form even in the groups (not sure how he does it!) and I even occasionally send him pictures of my food to get feedback. Highly recommend him if you're looking for personal training in Denver!

Fantastic experience: Alex is by far the best trainer I have worked with. He is a well rounded trainer who not only designs workout programs tailored to your personal abilities and goals, he also provides real world advice around nutrition, sleep habits, etc. I particularly liked that he always ensured my technique was correct to avoid injuries. I know that I would never have achieved the level of fitness and wellness at my age (51) if not for Alex's personal attention.

Fantastic experience: Alex Ceban is a fantastic trainer. His training has helped me correct muscle imbalances and make my back/legs stronger to alleviate pain I feel from sitting at a desk or playing guitar all day. His training regiments are personalized and he does a great job listening to clients when something hurts, or doesn't feel right. I originally had planned to just do 1-on-1 training for a while but have continued with group sessions because he actually can pay enough attention to me that I feel they're very much worth the price. My girlfriend is a Physical Therapist and wanted to go with me to a session to make sure Alex was teaching proper technique and wasn't doing any damage to my injured shoulder - she verified he's the real deal.

Fantastic experience: I like trying new gyms and workout styles because I get bored easily but have been with Alex for 4-ish months 2x/week and it still has my attention for sure. There is something very Zen and meditative about body weight training, it is very different than lifting weights. And the way Alex structures the program allows for clearly seeing how you are progressing and that's very motivating. Also like Alex' simple approach to nutrition: helped me drop a few pounds. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for someone to help jumpstart your fitness, Alex is your guy. No matter where you’re starting at, this is the place to be. His gym is incredible and the workouts that you do make sense and are customized for your body type and fitness level as well as your goals. Unlike other training programs at chain gyms, where you’re just a number and there is no real structure, Alex takes it to a whole new level and provides you with that structure. If you’re looking for someone to help with nutrition, he can do that too. It’s all inclusive and it’s worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: Alex is extremely knowledgable, always on time, and truly cares about his clients. I started training with him back in October and have seen noticeable improvements since. I continue to be challenged with my workouts and have really enjoyed the bodyweight only training method. Being able to push your body through progressive calisthenics is definitely more rewarding. Fantastic experience: I came to Alex 3 months ago with several goals in mind that I have been wanting to accomplish. From the first meeting, to the next, Alex has always been prepared, on time, flexible to my schedule and understanding. As for the training, I am incredibly excited with my accomplishments and the progress I’ve made so far in such a short amount of time. He progresses you appropriately, pushes and encourages you and is constantly attentive to your form to ensure you’re doing it correctly. I was only here for a short time and I’m incredibly bummed to not be able to train in person- definitely would recommend training with him!

Although we’ve never met in person, the workouts and programs he has me doing are well tailored to my needs and ability. Fantastic experience: First off, let me just say that Alex is one of the most genuinely nice guys I've ever met and that his passion for health and fitness is legitimately contagious. I worked out with Alex for a few months and he taught me to view fitness from an entirely different perspective. When we started, we had a conversation about my current training habits and my fitness goals. I have always been skeptical of calisthenics training and most often utilize a combination of free weights and machines when I work out, but I haven't noticeably progressed in several years. Alex built me a routine week-by-week based on my performance in our prior sessions. He studied my form to check for weak points and built me custom workouts designed to help me systematically improve. He helped me fundamentally re-build my fitness routine from the ground up using only my body weight and the results in terms of my strength and endurance became noticeable after only a few weeks. He really made me focus on core strength, endurance, progressive overload and exercise variety. His approach is methodical, challenging and has allowed me to continuously improve over the last few months. He always has time to answer my questions and elaborate on any given exercise or technique that we are using. He is impressively decorated in certifications and is a legitimate professional in his field. Every workout is different, and every workout leaves me feeling exhausted, sore and encouraged that I can continue to do better. If you are looking for a trainer who has the knowledge and experience to help push you to the next level, do yourself a favor and give Alex a call.

Fantastic experience: I met with several other trainers before finding Alex and I am SO HAPPY I found him! I have been training with Alex for 3 months now and the results have been noting short of life changing. I am stronger, leaner and most importantly—pain free. I have been going to physical therapy for years as a result of surgeries and movement dysfunction and Alex’s style of bodyweight training completely eliminate all of my pain. Fantastic experience: I've been working with Alex for about 4 months, and I can honestly say its been an absolute fantastic experience. He's both extremely punctual and flexible, this guy pushes you to the limit every session! I had gone to other gyms in the past, but never worked with a personal trainer before. Alex made the transition super smooth, starting out by getting to know my goals(both short and long term) and delivered a comprehensive strategy to meet those goals. Being a little nervous at first, I started out with Alex once a week, but because of his work ethic and depth of knowledge of all the different muscle groups in the body, I changed it to twice a week instead. My girlfriend is shocked at the results i've had in such a short amount of time. Definitely go with Alex, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Alex is an outstanding personal trainer and a great guy as well. He is very immersed in his craft and thus is full of helpful knowledge and true understanding of the methodologies most suited for any particular result. He will challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone and you will be a better person for it. He is very attentive to his clients, organized and professional. Fantastic experience: I began working with Alex in February 2015 in order to prepare for my wedding in Mexico. From our first meeting Alex was nothing but inspirational, knowledgeable and supportive about achieving my goals. I wanted to lose some weight and body fat, learn new techniques and take my fitness and heath regimen to a new level. I have worked out in various forms my whole life but the initial 6 months of training with Alex transformed my body entirely. I began at 202 pounds and 26% body fat in February and by August I was 175 pounds and under 11% body fat. I trained with Alex 3 times per week in person but Alex also wrote me personal programs on the days that I didn’t train with him that were just as good as the days I did. The knowledge that Alex has around training techniques is incredible and based off his endless pursuit of conquering his next personal fitness goal and trying to have his clients follow suit and get to his same level. He also gave me extensive diet advice which was vital in helping me achieve my goals. Since Alex moved to Atlanta I kept training with him under his online platform where on a daily basis he personally would write programs for me. These sessions were tailored to my performance and achieving goals that we mutually discussed. I cannot recommend Alex highly enough and know that there can’t be many trainers out there with his vast knowledge base and determination for his clients to succeed. The techniques he taught me I will take forward forever.
