The Fitness Loft Columbus

Fantastic experience: I never thought I'd be a gym person - but I've been going to the Fitness Loft for over a year and I love it! They have look lots of classes (that are all included with your membership) and a huge workout area if you want to do your own thing. The gym and facilities are always clean and well equipped. Everyone (staff and members) are friendly and welcoming - it is a pleasure to go there and workout!

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym in Columbus. Staff always greet you with a smile and a warm welcome. The facility is consistently spotless and it’s great being able to see the owners and instructors interact with clients. The classes, towel service, sauna, lockers, showers, etc. are top notch. A huge perk of this gym is that they are always adding something new to the gym so it makes you WANT to exercise instead of seeing the same equipment everyday. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This facility is excellent. The equipment is new, it is spaced out well, and the whole place is exceptionally clean. Moreover, it's never been too busy, not even on a Monday night.

Fantastic experience: The Fitness Loft has an amazing, motivated staff (not common in a number of fitness centers). It has a wide variety of modern equipment and plenty of space for working out (again not common). It's also incredibly clean (need I say it again?) What I like most is that it is the best in terms of the design and layout of the facility. The views from inside and the massive amount of natural sunlight coming through the wall of windows makes even the most challenging workout an inspiring experience. The locker room feels more like a high-end designer bathroom than a locker room. If you are looking for more than a basic gym and you want to enjoy the entire process while you enhance your health and fitness, you won't find a more competent staff, better equipment or a nicer environment. Go there, you won't regret it!!!

Fantastic experience: Edit: Totally forgot to add an actual review! This place has everything that you need and then some! A fantastic layout where you never feel smooshed tight with other gym goers and lots of rooms/classes to choose from. It gets a bit crowded during peak hours, but as long as you can shift your schedule around that it remains my gym of choice for the money in the area! Plus the towel game and the amazing sauna are fantastic to have. Add in the fact that you can get a healthy bite after your workout and this place has everything!

Fantastic experience: Regained my love for fitness! WOW - this is the best gym in Columbus hands down. Working nearby, I am able to get a workout in during my lunch break each day. State of the art equipment, wide variety of different machines/cardio/KB/DB, plus things I’ve never tried before. CLEANEST gym I have ever been to, by a land slide. Free sweat towels? Yes please. Smoothies downstairs? Yes please. FREE classes included in my low monthly fee? Heck yes. 10/10, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of safe and well lit parking lot. This place is very clean. The staff are very nice. Fellow members are polite. Equipment is excellent. I especially like the amount of natural light that surrounds ever inch. I don't feel closed in or crowded. They even have an elevator for seniors and others who might need a lift.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for several years now. Traveling for work and having worked at a local gym years ago, I have experience with all the major brands and local gyms. This is the very best gym in Columbus. Let me count the ways. Staff: Staff is friendly, efficient and professional. Hours: Hours are great. (No one else but me would want to work out at 6am on a Saturday and Sunday lol) Equipment: 3 racks, 1 smith, 2 flat BB BP, 1 incline BB BP, 1 decline BB BP, 5 adjustable free weight benches, 1 curls, multiple DB of smaller weights up to 40lb - always some DBs available. Every machine you can imagine. 6 pullys, 1 pull down, 1 row, several other variations of pullys. All the different ab machines you could want. Core equipment. A large synergy array for pull-ups, etc. Availability: equipment is almost always available. Only issues are during peak-peak times - which is to be expected. We are talking like 1.5-2 hours in the AM & PM. No major barriers to working out. Lots of cardio equipment. A couple classrooms. Lots of trainers available. The place is always super clean. Everything is in working order!(!!) It’s well lit, etc. The team is always open to feedback and will likely purchase something if you ask. They truly have everything you could need. They’re the best!

Positive experience: I’ve been a member at this gym for over a year. Clean facility, tons of class offerings if you’re into that sort of thing. Staff are delightful. Smoothie/sandwich shop inside is very good but sometimes after a workout the bacon smell is nauseating. It’s been very very crowded since like December? Must’ve ran a promotion or something but definitely an influx as far as I’ve noticed.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym and awesome people! The equipment and facility is very clean and maintained well by the friendly staff. The locker rooms are also very nice and include built-in locks on the lockers and free towel services. Sad I am leaving this gym after 4 years due to a move. Highly recommend to anyone looking to start or maintain a healthy lifestyle!

Fantastic experience: The Fitness Loft is by far the best gym in Columbus. It is clean, well organized, boasts cutting edge equipment, and offers a great variety of group fitness classes. They have complimentary lockers with digital locks which are very convenient and when not in the midst of a global pandemic, have other great amenities like towels, shampoo and body wash, and a sauna. I started at the Fitness Loft about two years ago because it was close to where I worked. I was a bit intimidated about getting back into the gym after a long hiatus but the staff team is so friendly and every other member I have met has been courteous and easy to be around. It is a very comfortable space to work out in. Sadly, I had a location change with my job and had to cancel my membership (which was super easy and the team member who helped me was extremely prompt and kind about it). I started attending another gym for about a year but my heart stayed with TFL. I rejoined a few months ago, again feeling some anxiety but this time because of COVID. Wow, has this gym done a stellar job of adapting and keeping their staff and members safe!! They clean thoroughly every day from 12-2, have 6 ft spaces are taped off throughout the gym which allows social distancing, and they have strict masking policy which members are great about following (from what I have observed). I am a healthcare worker and I can honestly say TFL is one of the places I feel most comfortable in right now. If you are on the fence about gym membership during this pandemic, I would really encourage you to at least check out the Fitness Loft. It is a great gym with great people.

Here's why you should join them - They don't put revenue over the health and safety of their members. They've proved that time several times at this point. That says a lot about a business.

Also Morgan is an inspiring, personable and effective trainer, so please don’t workout with her because I want her to be able to devote all of her time to me.

Not only do they pay attention to the smallest of details when it comes to cleanliness and quality of equipment, they go a step above and personally engage with their membership, the community, and strive for consistent improvement. If you live in the Columbus area and haven’t been to TFL or Axon you are simply doing yourself a disservice.

Fantastic experience: The class selection is unbeatable and the instructors are all knowledgeable. Plus, it's affordable! I wasn't a gym person before this, but everyone made me feel welcome and wanted the best for me. You won't regret getting a membership (unless you don't use it, then maybe).

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of TFL for over 5 years. It is always so clean and even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic staff have kept the gym feeling safe and clean and made it clear that sanitation and their members' health is a top priority. I love that there are classes of all kinds included in your membership fee. The facility itself is very high tech and the crowd that goes is filled with young professionals. I couldn't ask for a better gym! They're even located on top of Alchemy Juice so makes for a nice place to get a pre or post workout juice or smoothie. If you are considering TFL, I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Gym is super clean, always has fresh towels. They could use some more weight plates and could use a couple of machines that they are lacking like a rear deltoid/chest fly and could use more back machines like a t-bar row or the newer style ergonomical pull down machines. Alchemy is great though and you will never have to worry about theft in the locker rooms.

Fantastic experience: Just joined this gym and love it so far. The lockers rooms are very nice with everything you need to get ready. The fitness classes are included and easy to sign up for with the gym app. Plenty of space. The staff has all been very nice. Not a 5 because it’s not all perfect but would definitely recommend checking out. There is a 3 day trial pass available

Fantastic experience: We joined The Fitness Loft in January (when our old gym shut down for a month!?!?). We immediately felt at home. The entire staff was awesome. The facility was immaculate. Best of all the trainers set us up yo succeed. Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved going to this gym. I work across the street so it was very convenient. The staff was also consistently friendly and I felt safe and comfortable going to this gym early in the morning before work. The showers were always very clean, as was all the equipment. I love all the windows too - makes running on a treadmill a lot less painful. Also bonus: Alchemy is downstairs!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of TFL for over 5 years. It’s a great facility. Plenty of cardio machines and an abundance of strength training machines and free weights. The staff is very friendly and eager to answer questions. They are also very knowledgeable if you have training questions. TFL has gone above and beyond to keep the facility safe and clean in a Covid world. The place is spotless!

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've found in Columbus so far. Never packed, always clean, and they continue to bring in Rogue equipment which is super high quality and local. The only suggestion I have is to purchase more kettlebells, otherwise the place is stellar.

Fantastic experience: Wow, one of the or perhaps the nicest, cleanest and most up to date gym I have ever been to. Literally every piece of equipment is new. Want to watch a Youtube Channel with beautiful scenery while working out no problem. Ever piece of equipment is web enabled. Want a Class; Silver Sneakers, Yoga, Spinning, etc. they have it. And when you finish working out they have a wonderful cafe where you can get Salads, Smoothies and other healthy food. Miss this Gym and you will regret it later... How many gyms when you walk into the door actually smell nice like a Cafe. I can not say enough about this location. You must check it out for yourself...

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since TFL opened, more than 4 years ago, and I have no complaints about my experience there! The facilities are beautiful and provide everything you could want, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the BODYPUMP classes, but there are a large variety of classes available at all hours of the day, and they are all included with the membership! The towel service, keypad lockers (no locks!) and sauna are also nice perks. Check TFL out - you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I used The Fitness Loft (TFL) from 2015-2018 before moving out of state. It remains my favorite gym I have ever used. Great equipment, respectful members and staff, and very clean!

Fantastic experience: The only gym I will ever love. Clean, great air flow, open, bright. I never have to wait for equipment and the showers/locker rooms are amazing (and I love the fact that I don't need to pack a hairdryer!). It's simply the best. The fact that I love going here has absolutely contributed to my success at the gym.

After a couple year fitness hiatus of being burnt out of all gym pressures and monotony, I started working out at Fitness Loft. I felt so uplifted by the positive and accepting environment. All of the team members at Fitness Loft made it an effort to learn my name and make me feel welcome. A year and a half later, it is absolutely my favorite place. My fitness goals have excelled, as well as my mental goals. Highly Recommend! Great group classes, nice equipment, and great staff!

Fantastic experience: This gym is life. If you aren't working out here you're simply wasting your money. I had shopped around various gyms of different prices and facility styles for months prior to joining the Fitness Loft. Mind you, I had just moved here from Miami Florida at that time so I came with big expectations and this gym has surpassed all of them. The one thing I hear "but it's more expensive than other chain gyms!" - Yes and No. Yes, the monthly fee may be a bit more a month BUT you're not getting some absurd enrollment fee of $200 like all the others have. Additionally, I have never ever waited for equipment (which is always in mint condition), I have never felt bothered or intimidated and most of all - it has the best classes all included in your membership. I have three particular classes I am obsessed with (you'll have to sign up to find out which they are ;) ) and I swear they allow me to eat like I'm training for a triathlon without gaining weight. All jokes aside, what makes this gym all the more special is the people who work there and who go there. I work from home so my 'in person' human interaction is limited during the week. This is where I go to not just relieve stress but to interact with others as well. Every trainer/instructor here is different but they're all so kind and patient. There's different energy levels and training styles so everyone can find that particular class or instructor who speaks to them. They ultimately push you to step outside of your comfort zone in a comfortable manner which is all you can hope for!

Fantastic experience: Please don't join. I love this gym just the way it is now. It is clean. Everything is clean. The staff is bubbly. The equipment is mostly nice. Weight machines are dual-axis! They have Olympic bar free weights.

Fantastic experience: I only got to experience this gym on a one day pass while traveling but I really liked it. The gym was so clean and we'll maintained. The locker room was pristine. The set up was very open so I didn't feel like I was too on top of other people and the spread of equipment was sufficient.

Fantastic experience: Went with as a guest with my sister, she's a member and the interior is all new and updated. The staff is nice and friendly. Clean facilities and a mandatory judge free zone. Tons of diverse equipment, a sauna room and huge loft windows for a view of the Children's hospital.

Fantastic experience: It's been two years since I left Columbus, and I STILL miss this gym. I absolutely loved the equipment, the layout, the people, the café, the amount of parking available, and the two huge exercise rooms. In eleven years of being a member in different gyms, none come close to the Fitness Loft.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! The equipment works with a smart phone app that tracks your progress and the treadmills and cardio machines have amazing touch screens where you can sign into your Netflix account so you can "Netflix and cardio". My favorite part is getting to stop at Alchemy after the workout which has a ton of healthy food options to choose from. *My one complaint is the gym hours!* I signed up to do a trail of the gym and quickly realized how limited the hours of operation are. I'm not a morning gym person and prefer to go mid day or at night. If they ever extend their hours at night just by 1 or 2 hours I would be hooked!

Fantastic experience: This gym is a little pricey, but trust me it is well worth it. The perks of being a member are outstanding! I have nothing bad to say about this gym. The view from the windows are beautiful, the locker rooms and sauna are very clean, the staff are funny, charming, and professional. The space is plentiful and the classes kick my ass in a good way. LOVE IT.

You'll want to get to know people here. Alchemy is on the main level, too! Ask for a free trial. Prices are just right. Try it!

Fantastic experience: It's like someone took my minds perfect gym and made it a reality. Members take just as good care and cleanliness of the machines as the staff. Friendly, goal-oriented, and positive staff. For those that find gyms and equipment to be intimidating, I think you'll find it quite simple with plenty of people there to help you achieve your body-health goals. The TechnoGym equipment allows you to track your workouts and see your the results of your hard work, motivating you to push even further! Start and finish your workout with some time in their infrared sauna, and you'll leave feeling refreshed. And anyone that crinkles their nose at the thought of a gym shower clearly hasn't been in The Fitness Lofts locker rooms! So far, I cannot find something I don't like about my gym. I wish I had joined sooner. See you there!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of this gym for about five months now and I am very pleased. This place is spacious, offers lots of cardio machines, free weights and classes if you need structured fitness. I seldom take a class so I cannot comment on the quality of instruction. I'm usually there four times a week and the place is always immaculate! Other members also take care of the place and clean the equipment and keep the locker room in decent shape. The crowd tends to be mostly mid 20's to 30's on average but most should feel comfortable working out here, I do. The staff is friendly, most members keep to themselves but are courteous. The membership price may seem steep to some, however, one should consider that it is a month-to-month deal, no contracts. The hours should work for most people. Overall, I would recommend this place, friendly staff, modern equipment and plenty of eye candy.

Fantastic experience: I only got to visit TFL for a day but I had a great experience and workout. Excellent variety of cardio and lifting equipment, plenty of space specifically for stretching (which a lot of gyms do not think about), tons of options for class and class hours and a friendly staff as well. Bonus: Alchemy!!!!! The gym was simply out of my budget, but if you can afford it, definitely go!
