Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. Been a member prior to their opening. Always clean, never super crowded, never had someone ask to work in because there is plenty of room and equipment. I recommend this spot. And I love putting people on the spot. Whoever wants Retro is just a cheap !@#$%^ that's it. To say this place doesn't have good equipment.....Riiiightt. These are the pre madonnas....Look at how most people rate this place. Ignore the negative comments. I'm sure these guys wear panties. Fake names also say enough to know it's all bs. And poor people with their tiny hurt little feelings that a little blonde could induce....unbelievable.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I have ever walked in to. staff greets you as soon as you walk in the door, and says good bye before you walk out. all of the equipment is in good shape and very well taken care of. the gym is also very clean and maintained well, so for me, its worth paying the extra money over somewhere like LA. they do have protein shakes that are very good and reasonably priced. The only thing I wish they did differently is that they were open later on a Saturday. maybe 8pm?

Fantastic experience: I live in Bermuda and travel to NYC quite frequently and have been to all of the gyms in the Manhattan area. I’ve also visited Bev Francis Powerhouse Gym in Syosset but Powerhouse Saddle Brook in my personal opinion is one million times better in terms of space, equipment, location, atmosphere and energy then Bev Francis Powerhouse. I found the gym on a Google Map search on my way to Woodbury Commons for the day and when I walked in, I was in shocked how aesthetically pleasing and spacious the gym looked. The front desk staff was very helpful and also offered locks for the locker room (bonus). The equipment selection is amazing HOIST, Arsenal Strength, Hammer Strength to name a few. The cardio was abundant and plentiful (along with the strength equipment) but the owner who came up to my boyfriend and I is what sets this gym apart. Eric aka EROCK came up and introduced himself to us and welcomed us to his gym. I am so impressed by his love and passion for his gym. I have visited many gyms around USA including Madhouse Atlanta and Gold’s Gym Venice Beach and I must say Powerhouse Saddle Brook is the number 1 gym I have trained at thus far. I will now make sure to drive to Saddle Brook from Manhattan when visiting just to train here. It is THAT GOOD. Locals you don’t realize how good you have it.

Fantastic experience: Loved my time out here in NJ training at Powerhouse. The staff is super friendly and the gym is clean at all times. They have traditional plate loaded machines as well as cable machines so pick your poison. It's a good size gym but it's pretty popular so it can feel cluttered depending on the time you go. I'm a guy with social anxiety and I still enjoyed training here when it was packed because even the members of the gym are super friendly and willing to let you work in. 10/10 would recommend switching your membership to Powerhouse Gym Saddle Brook

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym I’ve ever been to in this area equipment is well-maintained , they keep the gym clean and everybody seems to be putting their weights away as they should where they belong which is a rarity up this way because people Up this way don’t like to take the weight off of the machines, leave the Dumbbells wherever they leave them and make a mess of most gyms.. it’s so refreshing to see a gym with such high standards I would highly recommend this to anybody who’s serious about lifting weights.. this is not Your average gym.. I was a little taken back when they wouldn’t let me try out the gym for free for a day however when you have a facility of this high standard there are no free rides .. keep up the good work fellas..

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Valerie for making my transition from my old gym to the powerhouse fam amazing! Went in yesterday and she gave me a full detailed tour of the whole facility. I committed to a membership that day and had my first workout the next morning. The gym is top tier! And the equipment? *chefs kiss* I see in the reviews that people are complaining about the strict rules. If you want to shout and slam weights this gym may not be for you! How about ask questions before committing on what you can and cannot do as I did while Valerie was giving me the tour. I love that it’s very clean and I never have to play find two dumbbells that match like I had to do at my old gym!

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Equipment is awesome! The workout space is wonderful! High ceilings! I left my gym of many years to join! The members are all serious, and have incredible gym edicate! Unlike my old gym, where alot of the younger members are just naive, and have no clue what gym edicate is! The owner at Powerhouse is a nice guy that goes out of his way to meet and greet new members! Love my new gym!

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, especially for lifters but also for those of all levels. Spacious, clean and expansive. Huge selection of serious and unique equipment. Everything you could ever wish for to get fit and strong. Well designed layout. Very motivating vibe and friendly staff. Locker rooms are clean and well maintained. You bring your own towels but that's standard for a lifter's gym. Hand sanitizer and wipes are readily available. The owners are lifters and it shows. So glad this place opened! Request to management: Concept2 Rower & Curve Treadmill, please! :)

Employees are constantly cleaning the gym and members respect one another and re rack weights. If you're searching for a new gym look no further.

Fantastic experience: I joined PowerHouse about two weeks ago and this is by far the best gym experience that I have ever had. Fair price, convenient location,VERY clean, new equipments, warm/friendly staff (specially Laura), and an abundance of classes that offers something for everyone. The owner is right there onsite, engaged and accessible...ready to address any concerns or to simply offer a warm greeting as you enter the gym highly recommended!!!!

I was able to get on every machine quickly because all the gyn members have good gym etiquette. It’s owner operated by a gym guru who has been in the gym business for over 30 years. GO CHECK IT OUT. IT WILL BE YOUR NEW HOUSE.

Fantastic experience: Best Gym in neighboring towns ...been to Retro in Wallington n it sucks ..Quest on 17 doesn't have updated equipment but Powerhouse is always super clean...always updating equipment...Your greeted coming in & out by beautiful friendly staff. This gym has everything from childcare, chiropractor, steam room and much more . So glad I came here ...been at this gym over 2 years now . Eric the owner treats you like family .

Fantastic experience: If I could give it 6 stars I would. I have been training under Eriks Roof(s) since the very beginning of his Gym journeys over 25 years ago. I have followed him this entire time for good reason. You will not find another gym as clean, as well kept, or as updated as any of his 2 locations. He takes great pride in a safe and organized atmosphere. From all the weights being put back always where they belong to the people using them being a close nit group of people. The gym is top shelf from staff right down to the equipment.

No excuse not to join! 24hrs, daycare, free classes included in membership, yoga, serious fit, inexpensive, super clean, protein shakes, meals, lots of parking, friendly staff! What more is needed?! The 60 days notice is told to EVERYBODY when they sign up and Is emailed to you with the email you provide. If that's an issue you should've listened up when you join.

Great protein shakes and they offer some delicious healthy meals there too if you ever need a fast meal that won't destroy your diet. Best gym in the area by far. Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for a few years now, I don't know where the folks who wrote negative reviews were going because it wasn't this location. I have never had a even slightly off experience with the staff. They are always helpful always pleasant and always smiling. Eric is the absolute best, making it a point to greet all of his customers and to make sure folks are respectful of the equipment and each other. My wife and I moved out of the area and we now have no less than 2 dozen or so gyms between where we moved and Eric's PowerHouse and we still go to Powerhouse. It's our second home and I couldn't imagine training anywhere else.
