Fantastic experience: Progress Studio has literally got me back in the game. Four months ago I stopped working out and needed a place to encourage/inspire me to start back up again. The work outs are challenging but easily adjusted to your fitness level. The entire vibe in the studio is so welcoming. Glad I found it !!!

Fantastic experience: The group fitness classes at Progress are much more engaging than going to the gym by myself. The trainers are knowledgeable, supportive, and positive motivators!

Fantastic experience: Both Matt and Katie are fantastic at what they do! I leave workouts feeling challenged but not so exhausted that I can’t have a productive rest of the day. They accommodate all skill/strength levels and are so good about making sure each person is getting the workout they need. I feel welcomed and encouraged every time I step through the door!

Fantastic experience: Best gym community in C’ville hands down! Katie always provides a wide range of accommodations and levels so classes are accessible for all bodies, even those with injuries. The people that go to Progress are so welcoming and I leave every class feeling awesome. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Historically I've been opposed to spending any of my extra money on workout classes when I can do videos at home for free or use the machines at a cheap gym, but after doing my free trial with Progress Studio I was compelled to buy a membership. Every class is the perfect mix of cardio and strength training and there are plenty of modifications to every single move. I struggle with knee injuries and I've always felt 100% supported any time I need to make an adjustment. It's really inclusive for all fitness levels/ages/etc. Katie and Matt are both super knowledgeable and friendly and really make each session not only a great full-body workout but also SO FUN. I usually am counting down the minutes when I workout on my own but I never find myself doing that at Progress. Can't wait to keep coming back! P.S. They also have great showers that are big enough to change in and they provide soap/shampoo/etc. AND towels!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a place that would tailor workouts to me, give me a challenge and inspire me, and not be boring. I found all of that and more at Progress. The instructors are well versed in all things strength, health, wellness, and kinesiology. They can modify any exercise a dozen ways to meet your unique needs. And, the culture and vibe of the studio is so welcoming (and beautifully designed, I might add). I was a quick convert after my 21-day trial and have loved the community I've joined.

Fantastic experience: Progress studio makes me feel comfortable with setting and pursuing my own fitness goals. The coaches give great individualized support in every class. Turns out I’ve been doing squats incorrectly for years and now already have much better form after a few weeks of training with Progress. If you are looking for a class that will keep you motivated throughout your fitness journey, definitely give Progress a try!

Fantastic experience: This studio is such a gem! The instructors are wonderful and the work out is challenging but covers a full body work out, including cardio and strength. 100% recommend checking it out!

Fantastic experience: Katie and Matt are true gems and the community they are creating is incredibly welcoming and inclusive. I took my first class with them recently, after moving to the area, and have felt like part of the crew since day one. It has been three years since I have done a group workout and not only do I feel supported by the trainers but also my fellow classmates - I'm happy I found them and am excited to make them my "home gym"! Thanks for being rockstars, Katie and Matt!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this gym if you really want to change your body composition and/or just have some camaraderie when working out! Katie and Matt do an excellent job of meeting you where you’re at in your fitness journey and providing just the right amount of challenge to keep you engaged and keep your body working. The equipment is great and the people make it. Don’t sleep on the Target sessions especially if you’re more advanced, they’re truly amazing and a great compliment for my running!

Fantastic experience: Try a class! The atmosphere at the studio is welcoming, supportive and accepting. Workouts are challenging and the trainers do a great job at keeping them fresh and offering many different styles. Social events are also offered which makes Progress different from other studios and creates a community of people who value fitness and fun.

Fantastic experience: Progress is unlike any other workout studio you've ever been to. The classes have just the right amount of variability to keep things interesting while still encouraging you to work on form and functional basics. The team in the studio are some of the most patient and kind people you'll ever meet and they are wonderful at customizing workouts to your individual needs even in a group setting! No matter what your goal is, Progress Studio will help you reach it and then celebrate at happy hour!

Fantastic experience: The studio has a great structure for all the classes. All of the instructors keeps everyone engaged for all fitness levels. They are creating a community through social events and workshops. There was recently a tie dye event which was so fun!

Fantastic experience: Progress is an all-around amazing place to work out. The staff is extremely knowledgable and dedicated to safety, while providing challenging and unique workouts that make you want to go back for more. I have never felt comfortable in the weight room at a traditional gym, so Progress has been a wonderful opportunity for me to begin my strength training journey. I cannot recommend this gym enough!

Fantastic experience: Progress Studio is an excellent place to work on reaching and maintaining your fitness goals! The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and provide a safe, supportive atmosphere. Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to a variety of workout studios and gyms in Charlottesville and this is by far the best! The trainers are injury-conscious and happy to provide equally challenging modifications if there’s an exercise that doesn’t work for you, which is so hard to find. The workouts are so thorough and really focus on muscles that are important for full physical fitness instead of just glamour muscles. They are also great at making sure that you are performing exercises correctly and I love that I can tell how much they value overall wellness. I can’t say enough about how great my experience at Progress has been. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: I love working out at Progress Studio! The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and pay close attention to each client to make sure you are getting the best workout possible and not hurting yourself in any way. They are always happy to provide modifications for any moves that you struggle with and work with you to improve specific areas of weakness. The small group classes combine all the best aspects of personal training and group exercise, and people are super friendly here!

Fantastic experience: Great space and location with good street parking. Throughout the workout I thought a few times “I could do this at home” but the reality is I would never push myself from home. The trainers corrected our form often and encouraged well with music and a timer. I’m definitely going to do the 3 week special offer

Fantastic experience: Progress Studio is for anyone looking to get strong and gain confidence in themselves. Katie and Matt meet you where you are and help challenge you at your fitness level, so you're guaranteed a good workout regardless of whether it's your first time or 100th. They also listen to what other activities you are into outside of the studio to make sure they are providing you with a well-rounded workout to support your whole lifestyle. I can't recommend Progress Studio enough!

Fantastic experience: My experience working out with progress studio has been incredibly positive. I enjoy the variety of workout classes offered and the ability to scale up or down in intensity. There is a sense of community which makes coming to the workouts fun and I truly enjoy meeting new people. The studio is in a great location as well! Katie and Matt are knowledgeable and experienced instructors. I always leave feeling like I got a great workout!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality Progress studio is full of a variety of classes that challenge your body, while also focusing on the active recovery process of working out. Katie is awesome at communicating the effectiveness of each workout, but also the correct form in which to do it. HIGHLY recommend visiting and trying out a class or two.
