The Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission strives to provide quality recreation and aging services to the citizens of Lexington County. We offer a variety of programs and services for all ages, abilities, and interests. Our goal is to promote healthy lifestyles, encourage community involvement, and enrich the lives of our citizens.
The Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center is a state-of-the-art facility that features a 1000 sq. ft. clubhouse, a 2400 sq. ft. fitness center, and a patio with views of the stadium court. The facility also offers WiFi throughout the entire facility, men's and women's locker rooms with showers, a VIP conference room, and a catering kitchen. The pro shop is fully stocked with state-of-the-art stringing equipment.
We offer 30 lighted world-class courts, including a championship-sized stadium court that can accommodate approximately 500 people. We also have seven dedicated 38' courts for 8&Under Tennis. All of our courts come complete with small central gazebos, iced water coolers, and trash receptacles. Plus, we offer electrical outlets on every court for ball-machine use.
: The weight room and cardio training areas at the gym include 21 fat-shredding true cardio machines, 11 Cybex VR1 workout machines, dumbbells ranging from 2.5 to 60 pounds, and benches. The cost of a membership is $175 per year and includes access to towels, showers, and locker rooms. An orientation is required for all new members.

Amr Elwarak is the Head Tennis Professional at the USPTA, PTR, ITF and Nick Bollettieri Certified. Stan Seabrook is a Teaching Professional at PTR 11-17 - PTR Adult Development. Ron Shelton is a Teaching Professional at PTR 10 & Under - PTR 11-17 and PTR Adult Development. He is also USPTA Certified.
The Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center offers instruction, leagues, and other tennis-related activities. The center's staff is composed of certified professionals who can help you improve your game. The pro shop sells equipment and apparel, and the USTA website provides information on upcoming events. The LATA website is another great resource for tennis players in the area. Fantastic experience: The Cacye Tennis & Fitness Center is located just off of I-77 south at exit 2. The parking area is very large and well maintained. Once inside I was struck by the how clean the entire building is kept. I have belonged to many gyms over the years and, by far, this is cleanest gym ever. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. My wife and I are new members. We were given a through orientation before our first workout. If we looked as though we were having an issue setting a machine up properly a staff member was there to assist. There is a tennis pro shop across the hall from the gym area and multiple tennis courts available. This is an update to the above review. It is still very accurate. I will add that the restroom and shower area are also very clean.

They're open longer, they keep the courts and everything else in excellent condition, and run a Tuesday tennis program at 6 PM that's easy to participate in at a ridiculously low price. It's even fun to watch the ease with which some good players get every ball - even some kids. Yikes, when will I learn to play like that?
