Fantastic experience: During the summer I enjoyed the mass amounts of people who were of great company. The staff exceeded my expectations of professionalism and customer service. This facility is able to accomodate everyones fitness level with quality, modern equipment. There is a consistent and pleasant atmosphere. If you plan to go swimming it would be wise to bring soap due to the mass amount of people who go swimming in the pool, and not to meniton the chlorine levels are rather concentrated.

Fantastic experience: There’s so much to do. Swimming is always so fun here! Great clean locker rooms. Sauna, hot tub, water slides, rock climbing walls, gym, basketball, volleyball, indoor track and so much more! They have free life jackets for kids to use. Pretty much everything you could possibly need in one place. At the beginning of the year (January I believe) you can get a year long membership for really cheap, a way better deal that a regular gym in town!

Fantastic experience: This is the nicest rec center I have ever seen! We were on a long road trip with our 14 month old and scheduled a break in Gillette for an hour or so and I’m glad we did. It was $12 for two day passes and the baby was free. There was a tot swim time going on and our baby loved it. The lifeguards were incredibly vigilant and the facilities were immaculate. The swim area is so cute. I wish we lived closer, I would take my daughter here all the time.

Fantastic experience: I worked as a lifeguard here since I was 15-16 and supervised for 4-ish years until I found a full-time job. You won't find many other pools in the state kept so clean, Kay held us to very high standards! The lifeguards are generally very knowledgeable, we had consistent in-service training focusing on performing rescues and reacting to emergencies. The lifeguards who don't know so much are usually new hires still learning all the rules and how we do things. I know a lot of people were frustrated with the hot tub issues a few years ago, and trust me, so we're we. It was an everyday battle. I routinely come to workout on the gym side, and it's always a good experience. Equipment is kept clean and well maintained. There are a ton of options, and while I don't know all the classes available except the several different water aerobics classes, I know there are a lot. The rec organized sports are great, too. My niece loves playing soccer, and there are some adult sports as well. Overall, this is a great facility, and I'm really glad Gillette is so fortunate to have it. Really enjoyed working here and appreciate everything Kay and Makayla did for me. Also, I adore Wanda. Cannot stress that enough.

Fantastic experience: They have just about everything. $6 for an all day pass. Clean. Water bottle fill fountains. Bring your own lock and use a locker for free. No complaints.

Fantastic experience: My family was in town for the National High School Rodeo Finals and we completely enjoyed the amenities of this facility! We will be back next year!

Fantastic experience: Went for a birthday party. Always clean and plenty of room for us. They have been doing free swim this summer so it even made the party price nice. The whole facility is nice, clean. Though there are still parts I have yet to see and obviously won't for some places haha. They seem to just be getting better. There is always something new and the website is really easy to navigate to find activities and hours. They also usually have pamphlets at the door of everything the have. Activities for all ages.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. All the exercise equipment you could ever want. Mostly come for the hot tub and sauna experience.

Fantastic experience: I was a custodial supervisor for 15 yrs and head custodian for 6months at the rec center. I absolutely loved my Job while there. It's hard to explain or to put into words. But it's one of the best places to work. The staff is just awesome! I won't get Into the details. But I owe the rec center my life. Over 20yrs ago they took a chance and hired me. That one decision not only changed my life, it helped save it. I can never thank them enough for everything. The best part is neither the staff or myself knew just how much they were helping me. All because one person took a chance and choose to believe in me.

Fantastic experience: Great place. So far the three times we have come have been to swim. Excellent prices. Excited to try more things there. And the staff has always been so nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Cost 13 bucks to go swimming w 2 kids and myself. Lots of lifeguards and enjoyed the lazy river diving boards and deep pool.

Fantastic experience: A life guard at the city pool told us about this place. It was absolutely amazing and the kids had so much fun (so did the adults)! Very friendly staff, GREAT price for a family, and just an altogether enjoyable experience!

Fantastic experience: Great place to bring the family. Lots of stuff to do. My kids love the pool and even were able to try the climbing wall. We just signed them up for soccer so we will see how their programs do. My only criticism is the swimming lessons seem a little unorganized. They gave my daughter a report card at the end of it but only filled half of it out and didn’t inform us if she was ready for the next level or not.

Fantastic experience: The pool here is amazing. 2 water slides, a high dive, a huge spa, a lazy river with splash zone for littles... this is a great afternoon waiting to happen.

Fantastic experience: All around place to be both during winter and summer hours. Clean and friendly environment. You can go from a nice run, to a good pump on the weights, to the sauna and then a great shower all within the same building.

Fantastic experience: We have lived in Snohomish county WA for 35 years. We spent 15 months in Gillette in 2013 and 2014. We have lived in Utah, Indianappolis, Atlanta, Houston, Hartford, Corpus Christi, Spartanburg, and others. We have never seen a rec center to compare with this one. It stands head and shoulders above even the 2nd best. As seniors, we could walk in and play indoor tennis for free. We had to leave a $1 deposit if we need a racquet or balls. Same for racquet ball. I think they have 8 basketball courts, 3 large swimming pools including an amazing year-round water park with a lazy river and a great 4-story slide. A great climbing wall! They have saunas and a huge hot tub. Two large weight lifting rooms, an indoor track for walking and running. Everything required for high-school track and field meets including pole vaulting and everything. They take care of your children. I don't know if that is free or not. If you are a senior and are going through Gillette. stop in. They will treat you like a local resident and make everything available to you for free. You will have to pay for non-seniors but it is very reasonable for non members. I think the senior age is 62. Family memberships are a bit expensive but how could you live there without it?

Fantastic experience: Fun for the kiddos and just a day pass is a few bucks. It looks like the annual membership is pretty high. It has basketball, pool, gym, and is overall nice.

Fantastic experience: Awesome facility and the staff are the friendliest! Prices are reasonable, I travel often so I get the 20 visits for like $85, well worth the price. I just got my Belay Certification so looking forward to getting some practice in, but overall this is an awesome place to relax or get a great workout!

Fantastic experience: Such a great place to take the kids, and the price is perfect!. A whole day's fun and you spend less than $20 (depending on the size of your family and what activities you want to do.) Also, great for Birthday parties!

Fantastic experience: This was a really nice place to go. My family and I had a blast in the indoor water park. The prices are very affordable I believe we only paid $13 for a family of 4. Military discount provided. Very clean well handled business.

Fantastic experience: We were in town for several days and took advantage of the weight room, climbing wall, and pool a couple times. The staff was great! I'd really like to acknowledge the encouraging climbing wall staff. They worked well with my 12 year old. The facility was also very clean and well kept.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility. Waterpark pools & slide, fun for the whole family. The yoga classes are great, the exercise & fitness equipment are 1st rate, well spread out, no crowding waiting, plenty of equipment. Friendly staff, very clean facilities, showers & locker area also clean. I'll return again for pleasure & workout when visiting family here. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Love this place. Sucks that the prices keep getting higher and higher every year but the selection of activities is awesome and you're never short of fun things to do. Could spend an entire day here and never get bored! Water walking in the early AM is super fun. Kids swimming is great. Swimming classes, basketball, track, tanning... all great things!

Fantastic experience: If you don't use CCPRD you are making a poor choice. It really is that simple, even if you are a private facility member dedicated to fitness this place is just such an amazing facility at such a great value. The staff is great and the MAINTENANCE staff take great care of this building. I am quite sure they are not recognized well enough for the work they do when the rest of us are sleeping

Fantastic experience: Huge pool! Family area has a great "lazy river" with several different paths. Two slides, one for inner tubes and one without. Hot tub is restricted to over 16, so not crowded. Large separate lap pool and a tall high dive. I'm so glad our hotel didn't have a pool so we came here!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful facility and I can't think of any exercise or court game they don't have. I especially like the Lazy River walk. Everything is well organized and arranged, lots of room to breathe!

Fantastic experience: Perhaps the best county recreation center I've ever been to. With the exception of a few undisciplined teens running around like wild hyenas (I blame the parents, NOT the rec center...), the staff and facilities far exceeded my expectations. If you could teach parental lessons on how to control your children, this place would be perfect! Thank you!
