Run City at Ellicott Square Fitness

Negative experience: Looks pretty cool! But, I guess they aren't accepting new members or doesn't seem like it? My bf has tried texting/calling for a tour and signup to no avail. I guess we'll be taking up cross fit.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I found this gym! There are times I like to get in an early workout before a busy day, and many other gyms don’t open until 5:30 or later. The environment here is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. Being downtown makes it super convenient, with no long commute. I also love that almost everyone I’ve seen actually works out — no worrying about people hogging equipment while scrolling on their phones. I really appreciate the low-key vibe too; it’s perfect for avoiding crowded, hectic gyms. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: This placenive attended for over 10 years It has really changed since Run Fitness took over. It's 24 hour low key spot that has just what you need to train develop and condition your body

Fantastic experience: Never packed, I’ve never had to wait for equipment. Has the essentials for weight training. More suited for runners and open 24/7!

Negative experience: My fiancé and i haven’t lived in New York for the past 3 months, but his account is still getting charged. i cancelled our memberships, but for some reason only one was still being charged. i spoke to the owner/ whoever is in charge and was told we were gonna get a refund and cancellation. but then we got charged again and i messaged again about it and was told we will receive the refund and cancellation, but still haven’t received the refund… it’s almost the 1st and i’m afraid we are going to be charged again and times are rough right now. we don’t have money to waste on things we don’t even use. don’t even bother sending the refund, we have to order a new card so you guys don’t charge us for nothing. and because of all of this, i give 2 stars. In response to the reply back: obviously not since we were charged. so no thanks, we’ve contacted you. best wishes.

Fantastic experience: Pre-covid I was an active member usually 4 days a week. The facility has transformed into an excellent place to workout with great new equipment - extremely professional interactions with staff! Looking forward to getting back!

Fantastic experience: Used this Gym prior to Covid and always had a great time. Equipment was well kept and tidy, and everyone that I met was always friendly. After I had a vocational change I had to cancel my membership, but will definitely be back as soon as I can.

I recently rejoined the gym and was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of new equipment, and that there are now classes available for running - plenty of stregnth equipment is available, and the location is open 24 hours a day! The place is always clean, and there are televisions and mirrors everywhere - Awesome gym!

Fantastic experience: I live and work downtown, and this gym has been an incredible asset for me. It has all the standard equipment and machines required for cardio and strength training, all in good condition. It’s 24 hours, so I can drop in any time of day or night as my schedule permits. I park in the Adam’s ramp I use for work a block away, walk a block, and pop in the street access door using the key fob. Highly recommend for anyone living and or working downtown. Thanks for giving us this option Brian, much appreciated!
