Crunch Fitness - East Brunswick

Fantastic experience: Denae was working the front desk and John was maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. Both staff members were super friendly and professional. They created a great atmosphere. Denae made sure to take the time to greet us and accommodate our needs; and John was keeping the facility in pristine shape to achieve maximum cleanliness. Great gym and staff ! I always feel welcomed here.

Fantastic experience: Facility is decent but weekend hours of operation could improve (closes really early on Saturday for a late afternoon endurance workout ️‍♀️)

Fantastic experience: The staff is super friendly and the facility is very clean and well maintained. All these complaints about it being busy, well duh it's a commercial gym on a highway I've been to other Crunch's in the area and EB is still my fave.

I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who likes a clean gym and fun classes. The employees are great! They always acknowledge when you come and go and whenever I have questions they are very helpful!

Fantastic experience: I have been to other Crunch Fitness Location and this is hands down my favorite. This location is clean and the staff is always ready to help. The General Manager “Jessica” is going great running this gym.

Positive experience: This facility is incredibly well maintained, the equipment is fantastic, and the space is amazing. From a gym specific perspective, there is nearly nothing more I can ask for. The trainers, front desk associates, and cleaning individuals always have a great demeanor and are so friendly. My only issue with this location is how poor the locker rooms are. The changing area is very small. The showers are small and the water pressure is horrible. The bathrooms are often neglected. There isn’t even a coat rack that comes in handy during the winter months. If the locker rooms were even average this gym would be a five star rating for me

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Brand new equipment and they seem to keep them in great condition. It gets busy but there is so much equipment you won't have to worry. I'd say by far its the best gym in East Brunswick.

Positive experience: I love this gym and I have made tons of growth here. Great variety of equipment and has a good environment of people. What I really don’t like is the amount people coming / working out with no mask while there’s clear signs all over saying to do so. I’m mostly here in the evening. The front desk people or trainers aren’t doing anything about as people get more and more comfortable without one. We’re in the middle of a surge of an ongoing almost 3 year pandemic. This needs to be taken more seriously.

Fantastic experience: It is my 2nd week after joining Crunch at East Brunswick but I had membership at another local gym before COVID19 lockdown. Having that experience, this facility deserves a 5 star on many aspects - be it cleanliness, upkeep of exercise machines and helpful staff. I found the complementary assessment session to be useful and signed up for some additional paid sessions with a trainer here. The facility was not crowded during my weekend-morning and a few other evening visits. So far so good.

Fantastic experience: The gym is typically clean, but very rarely organized. There’s usually weights and equipment throughout the gym, so sometimes you may have to search. The staff is also super nice and friendly! Lastly to touch on classes, I would recommend spin with Joe and any of the HIIT classes! Carly, Carolyn, Joe, Stephanie, and Zach are incredible trainers and make it super fun.

Fantastic experience: Although there was another review about them not opening on time, I've called multiple times and talked about my membership transferring from my old gym that partnered and specifically about opening day, and they said they got delayed with an inspection or something. The communication so far is great and I'm excited for when they do actually open

Fantastic experience: My wife joined for a great price and I go as her guest. Great equipment and laid back crowd. The only setback is the amount of gym goers not cleaning the equipment when they finish using it. This can be easily alleviated by carrying your own bottle of disinfectant that the gym supplies in plenty! A must go for the beginner or self-imposed professional.

Fantastic experience: If I could give infinity stars I would!! I started my membership with crunch 5 months ago. I’ve been to their gyms in other towns in Jersey and even Florida and Texas. The East Brunswick location is by far my favorite of all! Not only their machines and weights are great and well maintained, but the gym is spotless with their cleaning! You’ll always see someone cleaning up everywhere you go and it’s awesome! A shout out to my favorite instructors: Zach, Michelle and Carolyn with HIIT (I’m telling you!! First time I did their classes, I though I would have heart attack. I still think I will but I’m in much better shape because of them). Joe and Vicky with spinning, boy, I’m always smiling and after their classes, for some reason, I have more energy than when I walked in, it’s crazy! Yoga, 360 with Edgar it’s fun and relaxing!! So many goods things I have to say about this gym… I’ll be moving by the end of October and I’m already homesick from all I have learned from them! This is the first time in my life (and I’m 28 years old) that I can define myself as a fitness person and I own all that to this Crunch location ❤️

Fantastic experience: Clean gym that has all the equipment you'd need, including deadlift platforms and squat racks with bumper plates. Will be crowded during peak hours and you'll usually have to wait for a rack or benchpress, but can't fault the gym for having lots of members. Efficient gym that gets the job done for the price.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Quality This gym is beautiful! All new equipment, nice floors, nice lighting, plenty of treadmills and stair steppers. Really liked the squat rack areas. They are waiting on a few remaining pieces of equipment but this is the nicest gym in the area.

Fantastic experience: Went for opening day and the gym was great. Lots of free weights, 3 squat racks, plenty of cardio and HIIT equipment, as well as lots of space between machines allowing you to workout without feeling crowded. Has everything you need and more. Definitely recommend it for only $10 a month with yearly contract. I transferred from Jersey Strong because it was $30 a month and Crunch seems to be a better gym at 1/3 of the price.

Fantastic experience: I really like this gym, they offer a lot of classes, and also, it looks clean , they have products to clean the machine after you used it. The staff are friendly. I enjoy my time over there
