Fantastic experience: Visiting from out of town and reached out to Vicente to use the gym. He was super accommodating and gave us a great workout, good vibes, and a positive attitude. The gym is big, spacious, clean, with plenty of workout classes/bootcamps available.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with lots of equipment! The old school equipment is even better. Not that crowded which makes it’s amazing because I can use anything and everything.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for over 5 months now and never want to go anywhere else. During the week after 5pm is somewhat crowded but I still find space to work out comfortably. I've always wanted that raw iron gym feeling and this is fits the description. Great place, cool owner, and good vibes.

Fantastic experience: Everything you need to GSD! The staff is professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The atmosphere is motivating and supportive like family. It’s a great spot whether you’re just starting out or already advanced. Highly recommend if you want to focus, stay motivated and put in the work.

Negative experience: Atmosphere was good and lots a space to do your workouts. Only reason I’m giving it two stars is the fact that after two and half months after cancelling, my card keeps getting charged for both my wife and I. The first month after canceling I did get a refund. The second month I got in touch with the gym owner again but has failed to resolve the issue 2 weeks prior to the charge. However it’s very inconvenient to be charged for a service two months after canceling. Been to almost every gym in Brownsville both CrossFit and conventional without this issue. I support small businesses and am very understanding always recommend to give them a try but if I am contacting you and you are giving me your word that the issue will be resolved and you fail to do so I lose respect and the trust Don’t need the money or the issue to be resolved at this point just going to have to cancel my card and move forward.

I recently joined his online program that has been great so far, but I always still make time to stop in whenever I am visiting town. Fantastic experience: Joined this gym so I could get fit, The gym is clean, the equipment is modern, and the mirrors are brutally honest. I walked in thinking I was in decent shape—it took about 20 minutes into my first class for me to realize that I had a long way to go. The staff is super friendly, almost suspiciously so. They smile while you suffer, which I can only assume is part of their cardio routine. I hired Kristin thinking it would be a gentle nudge back into fitness. Instead, I got a smiling assassin with a stopwatch. Every session begins with a warm-up that feels like the Hunger Games and ends with me questioning every life decision that led me here. But I’ll be honest—I've never felt better, looked stronger, or sweatier in my life. Highly recommend if you want results, accountability, and a trainer who really cares about her clients and pushes you towards your goals. Kristin has 16 years of experience and works with clients of all fitness levels. She will always greet you with a smile and put your fitness needs first. Overall, highly recommend—whether you're trying to bulk up, slim down, or just hide from adulthood for an hour a day. Bring water, a towel, and a will to survive.

Fantastic experience: Alpha Fitness! Truly a great place not just to work out, but to belong! One of those gyms where you don’t need to wear headphones because people are going to greet you and say hi as they walk by. What a great feeling. Vicente is super nice, more than welcoming and takes care of his peeps! Fantastic experience: Best decision I made this year was to switch to Alpha Fitness. The level of training and experience is unmatched to any of my other previous training. I love the old school gym feel that focuses more on results and not fancy overpriced gimmicks . My Alpha family motivates and pushes me while also always keeping me laughing ! Who says training has to be boring? I definitely recommend trying Alpha if you are looking for actual results.

The owner has always been kind to me and he always says hi to his customers. I really like how he pushes his customers to do the best, encourages us to have a better lifestyle and celebrates everyone's progress. The gym schedule is composed by a variety of challenging classes that are 100% worth it. The gym overall has a great atmosphere. I do recommend Alpha fitness!!!
