If you came to this site expecting to find a regular gym, you are in the wrong place. Fitness 54 is much more than that. With two pools, classes, racquetball and Pickleball courts, we have more amenities than any other health club in the Atlanta area, and at the best prices. We also have Personal Training and a Nutritionist on site.

The owners of Fitness 54, J.D. and Varner Holmes, started in the health club business in 1989 with a facility called Club Peachtree Fitness Center. It was a small place in 3600 square feet of a strip mall, but it ourgrew that location very quickly; and by 1993 J.D. and Varner had built a brand new 20,000 square-foot building, complete with swimming pool and racquetball courts.

The club's success was partly due to their "Pay-by-the-Month" memberships, which were new to Fayette County at the time. This protected members from losing money if the gym closed.

J.D. and Varner want to make sure that the Fitness 54 members have the same great experience as the Club Peachtree members. They are always innovating to make the membership more affordable and convenient, like their new no-commitment, low-price membership in a newly-remodeled facility.
