Jeison, lifting weights is what happens at a gym. It is how you build muscle. AND you are not even member or guest of our gym.
Negative experience: The inside pool and pool deck are nasty. All of the mats have mold underneath them. There is dirt everywhere else. I was scared of getting an infection. Some people got in the pool with socks on!! It was just gross!
Kelly, we cannot find you as a member, a former member, or even a guest of a member of Fitness 54. We think you are a competitor, because our pool area is always clean. And the "socks" you refer to are "water shoes" for people with tender feet.
We are regularly inspected by the health department, and always pass. Our pool chemicals are checked twice daily.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for an inexpensive gym in Peachtree City, Fitness 54 is it! All gyms have machines, but this gym has the most fun classes around. They have a Barre class that is unique and different, taught by a former competitive dancer and every class is different! . They have an indoor heated swimming pool and all the classes are fun and different. I hate machines, but they have lots of them too. Three cheers for Tonika! . I love this gym!

Fantastic experience: My favorite location for lap swimming, no children are lap swimming, but there are swimming lessons for children in summer. The men's locker room was recently renovated after a fire in December 2024. At owak times it dan get cramped quickly. The sauna is an infrared three person cabinet. Very friendly staff and members are relaxed and friendly. You will need to bring your own towels. Jacuzzi is very large, holding 8-10 adults. Great value for the money, as they accept Silver Sneakers members under Medicare. An added bonus!

Negative experience: Pool water make be break out in hives. Nasty
I'm sorry about your rash, but it is unlikely caused by our pool water. You have been a member for many years without issues, and no one else has complained. Our pool is inspected every two days by a trusted company, and annually by the County.
Fantastic experience: I love going to this gym. The staff is incredibly friendly and has all of the equipment I need. The place is extremely organized. I am fortunate I can go on off hours between 8:00-11:00am and the gym is never crowded. Highly recommend!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. We recently moved to Georgia and I am so glad I found this gym. It is still one of those gyms where you feel part of a family. It is not perfect, few things in the women's dressing rooms look old and outdated . However it is clean. Very important. The classes are great. Love it!

Negative experience: Came in to try this gym after years of not living in the area. Front desk employee looked like he hadn’t showered and had food on him. Argued with me about nothing and everything. Talked to the manager… he seemed like he couldn’t care less. The reply to this is not true at all. I remarked that it is illegal to copy id cards, as I signed the paper and pulled out my license. The initial argument started because the employee kept telling me he hadn’t seen a guest pass before… at a gym. Then told me he hadn’t heard of Active and Fit. Then when I started to explain to him that it’s a group exercise network he started arguing that it’s actually insurance. Again, he argued about everything and anything he could find.
Robert, you got mad because we require everyone who enters our facility to have a driver’s license copy on file. This is to protect our members. You did not want to comply and were thus not allowed to enter. Perhaps another gym will allow you to work out anonymously.
Positive experience: This gym is a good place to do workouts for less than a dollar per day. They renovated the gym well, and the placement of the equipment is organized well now. It has indoor and outdoor pools, studios, a couple of saunas, squash, and shower rooms with locker facilities.
Rux, we certainly understand your frustration with the slow pace of our restoration after the December 23rd fire. We apologize for the delay. The insurance company sent their FIRST check last Thursday, May 9th (4 1/2 months!). Up to this point, the general contractor has been doing what he could, but finally ran out of working capital. Now, they can get moving on the remodel.

Fantastic experience: The human touch is alive and well here! Your only other option nearby is 1LifeFitness and the people working there are unkind, insincere and rude. It's your choice and a reflection of your own self worth where you choose to exercise...seems like an easy choice to me!

Negative experience: Worst Gym ever. I don't recommend it to anyone. Horrible experience. The owner kicked me out of my working routine. Just because his buddy wanted to use the machine I was using and he only did one set . The gym was completely empty, and they had another machine similar. On top of that. Their bathrooms are stinky and disgusting. Please go somewhere else.
You sat on that one Leg Curl machine for over 20 minutes with your cellphone, and would not allow anyone else use it. Proper gym etiquette allows others to work in between sets. You continued to refuse to do that, so I asked you to leave.
Negative experience: Locker room needs to be cleaned more often. Since the fire, the men's locker has shrunk, urinals are only for giants, toilet stall have no room at all and suana is a joke
Joseph, you are not even a member of Fitness 54. Cleanliness is extremely important to us. Our members say we do an excellent job of staying on top. You review is too general for us to correct. If you have any specific observations that will help us, please tell the front desk so that we may correct it immediately.
Negative experience: My last visit in pool had bugs and some gross stuff floating stuff all around me. I thought I was going to vomit. I will not be coming back. I'm so sorry.

Fantastic experience: I've been to a lot of gyms ️♀️ in my time. But this is by far the best. From the pool.. hot tube..sauna. The classes and equipment. And the price! Oh and the military discount.... oh And the bring a guest... could go on and on. Then there's the staff .

Fantastic experience: I love my gym! The fees are very reasonable and the staff is friendly and supportive. When you walk in it’s like that old show, Cheers - everyone knows your name! I have already lost 10 pounds thanks to my awesome personal trainer, Scott Christopher. He also offers nutritional counseling which has helped me immensely. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub, yoga studio and racquetball courts. They even have a massage therapist on staff. This is the first gym that is actually fun and enjoyable for me.

Fantastic experience: I have never been a gym rat....... BUT this place is awesome! Not like the other meat market kinda gyms...(you know what I mean so don't get crazy on me) I also love the hot tub ,indoor pool and dry sauna.(new heater...prepare to COOK yourself haha.) Last night I played racket ball and loved it...they provided everything! I can't wait to play pickleball, also their outdoor pool is gorgeous. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean environment. It is like being part of a very supportive family. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. All the usual workout equipment, machines, apparatus, spaces and all in great working condition. My neurologist works out here, as do many people of all ages, from high school to college to adults of all ages and conditioning levels. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. Secure lockers and sauna. And the kindest drill-sergeant coaches you need.

Fantastic experience: When you walk in there’s no need to pretend. Everyone is there to do “a thing”! I love the atmosphere and the cleanliness. Without anyone having to say it, once you’re done working on a particular equipment you just disinfect it so that the person coming behind/after feels secure/safe in the fact that the machine is ready and germs/bacteria isn’t being transferred! We have been members since 2017, so we’re in it for the long haul. Some gyms can be intimidating not this one. A warm, welcoming, someone nearby to assist just in case atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: As one of the owners of this gym I know we are a wonderful place to work out. We have an exceptional staff, great equipment, are the only gym with racquetball courts , an indoor and outdoor pool, and pickleball courts. Positive experience: The equipment is decent. They don’t have an actual squat rack/cage which is a pain. They continue to decrease the hours open. First they began closing an hour earlier on weekdays. Then they chopped an hour off on Saturdays. Then Fridays. On a couple occasions I have showed up to find the gym closed during normal hours for various reasons not previously disclosed on Facebook or online (I.e. a Christmas party).
Hayden, we are sorry that you had a disappointing experience. As with many businesses, we have encountered staffing problems. We are in much better shape now, and are so proud of all our employees.
Fantastic experience: After signing up for gym membership, Dana G. was my fitness instructor over the last several months. She was encouraging and knowledgeable and helped me maximize the use of the equipment for my personal benefit. I highly recommend her as a personal trainer.

Positive experience: Gym equipment: 5 Staff: 5- friendly and accommodating ( Ms. Jennie, Kim and Payet ) Cleanliness: 4 - accessibility of cleaning/disinfecting kit should be available in all prime areas. Facilities: 5 - really worthy on what u paid. Gym members: very friendly Gym Closing time: 3- they close early as for the weekends at 6pm, 9 pm during weekdays. I hope the management would consider atleast extending the opening hours till 11pm. Overall : 4

Negative experience: The gym is nice overall, but, I'm not sure how it is in the men's bathroom, in the women's bathroom, the showers are disgusting. Mold, hair, and black stains all over the floor. Also, the extra room that was built for the new classes wasn't planned out very well. Its still too small and for the people who have a VIP membership, you have to call in to reserve your place. If you have a VIP membership, you shouldn't have to call, it's your right to go to the class regardless. And if its too crowded, add more classes. There aren't any on Sunday (most people don't go to church anyway).
Reviews like this is one way we learn what to improve on, Laura. We know it's been years since you wrote this, and things have changed within the restroom upkeep especially. Our bathrooms and facility are kept clean and continually sanitized to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients. We'd love another chance to impress you.
Positive experience: I love this gym. I’ve been a member there several different times. The staff is wonderful. They’re all very helpful and nice. I love the instructors that teach the classes. I signed up this last time for only 6 months because I have another commitment starting in April. 54 fitness worked with me due to my circumstances. They were very understanding. I also signed up for the 180 personal training. My instructor Shelia was the best!! I really enjoyed each session with her. My six months ended and 180 training wants me to keep paying $160 a month even though I’m not a member any longer. I highly discourage anyone from using them because they seem very shady. If you need a trainer I would talk to Shelia or whoever you decide on, and work out something without 180 training getting involved. They now tell me they won’t charge me any longer but refuse to credit me $160. I have disputed the charge and have them blocked off my credit card. Join the gym but not 180 personal training. I would have given a 5 star rating if 180 training wasn’t involved with 54 fitness.
In between your other activities, Jeannie, we're glad you find classes that keep you in tip-top shape. Shelia really knows how to get that heart racing, but we're disappointed to see you slow down your 180 Training program. They are a separate company we hire, and they're normally known to initiate impressive results! So sorry to hear if your experience with them has been any different. That said, we still love having you in our classes. Hope to see you around now that we're open.
Fantastic experience: I have a friend who is a member there. Was allowed as a guest with him. We got a game of racketball in, I swam in the pool a few minutes, and relaxed in their jacuzzi as well. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Fantastic experience: Loving 54 Fitness!! Always considered myself not a gym person, but since joining last Sept (2018), going to the gym has become one of the most important parts of my day. I joined 54 Fitness after a total right knee replacement ambulating slowly with a walker. I came seeking help to increase my mobility and was introduced to 180 Training, Personal Trainer, Christian Sekellick. Since my time at 54 Fitness and weekly sessions with Christian, I’ve gained the confidence to walk without any devices, participate in 54 Fitness Awesome Zumba class twice a week, led by Tamie and currently preparing to participate in a Marathon. Overall I feel better and with more stamina, endurance and strength. Thanks to everyone at 54 fitness, you’re always with a smile, encouraging words and great customer service!!!

Negative experience: I would not recommend this gym as a short-term membership. I was looking to workout here until my current job’s gym opened up (about 3 months), so I ended up paying for my monthly membership, an enrollment fee, the annual gym fees, and a cancellation fee. Equipment availability is limited, ceiling tiles are pretty moldy, and I always had to wipe off equipment before and after use because staff/trainers/members wouldn’t clean it.
I know some time has passed, John, but I am disappointed you weren't fond of our gym and membership. All the details were clearly laid out before you joined us, but I apologize if any fees caught you off guard. As for our equipment, we work hard to keep everything in our gym sanitized. If there were ever a problem, I would hope you'd mention something to someone on our team. Thanks for working out with us -- best regards.

Negative experience: By far the worst training staff I've ever seen. Overpriced and did not get clients results. They were unfair and gave clients to certain trainers which causes a bad turnover rate. Do not do business with 180 training!!

Negative experience: A pretty good place to workout for a reasonable price and the staff is usually extremely friendly. Unfortunately, one of the trainers is incredibly rude. This morning I went to work out in the weight area and I was going to do some free weights so I went to the corner of the green floored section of the weight room. I was looking for the trainer since I knew he was training someone but I didn’t see him so I moved to the corner so that if he came back I wasn’t in the way. At the edge of the corner there was a kettle bell and I just moved it slightly so it wouldn’t be in my way, since I wasn’t sure if the trainer was still doing his thing. Then out of nowhere the trainer proceeds to loudly chastise me and call me inconsiderate and rude because I didn’t ask him if I could workout in that area. I proceeded to apologize and explain to him that I didn’t see him and that I thought that he moved on to another area. I would have been ok if the trainer left it that but what made me angry was when he proceeded to talk to some of the patrons that were around him about me and how I was inconsiderate and rude, and he kept at that for a solid 10-15 minutes. This was extremely unprofessional behavior and seems more akin to how a mean high schooler would react. I don’t know the trainers name, but he is the Korean one.
I am so very sorry that happened to you. It is inexcusable! The personal trainers are not employees of Fitness 54, but of a training company we employ. However, we can dictate if someone has to be replaced. I will personally take remedial action on this situation in the morning.

Fantastic experience: Love my gym! I'm a morning person and Bethea is super dependable opening up and greeting us with her smile and witty personality at 5 AM. Fantastic experience: Friendly & helpful staff & trainers. Great selection of equipment, salt plus fresh water pools indoor & outdoor. Sauna & jacuzzi in both bathrooms which also contain full showers & lounge sofa chair / couches with private TV area. Full TV's all around gym with earphone connectors. Great sanitation provided as exercise. Health certificates for critical areas kept updated. Great fellowship with new friends you will meet. Very Veteran friendly!

Negative experience: I enjoy this gym. However they are sneaky and greedy when it comes to money. We have been in Florida over a month now and we paid the $25 cancelation fee and over a month later they charged us again and added a late fee. I do not recommend this gym or company. Our family back home will be cancelling as well.

Negative experience: We attended a birthday party. the party area is all the way in the back by the outside pool. there are a lot of bushes with flowers way too close to the pool and they attract bit too many bee’s , wasps, etc for my taste. the restrooms are inside and the ladies doing their daily exercises were not at all happy about us walking around. there was no bbq area near the pool and the little gazebo was sad looking. could do with some good landscaping and paint.
Even two years later, we see feedback on our ambiance as valuable. We hope you've been back since to take a look around the facility and our party areas. Although we think our landscape creates a beautiful view for guests, we have come to accept that bees will be around the blooming flowers. We offer new pickleball courts, and our community is always welcoming to those who would like to check them out. Thank you for taking a moment to show what we could have improved in the past, and sometime down the road, we hope to impress you with the experience we offer now. Wishing you the best!

Positive experience: Good Staff and Equipment for the price. Recommendation is to not include pool access in your membership plan. No one controls access and the pool is always filled with classes ranging from water aerobics to “baby swimming” from what it looks like. I included the pool in my membership and rarely get to use it. Everything else here is on point.
Mike, I am sorry you are disappointed. Fitness 54 is open 100 hours per week. Aqua classes occupy only 15 of those hours (15%). During all classes, at least one lane is left open for lap swimmers. The baby swim classes are 2 hours per week, during which 3 lanes are available for swimming. Our aqua class schedule is posted on our website, and at the front desk.
We strive to accommodate the needs of all our members the best we can.
