Beyond Pilates

Fantastic experience: I began working with a Pilates teacher while I was recuperating from a tear in my Gluteus Medius. As an elite trail runner, it is very hard to push my body to its utmost without getting injured. I practice on a thin line between injury and great leaps in performance. The work I have been doing with my instructor has been helping to construct a strong basis for my running! I have already seen major improvements in my hip mobility and hamstring flexibility. It is now much easier for my body to take the miles I run. The teachers are well-informed and able to identify misalignments and muscle imbalances. They are adept at customizing exercises to the individual. I would strongly recommend taking some of their classes!
