Fantastic experience: Excellent value for a full-service fitness center.

Negative experience: Overpriced gym, no benefits

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, nice staff out front, and has lots of good equipment… many of the treadmills sync with my smartwatch… two barbell racks with more plate options than most places… only one bench press (not a huge deal because you can use the racks)…. Sometimes AC is cold which makes it hard to get a pump. Members typically clean equipment after use… locker rooms are typically very clean… staff cleans all equipment daily… overall positive culture at the gym… There seem to be rush hours, but that mainly affects the treadmills and not much else… the membership fees are reasonable for local residents and it’s an overall great experience.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, organize gym. The staff are very friendly, and the people that comes in are easy going people. This gym has excellent equipment, and toys to play. If you want something quiet and relax without a whole lot of noise, this is your place.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, nice equipment, not crowded. $9 for a day pass including those not from the area. I used it while visiting my brother.

Positive experience: I went to the Pelican Harbor and was turnaround stating that they were closing in 10 min at 2:50pm. I spoke with a representative in July to check on information due to the Covid situation. I wanted to find out when the the pool and other activities were open. The representative inside the Park district stated Pelican Harbor will be open from 10-1pm 2-5pm and then 6-8pm. There needs to be better communication please.

Negative experience: Watch your bank account when you cancel membership, they keep withdrawing. Its lot easier to sign up then to cancel, just like the rest.

Positive experience: Nice indoor pool and outdoor water park. Large hot tub inside. Lap pool gets a little bit busy with people playing in it instead of swimming or walking laps. Lifeguards don't always pay 100% attention. They seem more interested in talking and hanging out with friends than watching the pool.
