Gold's Gym - Cap Hill: Opinions

Fantastic experience: Joshua Rolles has helped me with my knees and back pain snd my comfort has improved.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Joshua Rolle for two and a half months. He has helped me recover from a lower back sprain I suffered five months ago. We have worked on my core endurance and I’m truly seeing results: the last two days I have been without back pain, I’m holding planks for up to one minute and fifteen seconds, and I feel way stronger. I highly recommend you to work with Joshua as your personal trainer.
Fantastic experience: Not too busy and clean. Joshua Rolle is chill, knowledgeable and helpful. It’s an effective workout that I saw improvement in only two sessions.
Fantastic experience: I've been fortunate to work out with Joshua Rolle who has been helping me to strengthen my ankle and to improve my balance and to reduce pain. He's very knowledgeable and supportive, and, over the course of a month, has helped my ankle improve to the point where I can focus on stengthing the rest of my body. I highly recommend him!
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and tons of equipment to use.
Fantastic experience: I wanted to take a moment to express my satisfaction with the progress I've made since I started working with Joshua Rolle. Before I began, I experienced limited mobility in my ankles and hips, which impacted my ability to perform certain exercises correctly and comfortably. Since we've been training, I've noticed a significant improvement in both my squat depth and overall posture. I am genuinely happy with the results I've seen thus far, and I appreciate the guidance in helping me achieve these improvements.
Fantastic experience: Gold's Gym Cap Hill is a well-equipped, clean, and friendly gym. Great variety of machines and classes, though it gets busy during peak hours. Overall, a solid place to work out in D.C.
Fantastic experience: Great service!
Fantastic experience: I started working with Joshua Rolle, a personal trainer to meet my weight loss and get back into fit shape. I also suffer from frozen shoulder and a rotator cuff syndrome in my right shoulder. I must say since working with Josh, my range of motion in the right shoulder has improved significantly. Josh will push you because he wants me to succeed at meeting my fitness goals. I would recommend booking him as your personal trainer.
Fantastic experience: My training session with Joshua was really effective at reducing my shoulder pain. I would definitely recommend working with him.
Fantastic experience: If you’re sweating the small stuff, forgetting to bring an umbrella during these sudden rainstorms Fear no further of acid rain mixing with acid rap on the leather of your car window left open. Negative experience: The equipment was nice but horrible experience with a trainer. No longer a member but a few years ago I joined this gym solely to be able to keep up with my run training in the winters. It came with a free personal training session so I thought I’d give it a go. Horrible decision. This man in skinny jeans and a cashmere sweater was dead set on getting me to squat the way he thought was best so for 45 minutes (in front of the whole gym) he had me squat. Apparently I was leaning forward and that would be dangerous for my lower back once I tried to squat any weight (I never asked for that ability). It was humiliating. Well I just learned about long femur theory. This guy was probably 5’4. I am 5’8 and have quite long legs and it’s nearly impossible for me to squat with perfectly upright top half, like he could. Very disappointing experience. Cancelled my membership as soon as it got warm enough to run outside and have been squatting just fine ever since.
Positive experience: Clean gym with dumbbells up to 120 lbs. Notable useful equipment like a heavy bag and speed bag. The power lifting section gets crowded, the dumbbell section is in a different area and is less crowded. The circuit machines are in between. Generally speaking you're gonna have to wait for a machine, bench, or rack if you go after work hours There is a sauna in the men's changing room, I'm assuming there's one in the women's as well. The staff is friendly. At $70/mo it's a great price for a gym that isn't overrun with people.
Hi Jason,
Thank you for taking time to leave us your 5-Star Review and Feedback! We value your comments as we are always looking for ways to improve the gym experience. This helps others get a great customer view! Have a great day!
Fantastic experience: A good, well equipped gym in the heart of DC
Thank you for your kind words, Erik! We're glad you find our gym well-equipped and conveniently located. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again!
Positive experience: I got a 7 day free pass, though I have a dc license which you need for a free pass I guess. Overall it's fine there's only one Olympic lifting platform which is just about the only thing l do so that's kinda a downside, but so far it's only ever been me using it so it's fine. I've been going in the mornings and it's been pretty empty whenever I get there. Haven't run into any pushy staff or anything and I enjoy just being left alone to do my own thing.
Thank you for your review, David! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your experience and found the gym to be a good fit for your routine. We appreciate your feedback regarding the Olympic lifting platform, and we'll take that under consideration. Your input helps us improve our services!
Fantastic experience: This is the best Gold's Gym in DC. It isn't as crowded as the rest and has everything you need. Shout out to the 5 am crew!
Hi Fabricio,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review, we value and appreciate your feedback as we work to ensure a great experience everyday for all members and guest!
Positive experience: Guy at the front desk is rude for no reason. Equipment is outdated and not well maintained. Not the best of the gold gym locations in the area. DuPont or Georgetown locations are better
Hi Laila,
Thank you for your review! We apologize for the less than great experience you had with our team member, we will circle back with the team to correct that. We hope to have you back in the gym soon. Have a great day!
Positive experience: This gym is conveniently located off the metro that is a plus. And if you do drive, they will validate your parking. The gym itself is very small and the equipment is older, but the locker rooms do have saunas. The plus side is it's never too crowded because people don't like to go to this gym. So if you're looking for a quick workout, this is your place.
Hi Melissa,
Thank you for your review, we look forward to having you back in the gym for a better experience. Have a great day!
Negative experience: This gym is terrible. They charge me a lot of money. They charged me $400 for two months and I don't know what the fees are. Then I want to cancel the service and they told me that I have to notify them 30 days in advance, otherwise they will continue to charge me next month. Oh, oh! It's terrible.
HI L Brian,
Thank you for for your review, as we aspire to provide the best experience for all. We do go over our cancel policy throughout the membership process and on our website. Please contact member services as we aim to get this resolved. Thank you and have a great day!
Fantastic experience: Came to Gold’s here in DC, was given great customer service by keonna, explained all the prices and was very welcoming!
Hi Homan,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review! We value and appreciate your feedback as we aspire to always provide the best experience for all guest/members. We look forward to having you back in the gym! Have a great day!
Negative experience: Bad service. Dirty gym. People have horrible attitudes. The people at the front desk should be fired.
Hi,
Thank you for your review, we appreciate and value your feedback. We apologize for a less than great experience as we aspire to always provide the best time for all. We will circle back with our team to go over best customer service practices! Thank you for your time, have a great day!
Negative experience: These other reviews are FAKE. Don't go to this gym. The people are disrespectful, it is ugly in there. Terrible Employees, that are TOO BUSY to help. They don't do anything. Bad attitudes. Bad service.
Hi,
Thank you for your review, as we apologize for the less than great experience you've had in our club! We will work with the team in efforts to correct this matter, as we aspire to always provide the best!
Negative experience: The staff and front desk members at the Gold's Gym in Capitol Hill were incredibly disrespectful and unhelpful. As a visitor from Texas who has used various Gold's Gyms in other states, I know they typically only need to call your home gym to assist you. However, the employees here refused to listen or offer any help. They were consistently arrogant, and one falsely claimed to be the manager. When I contacted other locations, I was informed that no managers were working on the 4th of July. These people need to be fired.
Hi,
Thank you for your review! We apologize for the issue that has transpired and for the less than great experience you had in our club. We are going to work with our team internally, thank you for your time! Have a great day!
Fantastic experience: Good gym equipment, just a bit too busy
Hi Max,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review! We value and appreciate your feedback! We look forward to seeing you in the gym again! Have a great day!
Fantastic experience: I’ve actually never been to a golds gym before. I only heard of them but coming here makes me wish i had one in my area in NYC. Good classic machines that gyms need, good space even tho i came on a quiet Saturday, and good staff. Brandon was very helpful. Hotel gyms don’t do it. I will be back here when i visit DC again
Hi Tohn,
Thank you for your 5 Star review! We value and appreciate your feedback as we aspire to always go above and beyond to provide our guest/members with the best experience! We look forward to having you come visit again during your next visit to DC!
Fantastic experience: Recently changed my primary gym to this location and I don’t regret! The gym has equipments in good condition and the staff is very friendly and helpful, in special Leon who has been great every time I visit.

Fantastic experience: Nice . Feels like home
Hi Cathy,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review! We take pride in keeping a clean and crisp environment for all members and guest! Have a great day!
Positive experience: Clean, well organized, and professional. Good range of equipment. Space for deadlift/compound movements limited
Hi Kalib,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review! We value and take pride in creating the best experience for all members and guest. Maintaining a clean and crispy environment for all! Have an amazing day!
Fantastic experience: Excellent facility and equipment!
Hi Trey,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review!
Fantastic experience: Smaller gym but clean and well maintained. They also have great classes during the week including Bodystep, one of the only step aerobics class in DC. Lots of fun and great cardio strength!
Hi Nora,
Thank you for your 5-Star Review! We can't wait to have you back in the gym!
Positive experience: Overall, a decent gym. Plenty of cardio machines, great locker room, good dumbbell area, decent amount of free weight equipment, although there's really only one platform to deadlift. However, they were like 10 minutes late opening up this morning which was sort of a problem because I was on a tight schedule. On top of that when he finally unlocked, there were two homeless guys in there hanging out and they had all their bags with them. Very weird vibe.
Hi Ben,
Thank you for your review, we apologize for the inconvenience as we understand how frustrating that be. We have spoken with our team internally in hopes to provide a better experience on your next visit. Thanks again!
Negative experience: They wouldn’t honor the 1 week free pass because I didn’t live here. I’m here a lot for work but that didn’t matter.
Hi Jesse,
Thank you for leaving you review, as we would like to apologize for the inconvenience. We do require local ID's for the free passes. Have a great day!
Negative experience: The gym was well maintained and the staff was nice but leaving was a nightmare. The process for leaving is frustrating and once I did leave I got a letter from collections saying I hadn't paid for several months when I was told by staff that I was done. If you enlist and leave make sure you keep all the emails and are communicating.
Hi Pablo, thank you for your feedback and we apologize for the inconvenience. We would like to get this resolved and no longer have this as an ongoing matter. Please email us directly at [email protected], we look forward to speaking with you soon.
Negative experience: The gym is just fine but if you’re an elliptical lover, or you have bad knees but you need cardio, go to the DuPont location. Understandably, that location is newer and larger but to be honest, I don’t care about the bells and whistles, I like the ellipticals and I’m willing to go to the gym that has good ones. My suggestions is that this location remove the old ellipticals and replace with newer ones. I would give it a 5/5. I literally take 2 trains or walk 3 miles just to go to the DuPont location just so I can get on the ellipticals! The staff at both locations are nice.
Hi, thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate it! We apologize your experience didn’t match your expectations. We'll reach out to our team at this location so we can make sure your next experience with us is up to the Gold's Standard. If you wish to reach out personally please email: [email protected]
Positive experience: It's a normal gym; they could have a bit more of the equipment I like, but that'd mean less of equipment somebody else likes. If you think that paying ~$50 a month entitles you to obsequiousness from staff, or to never having to wait for/share equipment, you're going to be disappointed, but those are totally unrealistic expectations if you think for a second about real estate prices in DC.
Fantastic experience: Smaller than some others but...always has been the best combination of staff, atmosphere, and members.
Fantastic experience: Great gym and great staff. Parking is free from 6a - 5a and after 6p in the garage. Otherwise there is meter parking in the street for up to 2 hours.
Hi Philip, Thank you for leaving your 5 Star Review! We aspire to uphold the Gold's Standard each and every time. Have an amazing day, can't wait to have you back in the gym!
Fantastic experience: Love it
Negative experience: I dont usually write bad reviews, but i feel that my experience at Golds Capitol Hill needs to be shared. I also work in the fitness industry, and was hugely disappointed with my experience in this gym. I’ve trained in Golds Clarendon and also Golds Dupont Circle, and these gyms are fantastic. Clean, friendly staff, etc. However the Capitol Hill location is a stark contrast to these two gyms. The first time i trained here, i was surprised by the poor attitude of the guy at the front desk. I told him it was my first time in the gym, and he seemed irritated by the fact that he had to answer my questions about towel hire, where the bathrooms were, etc. I also noticed that the facility itself is quite dated, and nowhere near as well kept as the other two locations. During my third session training in the gym, i had my bag stolen- house keys, wallet, cards, etc. My EarPods were also taken, and the tracking device on them told me the stolen items were in the gym for at least a few hours after i realized my things had been taken- even after i went back looking for them. I have reason to believe it may have been a golds gym employee, but was met with utter rudeness and contempt by the manager the next day, when i called up to discuss the issue. The gym equipment and facilities are dated, the staff have terrible attitudes, there are clearly criminals within the gym walls and really, there are just way better fitness options in the area. I will never step foot in that gym again, and i’m honestly just so disappointed by my experience here.

Fantastic experience: Great Place, Clean and Quiet
Positive experience: Great location... desperate need of new equipment...
Positive experience: I am always looking at group fitness rooms. This one was worn a bit. But Lisa taught a good class, and Jason greeted me well and showed me around.
Hi Mark, Thank you for your 4-Star Review! We value and appreciate your feedback, and we can't wait to have you back in the gym!
Positive experience: Nice experience. Will go back
Negative experience: No public bathroom guy had a rude tone also
Negative experience: For some reason this place doesn't honor the free pass/trial. Also, make sure you go during the only times they validate parking or you'll end up paying.
Positive experience: It has become a greg gym solely based on their set up. Their front desk in the morning could be less aggressive & more mindfull . When i signed up the front agent was crude & rude, giving me a second tougher of thought in practicing at their facility. Because of the price i said yes but u regretting my decision three days aftR ALLL cause of their morning staff & how they greet people. When entering a gym the last thing a person needs is annoyance & distractions. Unfortunately thats what this gym brings.. i surely hope for things to change otherwise equinox and vida seem like justifying purchases.
Fantastic experience: The atmosphere is awesome and the equipment is first class.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love going to Gold’s. I’ve been a member since November of 2021 and I have never been disappointed. The staff is incredibly sweet and helpful, the gym is always clean, and the members are kind and respectful.
Negative experience: If I could have given this gym minus five stars that would be generous! After over 5 years the manager Sam has finally managed to have me kicked from golds gym after years of what I can only looked at as a psychopathic obsession with me!!! I feel as if I was stalked around the gym, subjected to harassment justified in a narcissistic conversation patterns, I was refused access to equipment and area and reprimanded like a child what felt like every 5 minutes. No exaggeration! Once the issue could no longer be ignored it was brought to the attention of upper management I then thought I was being the bigger person but now was going to be receiving some long over due vindication. Instead I was slow walked lead on for two days, when I finally did receive a email the issue had been resolved it was to no surprise that I was the one looked at as responsible for this situation and ask not to return. To me saying this is common practice!! This is a gym I'm talking not a personal relationships , was pushed way past my comfort zone they could care less! I came for a workout I got an entanglement. I recommend sports and health Capitol Hill
Positive experience: This gym satisfies a workout; equipment could use some updates, also it gives me a basement feel, and can get crowded during peak hours.
Negative experience: On Tuesday my partner went in for the advertised free one day pass to check out the gym. He was then emailed a three day pass, after using the first day on Tuesday, he came back the same week Thursday to use the last day of the pass and was charged the drop-in rate. Not impressed
Positive experience: The gym is too small for the number of members. I might come back if they open another in DC
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here a week now.Staff is very friendly and people are there doing their exercise routine.Located side by side of the Federal Center metro.Once you get inside it’s the kind of place that you can focus on a vibrant workout.I love the AM time that suits my style. After a while I’ve gotten use to seeing the regular gym members.Positive vibes thus far.
Fantastic experience: It is a big help to my health journey!!
Fantastic experience: All you need

Negative experience: Mediocre Service - Beware of Thieves!: Imagine finishing your workout, going back to your locker, and finding your padlock broken and wallet missing. That’s exactly what happened to me at Capitol Hill Gold's Gym on 26 Dec 2021. Front Desk's response was "we are not liable for theft" and "you are the second person that reported this today"... not encouraged by the indifference of the team. Particularly frustrating as I am visiting; having to freeze your cards and get replacements when you are thousands of miles from home is PAINFUL... Word to the wise...stay away

Fantastic experience: This gym has an abundance of equipment. It's in a convenient location and right off the Federal Center SW metro. It's also spotlessly clean.

Negative experience: I went online and signed up for a free 3-day pass to see if I would like the gym, the staff, and its vibe before joining. I moved back to DC and was looking for something closer to home. On Sat 11/6/21 I spoke with someone name Kit or Kitty and asked if I could come in and try out the gym. She asked if I had a DC license and I told her I still had my MD license, and hadn't had the chance to transfer it to DC. This person told me that I could not get a free pass with the use of my MD license, but I could immediately sign up and buy membership with my MD license. This was stupid and made no sense! This DC location is WACK!

Fantastic experience: Smaller, which means less equipment but a great place to train. I’ve never seen it super crowded. Staff is friendly, equipment is repaired when broken. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: With 4 squat racks, this gym has made an effort to get as much useful equipment in a their space as possible. While lacking in some "nice to have" specialized equipment (standing calf raise, plate loaded hip thrust, glute ham raise) they have all the bases covered (machine press, row, leg extensions, leg curl, seated calf raise, and more), a few nice specialized machines (e.g. lat raise machine, hip abduction/adduction, etc.) a fair selection of plate loaded upper body machines, and plenty of pulley machines. They have a wide selection of dumbbell weights (there's one dusty rack of 110+ dumbbells, not sure how high they go), pre loaded straight and ez barbells, and preacher stations and plenty of adjustable benches. For upper body barbell work they have 4 flat benches, one incline, and one decline, which is pretty nice. They have a tBar row for plate loaded rows and they have a hinge for a barbell so you can do rows or landmine presses. There are two Smith machines, which is 2 too many imo but in case that's your thing, they're often empty. This gym really does put in a lot of effort to be useful, maximize their space, and as a result has a lot of capacity and lower wait times than you might expect. The staff are nice and friendly too. The bathrooms are clean. The facilities include showers and a dry sauna. It would be nice to get a plate loaded hip thrust machine, the one weak spot for this gym is no real posterior chain isolation work. It's really not easy to find space (or enough padding!!) to do real BB hip thrust. It would also be nice to get a longer "lane" for lunges or farmers carries, but space is a limitation here already. I think they really deserve 5 stars because of the emphasis they've made on building a useful space, with as many squat racks and benches as can reasonably fit.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym - high quality equipment, nice staff, good amenities (towels, sauna, clean lockers and restrooms), free validated parking (for most hours of the day), and good vibes from fellow trainers. You get 90% of what Vida/Equinox offers for 25% the cost.

Negative experience: I signed up for a three days free pass, which they advertised online. When I went there to try it, they just didn’t allow me. They wanted me to sign a year contract. They are not professional at all. Very bad experience. Don’t go there.
Negative experience: I requested to cancel my Golds membership, in writing, more than 6 months ago because I no longer commute into the city and have not used my membership in over a year. Not only has Golds refused to cancel my membership, members were also charged an extra fee at the end of 2020. This is beyond poor service. At $40/mos, Golds has raked in more than $500 of free money from me and God knows how many other poor people who have been on extended telework due to the pandemic.
Negative experience: Was straight up dishonest when I initially tried to get a membership. Manager contradicted the sign they had advertising the membership fee. I came back and signed up a few weeks later when they actually honored the deal but it was still such a waste of my time. Trying to cancel my membership later was a complete pain.
Negative experience: This gym wasn’t great at communicating details on their membership plans. My friend also never got a payment for a referral. Very disappointed with the customer service.
Positive experience: It's pretty clean and everyone wears mask and wipes down equipment. There's not enough equipment to go around, so following your plan is tough at times.
Fantastic experience: This is my home gym. I love it and I've been a member for over 3 years now. Very safe place to work out during covid.
Fantastic experience: I love the staff. They so interested n getting u where you want to be health & shape wise!!!
Fantastic experience: I loved this gym during my time in DC. The equipment was always clean. Both attendants and the manager were all helpful individuals who cared about the members of the gym. If I ever move back to DC, I'll definitely come back to this Gold's Gym.
Negative experience: Most gyms are hurting due to Coronavirus but the fact that they'll offer to freeze your account and then when you go to cancel try to bill you for three or four months dues is absurd. Especially since their terrible website is not displaying account information so you're supposed to take them at their word. They lead off by saying they'll send you to collections if they don't get their money. A predatory business at its finest.
Negative experience: The facilities are great! However the staff is unfriendly and rude
Positive experience: It's got what you need to lift or do cardio for a good price. No frills, not flashy.
Fantastic experience: Convenient and has a platform to drop weights
Fantastic experience: Wonderful Phase 2 experience!
Negative experience: Didn't like Gold's Gym's business practices during Covid. They waited until after the billing cycle renewed to freeze memberships even though you were paying for a gym you couldn't use by law. Taking advantage of a national crisis to squeeze an extra penny out of its members. Not ok.
Negative experience: I went to cancel my membership after the yearly membership, which is now considered month to month and will be charged for an additional month I won’t even use. I don’t understand this policy. If I want to cancel my MONTH to month membership after the yearly I shouldn’t have to pay for another month of membership.
Negative experience: Scam
Positive experience: This is my home gym when I'm in town for business. Overall the place is clean, and we'll maintained. I've been going there for about 6 months now and other then a couple of treadmills all the equipment is maintained is good working order. It can get a bit crowded during peak times, but thats to be expected.. especially on universal chest day. The staff that run the front end are always, friendly and professional, they really do a good job. From what I've seen the greet everyone and say goodbye when they leave. Really great customer service. Overall, great place to workout.
Fantastic experience: As a senior citizen I enjoy free membership to this gym and it keeps me healthy
Negative experience: All the fitness equipment I wanted to use--and I was told was in working order--prior to joining was not. Moreover, there is not enough locker room and space for everyone. People are constantly on top of each other. Lastly, the cleanliness of the showers was not up to par. The staff is really nice, but that doesn't justify paying the cost for this gym. I would rather pay more and get better amenities. Moreover, the gym gouges you for $100 for early cancellation. Other gyms have rmoved away from this outdated policy. I reccomend Golds follows suit.
Negative experience: Abysmal customer service. You have questions and need to speak with a manager as their front desk can't help you enough, they refuse to put you through even though "the manager reviewed your account but I can give you their email". Now I have to get off work and make the trip to speak with a manager. The person who handled my paperwork when I first started (Mr. T he goes by) said I could cancel anytime as I was (possibly) planning on moving. Out of nowhere, I'm told I'm under obligation - if that were the case I wouldn't have signed up if there was honesty from the beginning.
Positive experience: Great gym with a great manager named Sam. It gets full at peak hours but the equipment is great and always clean. Staff very friendly.
Fantastic experience: Nice Gym.
Fantastic experience: Eh.. you get what you Pay for. It’s ok I guess
Negative experience: Steer clear of this company. Gold's is trying desperately to rebrand under intense competition and I decided to give them a shot with their flexible month-month no contract membership. But when I decided to cancel they proved to be the same old terrible Gold's with hidden cancellation fees masked as a 30-day processing lag. Spoke to someone at corporate about the hidden fees, but they couldn't care less. They just throw the agreement back in your face. They'll get their 30-day fee, but they lost any chance I'll be a customer again.
Negative experience: The staff here is terrible as is most of the equipment( rusty, dusty, old sweat stains on the treadmills) just what you need to make you not want to join. Been coming in a couple times a week before work to get in a little cardio and upper body while my preferred gym is being worked on and been told to check it at the computer and then give the front desk my name ( if they are there when you check in). Today the front desk lady was on a phone call and started slamming her hand on the desk and was pretty rude telling me I need to check in first. How can you check in with somebody who’s on the phone? I went straight to the computer as normal (per her previous instruction) to do what she had had me do in the past. If you’re going to change your process maybe get off the phone first to tell that person and not start with aggressive actions. nothing is inspiring here ( TV set to all male channels of interest or news, rust on equipment, mats falling apart, staff are either not around or trying to sell you a membership before you take a tour or workout). I didn’t really want to workout when I came in and now I definitely don’t feel like being here. What happened to “good morning!” ? When did we revert back to banging in things to communicate? What kind of service is this and who wants to be yelled? Also I had previously been in and no one was at the desk to check in. When I asked somebody in an office to help me check in they instructed me to look at another office. Why would you not just stand up and help the customer? Overall I feel bad for the staff because they don’t have leadership in place to help them communicate with members, entice people to buy memberships and promote a clean and vibrant gym.
Negative experience: I would give a lower rating if I had the option. First, a good portion of the equipment has been regularly out of order. When I first noticed that problem I was understanding, but it took a long time for machines to be fixed, like close to a month. Second, their membership packages are disingenuous. They actually do not have no contract options. If you would like to cancel your membership they force you to pay for the next month, even though you've notified them before the next billing cycle. Sounds like a contract. Then they have the nerve to claim that every gym does the same. I've been a member of multiple gyms in multiple states and have never had a more difficult time canceling. You have to either come in person to cancel or ask for a certified letter to be mailed to you, there is no option to cancel over the phone or online. Extremely disappointed with this company.
Fantastic experience: Nice gym and they dont keep your drivers license either
Fantastic experience: Close to my office, convenient, well-equipped.
Fantastic experience: Once gym.
Fantastic experience: It's been 8 years at this gym. Never know who you could meet here at anytime
Positive experience: This is my new gym as of 2 months ago and so far so good. The gym is actually much bigger than i expect when coming from the main street. There are plenty of elipticals, and treadmills. I wish there were more bikes and also the straps on 3 out of 6 bikes are broken so i wish they would fix that. Lastly i think the mens rooms needs some deodorizer and more frequent attention to keep as sanitary as possible. Besides that. the gym is good. Oh and make sure the paper town and spray sets are always filled so people will have the tools and incentive to clean equipment.
Positive experience: Small and crowded, the last straw was when all of their showers broke down for several days back in December.
Fantastic experience: The manager Marc G is the best.
