Fantastic experience: I’ve been working out at the Fitness Factory, training with Eric, for almost 3 months. In that time, I have built muscle and made good progress on my journey to get fit and lose excess weight. Eric makes it fun and motivates me to keep pushing. I also appreciate that the gym is unpretentious, clean, has all the needed equipment, plays good music and has parking spaces in the rear. The Fitness Factory has been in the neighborhood for years and although I only recently started working out here, I keep learning about neighbors that have trained with Eric over the years or are current members. Feels like the sign of a great small business!

Fantastic experience: Seriously the best gym I’ve been to! I get personal training sessions here and I want to say that the progress I’ve made with Eric would not have been accomplished without his amazing help! 20 lbs in a month! All the members are really friendly and even through this pandemic you get amazing vibes from everyone! I am so happy I made the decision to come here and would recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Very convenient location and free parking behind the building. Work-out with free weights or machines. Clean showers to start the day. Great selection of running shoes to choose from Saucony, New Balance and Diadora ( will also order). Walmart across the street. Experienced and helpful trainer, Erik. Perfect! :)

Fantastic experience: Extremely solid neighborhood gym. Has everything you need, nothing you don't. Some of the equipment may not be brand new or shiny but everything is clean and works as it should. I've never seen it very busy but there is a basement level that has a second set of dumbells and a bench rack in case those areas upstairs are full. I've had memberships at corporate office gyms with gleaming, brand new gear as well as power lifting gyms with every type of machine under the sun, and every kind of place in between. This gym stacks up against any of them because of the convenience, affordable price and the fact that they have everything you may need with no frills. If you can't come up with a full body strength/fitness program based on what's under the roof at FF, you're doing it wrong. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for 3-4 years and it's the cleanest, friendliest gym you'll find, and probably the only place you'll find a bulldog hanging out by the lockers.

Fantastic experience: After 6 months in this Gym I can say in confident that this is by far the best gym in town. I usually sign up and after few weeks just cancel my membership, but here it was completely different story! I had someone calling me for the first two weeks just motivating me to come over and challenge myself. Not sure if it is a regular thing or just they care about me, but definitely give them credit in my transformation

Fantastic experience: Fitness Factory is a great gym and Eric, the guy who runs it, is fantastic. He was very accommodating, willing to help cater to my unique circumstances and requests in a way no other DC gym could. He runs a thoroughly tight ship. The equipment is all very clean and in good condition. The gym is never overly crowded, as other gyms often are. Thanks to the gym’s great hours, there is always a consistent flow of people in and out through the day. People can come workout at whatever time fits their schedule best. And none of this is to mention the prices, which are simply the best in all of DC. Eric is a funny, welcoming, and generous man. I’m grateful I was able to know him and use his amazing gym. Go Fitness Factory!

Negative experience: Had to check it out cause it was so highly rated. Toured the place and it’s two small cramped rooms. It feels like a small house. Very hard to manuever around. I go downstairs and there’s a smoke alarm chirping. It costs $15 to try the place for one day but I wouldn’t try it for free. I hope the owner can improve the quality and I thank him for his military service. Can’t recommend anyone go here though

Fantastic experience: I trained with Eric for two months and made immense progress. Prior to training, I could barely do seven pushups and they were not very good. I also couldn't even do a single situp. After training, I now can do many pushups and sit ups without stopping. I not only gained more muscle, but also gained more awareness of how my fitness goals tie into my daily life. I tripled my PT score and couldn't have done it without Eric. He keeps great records, pushes you, but also is conscientious of your limits and how your body is feeling. I had a great time during training and I look forward to continuing to grow in future.

Fantastic experience: I have been going there for about two months. I love Eric’s guide and enthusiasm, He is always making sure I am working on my fitness goals as well as providing a high quality training. I consider the best hour to work out now during COVID times is early in the morning. I love it is open at 6 AM. I definitely recommend the Gym and the personal training sessions with Eric.

Negative experience: Be care full with this gym, they take money from your credit card all the time, u need to check your account. I didnt use their services immediately the day i came in, i told the manager that i will come in to confirm my enrollment and not to charge me the enrollment fee with the monthly fee in their system which the manager agreed. But unfortunately Covid was at high in infections, i was not able come back. the manager Eric didnt call neither text me or email me to find out what had happened yet i had provided my phone number and email. The gym charged all the the months that i didnt come even before confirming my enrollment. I was charged almost $200. Its better to pay cash or use a credit card that u just transfer money on from your account. This gym will take your money be carefull. The gym charges $39 monthly plus enrollment fee of $100 compared to other gyms try to shop around before making a decision on this gym. The ower will always puts excuses to blame clients when they complain about charging their credit cards without their consent .Otherwise its better to have services from big gyms like planet fitness which are way cheaper than this gym.

Fantastic experience: good facility, good price

Negative experience: Had a good initial experience here for months but now that I have left the gym, I am still (attempted) being charged. I considered Eric, the owner, a friend and he knew I was leaving town but charged me for March anyway despite saying that he would not. This is also in the face of me monitoring the gym for him when he was not there and donating product that he ultimately offered for sale. My last day working out there was in February and I notified Eric and the staff that I was moving out of town and later was told I needed to put that in writing despite the fact that he and I were in touch on an almost daily basis and he knew my situation. Fast forward to today, April 1, 2020... they attempted to charge me again...(keep in mind gyms are closed for Covd19, why is anyone being charged?) but luckily I changed my card after not getting a response about billing me last month. My advice, pay in cash or change you card if you decide to leave. Not cool.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined the fitness factory. The staff is super friendly and willing to answer questions and offer help with workouts. Eric put me through an amazing ab workout that had me hurting the next day!! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a gym!!

Positive experience: Muy pocas máquinas, falta de toallas y alguien que guíe a los novatos de cómo hacer los ejercicios, las pocas máquinas que hay están algo desgastadas en su soporte por el sudor, si quieren hacer press de banca o usar cualquier máquina, si está lleno tienen que hacer fila para esperar su turno, porque solo hay una y si llegan en hora pico, mejor tengan paciencia, aunque relativamente pasa algo solo, el espacio es tan pequeño que por poco y se golpean los codos y lo peor es el precio, está algo caro para la falta de equipo adecuado está muy caro. El lugar muy limpio.
