They care and that is the difference. The workout is perfect for all levels. They work with you no matter your pace. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a barre workout and community.

Fantastic experience: There are four barre3 studios in the metro Detroit area, and this one is the largest. I love that the classes focus on finding your own strength. The instructors encourage easier or harder modifications as needed. This is a great community of supportive women.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of these metro Detroit barre studios for many years. I was excited and nervous for the change from The Barre Code to Barre3, but everything turned out better than I imagined. The studio is gorgeous, and I love the heavier weights. Though a piece of my heart will always be with the original Brawl class, I can say that the other class formats are a welcoming upgrade from The Barre Code format. I’ve felt stronger these past couple of months, and I’m glad I get to experience the change with all the same lovely ladies that I’ve met over the years. The instructors are still amazing, welcoming, and very friendly. There is a place for everyone here, and I love how you can customize your experience- choose your own weight size, loops resistance, or modify as you need. I highly recommend taking a class or 100!

Fantastic experience: I just walked about of a b3 cardio class and all I have to say is wow! My muscles were worked just as much as my heart rate was boosted. The rush of endorphins and detoxifying sweat was exactly what I needed today. This class will have me coming back for more and more!

Fantastic experience: Barre3 is the most welcoming and inclusive fitness studio I have ever been to. Upon your first class, the staff will walk you through everything and answer any questions you may have. On top of being so welcoming in that aspect, there are many class styles to try. Whether you’re looking for cardio or a shaky barre class, they have it all! The mindful aspect of the choreography has been such a breath of fresh air and my muscles are loving it !

I joined about a year ago back when they were known as The Barre Code and it was the best decision I made for my fitness goals as the classes allowed me to switch up my routine. The community is also super uplifting and I’ve met some of the best ladies through it. I rotate between the Birmingham, Rochester Hills, and Royal Oak studios based on what works best with my schedule which is super convenient too.

Fantastic experience: All of the classes get me sweating and feeling great! This method transformed my body and made me feel so strong. Highly recommend!! Birmingham has a great play lounge too so you can get those workouts in without having to worry about childcare.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a client of the Barre Code since 2015 and if I could give them 6 stars I would! The instructors are so kind and the energy is so positive every time you walk through the studio doors! The workouts keep you on your toes (literally haha!) and I always feel stronger leaving than I came in. There is a great variety of class types between strength and cardio and the routines change frequently to give your body the best possible workouts to change things up. Highly recommend getting your sweat on here! You won’t regret it!

I've been coming to this (and the Royal Oak) studio now for over a year and can't say enough nice things about TBC! I love all the formats offered, especially the newest Signature class as they transition to barre3. If you are looking for a group of strong, uplifting ladies and want a solid burn, you've come to the right place!

Fantastic experience: I joined Barre Code almost two years ago! I most often attend Barre classes at either the Royal Oak or Birmingham locations. Class formats are great and the instructors are the best! Barre classes are designed for any fitness level! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have joined The Barre Code in August last year and absolutely love it!!! The workouts are great, instructors are so professional and truly do care about each one of their students, there is a great range of props for different intensity exercises, the music selection is so spot on, schedule is awesome, you can start your workout as early as 5:30 am in the morning or as late as 7 pm in the evening, studios are clean and nice (I usually rotate between Royal Oak and Birmingham depending on my schedule and both of them are wonderful)! That being said, I would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone who is looking for some self care time!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy I found Barre Code! It’s the only fitness class that I’ve ever been able to stick to. I’ve been to over 100 classes between both the Birmingham and Royal Oak locations, with multiple different instructors and class types, and I absolutely love it. Not only is the workout great, but the environment is, too!!

Fantastic experience: I joined TBC one month ago - and I am absolutely in love with it! The classes are so much fun, the instructors are super helpful ! The studios are nice and clean, they provide you with lockers to use during class so you can stow away your belongings and they also have a kids room for mothers so they don’t have to worry about leaving their kids at home. The timings of classes are flexible, so there is always a class available when I’m free. Working out in a group is much easier than going to the gym, especially when there are instructors to motivate you

Fantastic experience: Barre code is an all woman's gym, focusing on classes for woman's bodies. I like that they have a good variety of classes and you can work from any level of fitness. The classes are positive, and flow smoothly. Their app is also easy to use and plan for classes.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I found my way back to this studio! After a lot of home workouts, it feels so great to have the energy of women working out together here. I love the tempo of the classes as well as the highly trained instructors who keep the routines fun and different each time. I find a good variety in taking Barre, Brawl (for some cardio!) and Strength or Bootcamp. They all leave you feeling ready to conquer your day.

Fantastic experience: I have tried most of the barre options in the Birmingham area and this is by far my favorite. The classes are extremely effective (I'm always sore the next day, but in a good way) and their class schedule offers a better mix of cardio and pilates/strength than many of other places that I have tried. The facilities are well laid out with just the right level of amenities for quickly getting ready after a morning class. The part that really stands out for me is the scheduling--they offer classes as early as 6 am and as late as 7:15 pm, meaning that you can work realistic hours and still manage to attend regularly. Plus their pricing is really competitive. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Fantastic experience: **Update to my last review, still 5 star - 10 star if I could give it - TBC at home work outs were seriously the only thing that kept me going and sane during the past 15 months of covid. So thankful to be part of a community that has banded together for all its members during such a trying time** I was finally forced to start working out in my early 30's and I hated the gym and working out. Then I found The Barre Code and 3.5 years later I still love every single class. I love the work outs - having the change up between strength and cardio is perfect and every class is different and unique. I love the welcoming and friendly atmosphere - TBC makes everyone, no matter age or size, feel at home and like part of a family. My body and my mind are addicted - Thank you TBC for changing my life in such a positive way.

My favorite thing about it is that they do not focus on weight loss and the workouts are ones that truly every body can do- the instructors are fabulous about offering modifications for pregnancy, injuries, or just if your body needs a break! The instructors change the routines of the classes each time, which makes it fun and engaging. The new Birmingham facility is great and I love the attached parking option.

With three studios across metro-Detroit they offer a wide range of cardio, strength and restorative classes. The staff are warm, welcoming and always happy to answer any questions you may have. The new Birmingham space is gorgeous and has ample parking. I absolutely love coming here and owe many of my close friendships to it.

Fantastic experience: Right from my very first class I knew Barre Code was exactly what I was looking for in a workout studio. Every class is different and challenges you. Wonderful group of supportive ladies and the studio is so cute! I actually enjoy getting up early for workouts now!

Fantastic experience: I'm not the type of person that can workout alone or at home... I get bored. Historically I would also get bored with a studio after a few months and switch it up. That is NOT the case with the Barre Code. I joined the studio as a member a few years ago, and haven't looked back. TBC is the only studio I've been to with such a variety of classes that its not a chore to go to, or another boring work out. Not only is there a variety of classes, but each class style is different and keeps your mind and body guessing. Two other bonuses: (1) the playlists also change every month, and I love getting rocking out with sweat dripping to some good music! and (2) the community is second to none. Everyone at the studio is so kind and welcoming, no matter your fitness level or who you are. Its so refreshing to witness that kind of unconditional support.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy the new Barre3 format that recently launched across the four studios. The classes focus on time under tension, and it really works. You're able to customize your workout to your ability with the range of weights and resistance bands it's great to make class what you need. All the class formats will offer you a great full body workout.

Fantastic experience: I started at the barre code when I first moved to Michigan about 6 months ago because one of my friends, who is an instructor there, told me about it/recommended it to me. After my first class I was hooked and ready to keep going back! I would usually get bored going to the gym and I was trying to find a place that motivated me to keep going and the barre code did just that! Each routine is always different with different styles of classes and teachers. I found my new place and I always look forward to going to class!
