Negative experience: I called to get info about the gym and the front lady girl yelled “I can’t hear you” in a rude tone. When I just said hi. Then said “I got someone in the front, give me your name and number and I can give u a call back” again, in a rude tone. I go by the vibes when I pick out a gym so this was a solid NO. Fantastic experience: Joining Jabs was one of the best decisions I've made for my physical heath. The workouts are fun and engaging. After 2 months of consistent work; I can see SUCH a difference in my body. I'm stronger and leaner. The staff is impeccable. They're great at what they do, welcoming, and make coming to the gym much easier. I'm excited when it's workout day and look forward to learning from them.

I did my free 1 day trial and loved the atmosphere the workout and the staff makes you feel like family so now they have a lifetime member. I come in for the Cardio Kickboxing and BOYO Kickboxing classes.... the classes are high energy, intense, and fun all at the same time and I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to Jabs Birmingham.

Fantastic experience: My teenage son needed a (safe) way to get through this weird and emotional time in his life. You know what? It turns out that punching, crunching, and lifting was the way to do that. We signed up with Fortune who took my kid under his wing. Boosted his confidence: calling him Champ (although I'm sure Fortune has "many Champs", it always makes my son smile), and checking in on him outside of the gym, texting me to make sure my son is okay, and taking pride in giving my son his first real pair of boxing gloves. From the outside (and with inside information) it certainly seems that Jabs Birmingham is a family. That means a lot. And when my son finishes a workout, he gets in my car all sweaty and with a smile. Pretty much always says, "that was so hard" and "today, I got to do this..." and "today I got to go up against..." Jabs Birmingham has been great for my son and for our family. It's nice to see him progressing in the sport of boxing, getting exercise, and honestly coming out of a depression. I highly recommend Jabs Birmingham!

Fantastic experience: Great full body workout! Coaches walk around during class to help perfect your form and do some fun shadow boxing with you. You never feel like you can't keep up, even if this is a first time experience they guide you through the motions. There's no difference between skill levels and no judgment ever. Definitely love this class, the coaches and this workout!!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Jabs gym were extremely helpful and welcoming. This was my first time at Jabs and my first time kickboxing and they provided me with direction how to properly wrap my wrist, punch the bag and proper steps and techniques. I am not a very athletic or active person so i had some difficulty keeping up with the group but they continued to encourage me and let me go at my own pace. I really enjoyed my experience at Jabs and I look forward to attending another social distancing kickboxing class. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The trainers are experts at what they do and care about each individual's success in their classes. Everyone is very welcoming! There are a variety of different classes at different times, and it's usually relatively easy to find something that fits your schedule. The gym is very nice, clean, and easy to access. I feel as though I definitely get a challenging workout that is worth what I pay for. Even if you attend the same classes/times , the trainers do a really good job of rotating routines and target areas for a well-balanced work out. Thanks!

I enjoy going to all the classes because the trainers truly care about how you feel, will adjust you if you aren’t moving correctly to maximize your workout safely! I been going here for past 2 years and I have lost baby weight and toned up! No one judges you, everyone is here to work hard and enjoy results! Fantastic experience: The class with Jimmy was an extremely great workout. I burned so many calories dropping into this kickboxing class. This is definitely something I told my friends and family about joining me. Jimmy was very helpful with teaching me the combos in this up beat, hard work and fun class. Since this was my first time, I didn't know some of the combos but he was helpful and stopped by my bag to make sure I was getting it and kept me motivated. In addition the women in the 5:45 pm kickboxing class were very friendly, welcoming and helpful to a newbie at this Kickboxing class. I will be retiring to meet my fitness goals with Jabs Gym. So if you looking for a fun upbeat way to burn some calories, get in cardio and just train your body. Jabs Gym Is where to go!

Positive experience: There was no ventilation in the work out room, so it smelled bad and also was 80+ degrees.
