Fantastic experience: Elite Physique Gym is the best gym I've ever been to and here are the reasons why: 1) The customer service is top tier. -I was nervous to sign up and Jade was kind and welcoming. She walked me through the gym to help make me more comfortable and helped me sign up with ease. -Anita, the owner is respectful to every gym goer! You can tell she takes great pride in helping the community and she's very approachable with any feedback or questions you may have. -Jordan is full of energy and bubbly. She's always taking great care of the gym, cleaning up, making sure everything is stocked. She really adds the personal touch and knows everyone's names! 2) The community -Being newer to using these machines can be nerve-racking, but the community is so strong here. You can literally ask anyone for help and you'll make a new friend, while also getting your workout in! -Every morning multiple people greet me and say good morning, it's something I really look forward to! I've never experienced this at commercial gyms. 3) The equipment -There is plenty of equipment for everyone to use. Multiple stair masters, treadmills, cable machines, leg press & squat machines. They also have a hip thrust machine, smith machine, plenty of free weights & MORE! 4) The group workouts classes -There are multiple group workouts classes that are completely free for Elite members. These are beginner friendly, and they are FUN!!! 5) Last but not least: DAYCARE! -If you're a busy mom or dad and don't have a chance to breakaway without your kids, their daycare option while you workout is AMAZING! Feel free to peek in and check on your littles once in a while while working out. Final thoughts: I am so beyond excited to continue my journey at this gym. I can definitely say this place feels like home!! If you read this whole review, just join LOL, you will be happy you did!!

Positive experience: Signed a 12 month contract with the gym, great gym and environment! But I’ve been getting charged after the end of my contract, been in contact with workers for a week now about why I’m still being charged or if my account is finally cancelled, I have been told they will be calling me back. Never received call back and have called twice more receiving the same response.

Negative experience: Have they not heard if of planet fitness, this places charges $20.00 a day. That's ridiculous never again

Fantastic experience: I chose to join Elite after extensive research and consideration, including visits to multiple other gyms. And boy, did I ever choose correctly! This gym is fantastic in all ways. First, the equipment is top-notch and AVAILABLE to use...I have gone morning, afternoon, and evenings and have never had to skip an exercise due to overcrowding. Second, the people are so nice: both staff and other members. Everyone is so welcoming. Third, the general manager (Jordan) is great...so helpful, so professional, and has created such a positive vibe at this gym, and especially in the group fitness classes that I am overwhelmed with gratitude. The trainers I've worked with so far are awesome (Jordan and Deanna). Fourth: The membership fees are fair and definitely reflect significant value and an excellent investment in health and well-being. Fifth: the gym is super CLEAN!! Sixth: The gym is open 24 hours/day! SUMMARY: I'd give Elite Physique gym more than 5 stars if that was an option......I'm so happy I joined!!!

Negative experience: My family has been a member since it opened. There are machines that have been broken for over 6 years. I mentioned that fact to my son and was overheard by an employee who then told Anita, the owner. She revoked my membership for staying a true fact about the broken row machine. That is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to complaints about the owner. It was a great gym at one time, no longer. P.S. The machine wasn't being used by me. It was Kevin, who you know is disabled. It's unsafe for him to use it. I haven't worked out there in years because Defined is MUCH better. Again, you are lying. Charlie worked there for longer than he should have, and it. Was. Broken. You seriously are a pathological liar. You lie as a realtor, and I have texts to prove it. And yes, you are correct, I have zero respect for someone who sends inappropriate texts to my husband. I have proof. Have the success you deserve! From the looks of all your 1 star reviews, I'm not the only one who agrees. That's why you had to remove reviews off of your Facebook page. Because people tell the truth about you, your gym, and your poorly run business.

Fantastic experience: I have lifted many dumbbells, barbells, and the like in gyms in different countries and found the flat rate all access 24/7 point of sale to be the best. This gym has boxing bags, machines, and free weights alike. This accessible location by Intel is key. Also, finally, there are televisions. Good

Fantastic experience: Elite Physique has to be the best gym in the Rio Rancho/Albuquerque area. They have a wide variety of equipment that is good for all levels of fitness. The gym is organized, clean, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not to meantion they offer daycare. Arianna is wonderful with the kids, attentive and fun! The prices are competitive and I feel great supporting a locally owned business.

Fantastic experience: My second home. I've been a member of elite physique for about six months and love it! The gym is clean, well-equipped, and never too crowded. There’s a great range of machines and free weights, plus a variety of classes. The staff is friendly and the trainers are knowledgeable and motivating. 24 hours make it easy to fit in workouts, and overall, it’s been a great place to improve my fitness. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been coming to Elite for a little over six months now. We have been able to experience this gym at different times of the day because it is a 24/7 gym. Like so many others we get pretty busy with work and family so we needed a gym that was flexible. At the times we have gone to this gym when they are staffed all staff members have been professional and welcoming. Jordan stands out as being exceptional. She is kind and always has a welcoming smile. That makes all the difference in somone else's day to be welcomed. Staff members are on top of keeping the facilities and gym floor clean. I feel like it is a clean environment. The people who work out here are pretty chill. You have your regulars that I have slightly got to get to know. I have look forward to seeing some them both in the am and pm. You have personal trainers here. They are super fit and knowledgeable. So yeah they know what they are doing. You have me that one girl with adhd who cant figure it all out so i walk aroud with books and flash cards so i can stay on track. You have people of all ages who are at this gym for the exact same reason as you. To better themselves. We came from Defined Fitness. I went to every single one of the Defined gyms. The gyms themselves are great but the environment can change your mood and the way you feel. Too busy. To snobby. To dirty. "Did that girl just side eye me?!! The nerve!" Ect ect ect.... My point being if you are bearly starting out or if you been going to they gym since President Nixon was in office, Elite Physique is a great place to get fit and healthy. You will not regret being here!

Negative experience: I had been going here since 2017. . Started taking my daughter occasionally to teach her. I asked to sign her up for a membership not only will they not set her up but now all sudden wont allow her to work out with me. Shes 12 about to be 13. I just canceled the whole membership.

Fantastic experience: This gym has been my boyfriend and my favorite gym for the past 7 years. We love this place as it is always clean, not super busy during middle of the night hours, and friendly staff. The equipment is well kept and sanitized. Personal cloths available and spray bottles to sanitize the machines when you are done. Good atmosphere and the owner is amazing.

Negative experience: The restrictive hours for Presbyterian gym memberships (Prime) keeps me from coming here more often. Fortunately the other gym I frequent doesn’t have these restrictions and I end up going there way more often even though it’s busier. It’s a shame they’ve done this cause it’s a decent gym otherwise and I’d much rather support a small business..

Fantastic experience: I have been to the gyms in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, and I think Elite Gym is the best so far. They are open 24/7, which is a plus, and that's why they are never too full of people like other gyms. While people cram in at the last minute at other gyms before closing time, making them always so full, Elite Gym is open 24/7, so I never see it super full. Also, Elite Gym is huge. The best service here is the daycare. Their care for my baby is above and beyond, and I can tell that my baby loves spending time with them a lot. It’s also a local gym business, so if anything happens, you can talk to the owner and get it resolved quickly. I have been to Defined Fitness, and it took me at least four months to get my problem solved. The staff at Elite Gym is very friendly and helpful. I really love this gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym is what a gym should look like and feel like. There was friendly staff and the energy in the room was very communal. Their wasn't a piece of equipment I was longing for, they had everything I like to work out with. The equipment was clean and I saw everyone participating in the and not just expecting staff to maintain and respect the facility. The weights were put back in the right place, omg that blew my mind haha. I live in LA and I wish we had a gym like this out here instead of dirty over crowded social media shows. More gyms should model their community after Elite. Every time I come home I get my week pass and am sad to go back to the gyms here. You'll love the place.

Negative experience: I’m not sure if there’s a change of management because I haven’t seen the old manager in a while. Ever since he left, this place has been terrible. The back room is always unorganized. And all of the cable accessories are no where to be found, so I have to go hunting for it. Front desk girls are very rude. They don’t greet their members unless they know them.

Negative experience: WARNING: SMALL BUSINESS IS NOT ALWAYS GOOD BUSINESS Many companies nowadays rely on microtransactions, charging 5, 10, sometimes up to 20 dollars for monthly fees. This Gym is very different! Signing up here puts you at risk for fees ranging from $40 to $150 EXTRA! The owner has made it her goal to soak up as much money and sympathy from the community as possible before going under. Signing up with Elite Physique has shown me how much of a blessing Planet Fitness truly is. !!!Please take it from someone who has been lifting weights for over 5 years, old people and annoying teenagers at any other gym 100% beats the experience you'll have at Elite!!! Inattentive staff refusing to do the bare minimum, very little customer service (what little you receive will be rude and patronizing), and overall no unique qualities make this gym one of the most expensive mistakes I've ever made. I'll be going next door to defined fitness, as everyone I've talked to has said they have not been scammed out of money like they were at Elite Physique.

Positive experience: Great gym, great equipment, pretty clean, and cheap. The staff is hit or miss but the hours make up for it. Overall, one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to.

Positive experience: I was on my own plan and decided to get a family plan because it was cheaper than two separate plans. It never panned out that way. Every month, I was held in captivity by the service desk because my payment didn’t go through. Finally, after a few months, they realized we were on two separate plans. Frustratingly, I continued trying to work out. It’s kind of a small gym that is not cleaned enough. The door doesn’t work half the time, and good luck getting anyone to open for it during evening hours. The customer service is sub par. I am not going to download the app, the door should work. The people on the treadmill will see you struggle with getting into the gym. It is a 70% chance they will avoid contact with you. You will be stuck waiting until someone comes out.

Fantastic experience: Favorite part about Elite is probably the kids club. The employees are always so attentive and playful with the kids. They always have space to play. The gym itself has all the essentials needed and even heavy dumbbells and ample barbells to use. There’s an awesome backroom with deadlift platforms and squat racks in addition to the ones on the main floor. There’s also punching bags and even more dumbbells/barbells In the back too. The crowd is spread throughout the day so there’s always space to workout vs commercial gyms being over crowded. Front desk employees are amazing and friendly. David is such an awesome person to talk to and always checks on members. Ms Gina in kids club is so awesome with my the kids they absolutely love going here to see her.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve been too. I went to Chuze and Defined before in the past and there not as good as this gym. A hottub/pool area and maybe even a sauna would be really cool to have but I get it’s a local gym and not a franchise. They make up for it with everything else though. The atmosphere is great, it’s a very hardworking atmosphere compared to my previous gyms. The back room is my favorite place to workout, due to the feel of it. The place isn’t HUGE but it’s plenty big. The staff are amazing here and the manager is really nice. I think my favorite aspect is that it’s 24 hours.

Fantastic experience: Such a great gym to go to! It’s extremely clean and we have never had any trouble with waiting for anything. The gym is never overly packed and we usually go at 5:30-6PM. We also bring our daughter who stays in the daycare area and she absolutely loves it in there. We sadly are moving out of the area but if and when we come back we will definitely be coming back to Elite Physique. The staff are so helpful and kind. Highly recommend and love the prices!

Fantastic experience: Been going to elite for a few years now and its a great gym! It's always clean and Jordan and other staff are always warm, welcoming and friendly. The best part, ita not nearly as busy as big commercial gyms and the equipment is great.

Negative experience: I'm not even sure if I would bother stopping by the gym since their customer service sucks... I called to ask some questions, and the person covering stated " I'll find the manager and have them call you back in five minutes." LOL it's been an over an hour. This was after sending an email from weeks ago thru their contact section which STILL remains unanswered. I'm not looking to bash the place, but seriously based on these two customer service interactions or lack thereof, I'm not sure its worth it to join.

Negative experience: I have been emailing Elite since February to cancel one of my memberships on my family account and they have just ignored me. At I went in to the gym and they said they only can cancel memberships via email. Then finally they responded about 2 or 3 weeks ago for proof of the communications I sent so I sent them all of them. Now the are ignoring me again. In the communication in April I asked for all of my memberships to be canceled if this is how they are going to do business. The reason I am giving a one star is that I just got charged again for the memberships I canceled in February. Don’t trust this company they won’t stop charging you if you want to cancel.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved here from San Diego and had been working out at a 24 hour Supersport and when I arrived here I began looking for a good long term gym. I started out with some temporary gyms testing the water. Then happened across elite physique here on yelp while searching for gyms near my home. I work alot so I emailed Steve one of the owners for some basic info, which he gave. He also recommended I come by and check it out so I did then I left, not being pressured to sign up. I came back 2 hours later and got a membership. The gym is great, plenty of equipment and the sport specific facility in the back seems pretty sweet although I haven't used it yet. Super clean facility, most of the staff is pretty friendly. There is just an awesome energy there. The only downside to the place is that by me writing this review it will probably become more crowded due it being the only decent priced quality gym in the area. So do me a favor and go in the afternoon. Go by check it out, the gym speaks for itself

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym in the west-side / Rio rancho area. Well maintained equipment and courteous staff, with well mannered and polite clients/ community. Overall lots of great equipment and not a lot of wait time which is a tremendous plus.

Positive experience: I miss it but they start to charge more as oppose to 3 years ago due to new supplies in the gym. Have to work with contracts but the people are pretty chill.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to Elite Physique Gym after my stroke. I had gone down to 88lbs. When I first came in the door, I knew nothing about diet, or weight training. The friendly support & help offered to me was tremendous! More than the staff, the clients were welcoming & accepting. This gym quickly became my favorite place in the world, containing all my favorite people. The owner Anita, has been more than helpful & friendly. She even allowed me to have my wedding here! When things fell apart, one of my favorite employees, Charlie, concerned for my safety, would even walk me to my car! I would recommend this gym to anyone. Within two years I have gained 47lbs, now weighing 135. The equipment here is new & there are so many things to do I never get bored! Definitely recommend you try it for yourself! Even if you’re new to this, everyone is more than willing to help you!

I have a physical challenge and the staff is always willing to accommodate my needs. My personal trainer is Ken and he is the best.
