Fantastic experience: Love this place. Big parking lot. Space is always clean and well maintained. Indoor basketball courts, soccer/baseball fields. Outdoor close by kids park is nice too.

Fantastic experience: We are hear most weeks for my sons volleyball, basketball or other activities. It is a great facility, clean well managed, and flexible for lots of activites. They are great supporters or WDSRA the local special recreation program and that is awesome. They have adapted to pandemic operations well.

Fantastic experience: Very spacious facility with a large space for basketball courts and indoor soccer fields. Very clean throughout. The staff is super friendly. Lots of parking space.

Fantastic experience: This is a great community recreation center surrounded by a number of well maintained fields for soccer, baseball, and a play ground. Inside are areas for exercise machines, basketball, indoor field hockey and other activities. Definitely a gem of the Glen Ellyn Park District. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Have taken my grandkids to several different activities over the years, always had an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out. It’s a lot cleaner now than before - I wish it stays that way. And no masks! Masks are optional. I can’t wear a mask when I’m dead lifting heavy.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym with nice equipment and lots of floor space. Variety of free weights, cable machines, and plate loaded machines. Friendly staff and clean locker rooms as well.

Positive experience: has an excellent program for adolescents under 18 years of age to get their heart rate up and stay fit.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for something to do in Chicago during the winter, the running track and basketball courts are a great option. There are usually three courts, one of which is usually open. With Covid, there are lots of treadmills located in various places.

Elevated walking/track Multiple weight and fitness class rooms Indoor turf (soccer, lacrosse, football?)any outdoor fields Great landscaping around building Parking lot is odd shaped, but that the only drawback. Envious our town doesn't have such a facility. Glen Ellyn is blessed to have such a place

Fantastic experience: . I was amazed when I visited the facility for the first time as a traveler with a lacrosse team. It had multiple multi-use gym arenas, an elevated walking/track, several weight and fitness class rooms, and an indoor turf suitable for soccer, lacrosse, and football. The building was surrounded by beautiful landscaping and the only drawback was the oddly-shaped parking lot. I was envious that my town didn't have a facility like this and I'm glad that Glen Ellyn is blessed with such a place.

Fantastic experience: Somehow a four or five year old review of mine was recently (and mistakenly) RE-posted. I'm only glad for the error so that I can rectify it and sing the praises of Ryan Miller, the current facility manager. Ever since he has taken this position he has done nothing but bend over backwards to be helpful, fair, hard working and attentive to all the programs at Ackerman. Even the positive attitude toward the Pickleball players trickles down from Ryan who does an outstanding job of communicating and advocating for us. Our Park District facility is such an important representation of our village as it's the first impression many out of towners get of Glen Ellyn. Ryan's competence, diplomacy and "can do" approach to problem solving definitely goes along way in leaving a positive impression on facility users whether out of town guests or in town regulars. Ryan has made Ackerman a better place to be! Thank you Ryan!

Fantastic experience: After trying several gyms we found one we love. It has something for everyone in the family. My kids love the turf, courts and rock climbing wall. My husband and I love the gym and track, everything is always clean!

Fantastic experience: Great place they have a soccer field, basketball, and fitness area all great for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Fantastic experience: Super clean gym, I played here for over 4 months now, my basketball gym shoes is still white on the bottom with no sign of wear. And yes, i dont just sit on the bench, I do play alot and runs alot, lol! Bathroom is very clean, staff is super friendly and I always see someone doing some type of cleaning at the gym. Prices is very reasonable also if you want to get a group together and rent a court.

Fantastic experience: Great pricing for what is offered. So far i am enjoying it. The service could be better though. The people are friendly enough but they aren't knowledgable behind the desk which is where most would go to ask questions. They misspelled my friends name but the girl didn't know how to correct it but assurred when we come back someone would be able to.. guess she was hoping we wouldnt get her again.. and when I came in for the first class I wanted to try, I immediately asked a girl behind the desk if she could direct me to where the classes are upstairs. She said she doesn't go upstairs... But anyway, clean and so far a good experience otherwise. Wont let a few nitpicky things bring my review down.

I hope the times go a little longer like 5am to 11:30. Most gyms hours are ending around 11:15-11:30. The gym is over all great. The upstairs is clean and nice too. Let's get the timings a little longer Ackerman Fitness Center. Love the Gym. If yo guys could plz give me a feedback for my review
