Fantastic experience: Ahh man!!! Had an incredible work out with my new trainer. First time using a gym in Elmwood. Apex has fire machine, old school vibe, dope music and a lot of good energy. Looking forward to making good progress with this style gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with an incredible atmosphere to it. Alot of equipment to offer, but I just wish the dumbbells going from 135 and up had the space so they can fit its hard at times to place them back since they literally don't fit other than that amazing gym to be at!

Fantastic experience: When you walk into this gym, it becomes home and the people become family. I completed a 60 day challenge with Amanda and it was an amazing experience. She pushed me further than I’d ever push myself. She taught me proper use of machines, how to follow a dietary guideline and make working out a lifestyle. If she wasn’t around, I could ask anyone for help and they’d jump in to help. This gym is the perfect place to start as a beginner or as a vet. Amanda is a great trainer to start your fitness journey with!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed a 60-day training course with my Trainer Amanda at Ape-x Universe gym. I want to commend Amanda for her dedication and commitment to helping me reach my fitness goals. Her passion for fitness and her motivation played a significant role in keeping me on track with my workouts. As for the gym, it is a welcoming and family-friendly environment. An aspect I appreciated the most was the ability to bring my child along. The atmosphere is supportive, and I always felt encouraged by both the staff and members. Overall, my experience was positive and I am grateful for the opportunity to have trained with Amanda.

Don, Miguel, and Tony give a one of a kind environment and are always keeping great vibes and energy to the environment! If your looking for a new gym or a sanctuary to run to that feels like family...you've found the right spot!

Negative experience: Avoid this place at all cost if you are only going to be there temporarily. Went into store to cancel back in January (which they confirmed my membership is cancelled) and now need to work with my bank monthly as they continue to charge me every month. Two subsequent calls confirmed my membership is cancelled as well…

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym about a year now and it’s always a great and motivating environment. It seems like every month they’re doing something that improves either the equipment selection (some of the best I’ve seen), building on their aesthetics and vibe, or clientele. Without noticing, this has become a place I look forward to coming to a few times a week, and that’s rare for me and gyms. Also, a bonus is that the gym smells great upon entering which is a rare for other fitness facilities these days.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym, 1000% recommend I’ve been working out since I was a teen. Had to stop workout due to life changes, resumed now and I’m having the best workout of my life at this gym. Surrounded with best people, no racism, Fun & happy spirits. I’m glad we came across this gym, looking forward to many more good memories here.

Negative experience: I hate to do this to my own people but this place deserves it at this point. My husband and I were given a deal to close the sale: $30 a month each as opposed to $45 a month. We were told we can cancel any time, no strings attached. WELLL, we’ve been trying to cancel since Dec last year and every month we not only KEEP GETTING CHARGED but also they didn’t disclose some $45 hidden fee that hit both of us 2 months in. We keep getting told it’s being done “right now” but every month they’re taking our money. Now I have to dispute all the charges with my bank. This gym is run by a couple bros that decided to open a gym but have zero interest in running and building a business and it completely shows. UPDATE: upon this review the owner who was supposed to do it a long time ago finally canceled my husbands membership, mine I will be in dispute with the bank. Im thankful for the businesses Google response as it showcases my point. Have a wonderful day!

Fantastic experience: This gym is for people who want gains, want to get fit, and are very serious about their health and wealth! They have exclusive machines and plenty of weight to move for people all ages! Very spacious and very clean! The staff is amazing and the gym is in a great neighborhood!

Fantastic experience: Such a great environment to work on the biggest of projects, ourselves. I live easily 35-40 minutes in the opposite direction & I make sure to come out here to get a solid session in. It isn’t just the equipment that makes a great gym, it’s also community. And this gym definitely has all that and more. Proud to be a member and looking forward to see what the gym has in store for itself and it’s clients.

Fantastic experience: From when you walk in the door until your workout is finished the vibes are amazing. Tony, Tay, and Don are all supportive and knowledgeable. Cannot go wrong having one of them as your trainer! Not only are the trainers the best.. the members are just as badass. Anyone can join this gym… If you just started your fitness journey or have been working out for years you will be comfortable here. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Great Gym! Been training for about 15 years and have trained in gyms all over the world, but the environment in this gym is just different. You can have fun and still get the work done. I started working out there about 6 weeks before my bodybuilding show and now I am less than 2 weeks out and I haven't missed a day. For you gym critics, the lighting is mazing, mirrors are everywhere and the bathroom is the cleanest I have seen in a gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym is practically in my backyard. I love going here and its so convenient. These guys take care of business and offer good tips and training advice. All you have to do is go in and talk with one of them if there's a problem with billing, not that hard. I love the artwork and music. This gym is a great vibe and good for the city , and I hope to see more new equipment and services in the future. No corporate garbage here, definitely top of the food chain

Fantastic experience: This is definitely a gym to invest your money in. APEX is like no other gym I’ve been to. From the moment you walk into the door the environment is positive and welcoming. The beautiful lounge area for kids and clients to relax and eat at was aesthetically modern and vibrant. They even had candles and meditation crystals! I’ve never seen that at any other gym! The hours and service are great, you do not feel pressured nor do you feel like people are judging you. One of the owners even came up to me during my workout to help me with my form; ultimately avoiding me from getting an injury. I wanted to join a gym that is clean and professional, with owners that actually invest and take pride in fitness. If you are looking for a gym that focuses not only on your physical health (fitness) but your mental health as it relates to working out and eating, YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE. Excited to be apart of the apex familia!

Negative experience: You guys are so unprofessional . I was charged 2 times had to stay on the phone with my bank for over 39 mins to clean up this hat garbage that they didn’t even have Access to . when I called to get explanation about it the person who answered my called was so rude didn’t even allow me to speck . I knew better than to even walk in this gym. The type of gym that will last only a few months . Pls save your money and go to a real gym that will handle situations in a Professional way with respect . The man was so rude if I was in front of him he probably would have hit me .
