HG FIT is an independent functional fitness gym located in Kempston, just on the outskirts of Bedford city center. Certified coaches, including co-owners James and Matty, ensure that every athlete, whether a beginner or an experienced competitor, receives the guidance needed to achieve their fitness goals.

The club offers a diverse and tailored programming schedule that includes main CrossFit classes, Endurance sessions, Olympic weightlifting (Lift), strength building (Build), and team WODs. Standout specialized programs include HG - BUILD for mastering weightlifting techniques under a British Weightlifting coach, HG - CONDITIONING designed to prepare athletes for HYROX competitions, and HG - LEGENDS, a category dedicated to athletes aged 60 and over, focusing on mobility, balance, and daily functional movements. Members also enjoy unlimited access to the open gym and use the Wodify platform for performance tracking.

Fantastic experience: Great gym experience! Loads of classes and equipment. The coaches are great and are very helpful with adjusting movements to work around old injuries (There is also a in-house physio who is great). The other members are amazing and there is a strong sense of community at the gym. You never have to wait for or share equipment which is the biggest benefit of this gym compared to more main steam gyms. The gym has been great around the pandemic... Over the first lock down, the gym rented out equipment and held multiple zoom classes per day (as well as doing social zoom quiz nights). Now we're back in the gym, you are designated a space on the floor -marked out by tape - so you can keep 2meters away from other people. The equipment is also cleaned between every class which is very reassuring! HIGHLY recommend this gym!
