Fantastic experience: Great place for kids. Morning hours are the best.

Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend this gym for people with young kids. Especially in the morning hours. It’s a great place for kids. Martha is wonderful and she does a great job with the kids. The play room is wonderful. Much better than Southern Oaks Athletic club where the room for kids is tiny and crowded. Calloway has a great price too.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. I have been a member for 12 years and the staff is amazing. The gym is clean. It’s not too crowded. It’s like a family. Everybody knows everybody and it’s nice to work out knowing that if you need any help of any kind, the staff or a member will be willing to help if needed. All of the equipment I use are always wiped down and clean. The pool outside is always clean. The indoor pool is also very clean I’ll never go to another gym If you join this health club, you will be amazed M. J.

Fantastic experience: I don’t have enough great things to say about Calloway’s gym! The staff is friendly, the equipment is up to date, the facility is always clean, the pool is huge … there is always plenty of room to work out, the classes offered are awesome! And the hours of operation are so convenient for my schedule! Also, they have rooms available to rent at reasonable prices parties and meeting rooms! 5 star review!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: Just got a membership and already regretting it. The outdoor pool has algae growing on the sides in the water. Inside the building there are several areas with mold growing in the cieling idk how this place has not been shut down due to health violations.

Negative experience: Horrible gym. This place will lie to you to get you to join. This place is dirty and has roaches and bugs They barely have water for their members. HORRIBLE GYM. Old and outdated equipment.

Fantastic experience: After retiring I was about ready to give up on physical activity. I joined Calloways gym and quickly found new paths for my personal health. I love playing pickle ball there, it is now my passion. I started meeting people and taking advantage of some of their free classes. I just finished Pilates and am about to soak in the jacuzzi. This place is my connection to friends and fun..

Negative experience: The kid area is covered in algae and the outside pool isn't very clean. The slides are also out of commission. For $15/ day per person I expected better.

Fantastic experience: They offer a huge variety of exercise equipment.I was there over 3 hours on Dec 10 2017 with my direct support worker.I loved swimming in the indoor pool.I turned the bubbles on in the hot tub and loved it.I had a free guest pass for me and a guest.I loved shooting hoops at calloways.I am a Calloways member now.I joined August 2018.I have a 3 year contract with Calloways.I love to walk on the indoor walking track.Yesterday I did several laps on the track.

Positive experience: Friendly, knowledgable staff!! Some of the equipment is old but overall it is well-maintained, functional and gets the job done!! There are a variety of types of equipment and plenty of free weights to allow you to workout each muscle thoroughly. The club is very spacious with something for everyone- Swimming, racquet ball courts, cardio rooms, and spin classes. I would recommend this gym to others.

Negative experience: No trial, no guests, shortest membership is 3 months.

Fantastic experience: This will be my second Rating but again definitely worth 5 stars. Was great still being able to work out during the pandemic and staff was great about making sure people were staying distanced and cleaning up equipment in the extremely rare case where a patron didn't clean after themselves. A great no nonsense place to work out where you don't have to worry about running into the nightmares you hear people complaining about.

Fantastic experience: Love! I did a tour back in December 2021 and Immediately signed up after getting feedback from the neighborhood page. I had a knee injury that prevented me from doing most workouts but I got a private lessons with Cheryl and she’s gotten be almost 100%! The gym could definitely use an update but they have machines that have stood the test of time and a few new machines scattered throughout. My husband loves the weight room and the place is so big that I can work out without feeling like I’m being watched/judged. All of the employees have been super friendly and the daycare allows me to let my kid have fun while I burn some calories. Also, they have an indoor pool that’s open all week!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym! The gym has a wide variety of equipment ranging from cardio to weights & even an indoor & outdoor pool! The staff is very friendly & the owners are even better. Definitely the best gym in the Baton Rouge area.

Fantastic experience: Great older gym. It's not too crowded but it had tons of equipment. Also we loved the indoor and out door pool. Staff are friendly. We loved the childcare center my husband always put my little one when im at work. Some people say it opened it may 1st during the pandemic thats right but a lot if people can’t live without working out including my husband. If you are scared basically don’t go.

Negative experience: Owner is rude and uncaring of others. If you’re looking for a decent gym then run from this place!

Negative experience: The owner cares more about his pocketbook than the staff, the members of his gym, and really, the entire community. He straight-up opened his gym in the middle of a global pandemic even though it has not been deemed safe to do so.

Fantastic experience: Tons of equipment with hardly any wait times.

Fantastic experience: Staff is great and opening at 4:15 in the morning is great over the summer when I have to be in to work early. Its never crowded and I have yet to meet a unfriendly member while there. Just a great atmosphere.

Negative experience: Terrible!!! The over dated of an over 20 year - old building including dirty pools and equipment. Most of staffs don't know how to greet customer. The owner is the biggest problem!!! STAY AWAY!!!

Negative experience: Dated. Needs lots of updates and renovations. There are lots of machines and weights and equipment though. Staff is friendly.
