Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Little Gym of Bayridge! My child has not only learned so many new skills but has also grown in confidence, coordination, and social interactions. The instructors are incredibly patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in each child’s progress. The classes are well-structured yet playful, allowing kids to enjoy while learning. My child looks forward to each session and always leaves with a huge smile. The environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for families. I highly recommend The Little Gym of Bayridge for anyone looking to give their child a fun, nurturing place to grow and thrive!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed by the level of management integrity. So basically I came in for the first time on February 3rd with my child. My child enjoyed his session and so I signed him up for a monthly membership. After two weeks, I couldn’t get my child to want to go back (we only went that one time when we signed him up) and so I called to cancel my child’s membership and they refused to let me cancel without having to pay for one more additional month. I AM NOT EVEN ASKING FOR A REFUND I JUST WANT TO CANCEL MY CHILDS MEMBERSHIP IMMEDIATELY. I was told I need to cancel 30 days in advance so that I have to pay for one more month… my membership hasn’t even been active for 30 days for that to even be possible. So that basically means after signing up, you are locked in for 2 months as it’s not possible to cancel before the second month. This is extremely ridiculous policy to apply immediately. Listen I understand policies are in place but the fact there was no empathy by management after explanation my circumstances says a lot about the integrity of this place. Forcing me to pay one extra month is robbery. Moral of the story, be very sure your child wants to sign up and make sure you initiate cancellations at least one month in advance. Don’t expect any favors.

Fantastic experience: 202306xx::attended a cousins bday party. the party room, playroom, and facilities were clean. big window to watch the tikes play. there were staff to play and watch over the little ones. as they went to the dining room, the staff used some kind of electrostatic sprayer all over the playroom, it smelled nice

Negative experience: While the staff are very friendly Liam the franchisee is terrible. We sent our daughter there for years and paid thousands of dollars. When we decided to end our relationship after seeing a charge on payment method Liam refused to issue a refund for services not rendered. We saw the charge, called to inquire why we were being charged, and requested a refund only to be told they are not capable, not that they can’t, or won’t, but are incapable of issuing refunds to original payment methods which is illegal. He’s rude and clearly has no value for his clients. I regret exposing my daughter to someone of such low moral and ethical standards and will be scheduling time with the local PTA’s to share my experience to ensure families are warned of his illicit practices before entering into business with him. His business licenses should be revoked.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, great space, lots of classes to choose from and very easy to cancel a class and schedule a make-up in case there is a scheduling conflict. Both of my kids absolutely look forward to their time here. The idea of "Parents Survival Night" is also incredible.

Fantastic experience: We booked our daughter’s birthday party at this location. It was easy to do it online and they followed up right away with a phone call. From the beginning they were very helpful and answered my million questions. They carry limited party themes, but since I wanted an Abby Cadabby theme, we had to bring our own decor. I dropped off the decorations the day before and on the day of the party, Vita and her team had decorated beautifully. We were very happy. They provide pizza and juices for the kids. And they can order outside catered food for the parents. We brought our own food and it wasn’t an issue. Our guests started showing up early and they were allowed to come in and wait till the party started. We added 1/2 hour which I think was needed, otherwise, it would’ve been too rushed. The staff packed up leftovers and decorations and cleaned the party room, while we said goodbye to our guests, which was helpful. Our guests were aged 1 to 12; but I do think it’s better for kids age 10 and under. Still, the parents told me their kids had a blast. The kids go into the playroom to play while parents stay outside. So I would recommend you bring some light snacks for adults and some music while they wait for their kids and the main food came out. We didn’t think of that. We actually had them hold off on all the food till the kids came out from play and I didn’t realize that parents may have been hungry waiting for their kids. But it was all fine. And the most important thing is that our daughter had a blast!

Fantastic experience: My daughters just had their birthday party here and it was such a great experience. The staff set up the party room so beautifully and the kids had such a blast doing the activities and gymnastics. Very stress free. The staff was so helpful in every way. They set up, cleaned up and overall we’re just very pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Really spacious and CLEAN facility, which you cant say about most of the kids gyms in the area ( we tried quite a few ). My daughter has been attending PreK gymnastics and loves it. Staff is really friendly and instructors pay special attention to all the kids. We will definitely be back in the fall. I do understand concerns the previous reviewer might have but we really didn't see any of that. I feel that all the instructors are trying to level with kids depending on their skills level.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been taking classes here for a year and she has developed so many great skills. The facility is clean, instructors are caring and the classes are always well staffed. We just had a 3rd birthday party here and all the kids, especially mine, had a great time. The Little Gym made us feel very special.

Fantastic experience: Really fun gymnastic experience for the kids and a joy for the parents to witness. Our two kids of different ages both love going to the little gym and the instructors are all fun and engaging with the kids. The equipment is good and each week they focus on different skills. I recommend this for kids, especially the little ones.

Negative experience: Signed up for classes since I had a pandemic baby and was hoping it would be good for her. Honestly it’s just way to overpriced. Also the timings aren’t great if your child is younger than 2 years old. Sometimes the classes would be around her nap time which made her cranky. To be completely honest I don’t recommend this place. Each class is literally over $30 a class which is very expensive for a 45 min class. Majority of the class the kids just run around so it’s not worth it. I have found that my daughter enjoys indoor parks so much more which cost about $20 with a lot more fun activities Which works better for me because I can go whenever I want so I don’t feel pressured to have my kid ready at a certain time. If your child is young you know it’s hard to stick to a schedule most of the time. Also, Like other reviews mentioned the front desk makes passive aggressive remarks and I don’t feel comfortable asking him any questions which shouldn’t be the case. I would feel comfortable even calling if I needed to change the day of the class. I won’t be going back.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and rude customer service. I’ve purchased coupon and was treated very bad. They would take my number and never gave me a back call. It was hard to reach them. Update: you didn’t even pick up the phone and last time you made me cancel coupon, you writing an answer like your are nice person , but when I call you act yourself very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: It's a good selection of progams being offered. The flexibility of the class schedules. The amazing staff at the little gym of bensonhurst. Their patience and kindness. The detail explanations they provide after each class so parents know what they (kids) learned and accomplished. So far is been an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome, in 2018 we were looking for an activity based class for our daughter to learn and develop skills. Thank goodness we found this place. They have a flexible schedule and the staff (Leon, Hara, Brittany and Izzy) are really awesome. They really give attention and focus on helping out each kid in the class and most importantly, our daughter has developed skills and had so much fun doing so. The staff at the little gym is also accommodating and are genuinely great people who really enjoy helping kids. Our daughter is so excited to go to Little Gym every week!!!

Fantastic experience: My two year old daughter loves Little Gym! She is often in quiet and observation mode but at Little Gym she is ready to explore movement, balance and strength. The staff is friendly, calm and experienced. It is always very organized and clean. It's a lot of fun.

Fantastic experience: Our son absolutely loves this gym. We went there for 2 years, he has learned to do so many athletic activities. At the beginning he was afraid of trying new things, was terrified of the balance beam, for instance; after a few months he could walk on the beam by himself. The teachers are so good with kids and the activities are perfect for their age, building up both their agility and self confidence.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place!! I enrolled my daughter a year ago and she has thrived so much. I am so proud of all the skills my 2 year old has learned from The Little Gym but most importantly I am proud of my daughters’ independence that her gymnastics classes gave her! My daughter is constantly looking forward to her gymnastics classes especially with Ms. Hara, our gymnastics teacher. Ms. Hara is simply amazing!! She is patient, kind, and very enthusiastic. I highly recommend The Little Gym of Bay Ridge/Bensonhurst for parents who are looking for a great place for their kids to be active! Ps. I also love how the owner always greets parents and children when you walk in, makes you feel at home.

Fantastic experience: My son loves to go to the Little Gym! We live a bit far from it, but my son so eager to go there! The place is very tidy and the atmosphere is warm. Ms. Hara and Mr Izzy are his instructors, they are very friendly and kind, always encouraging and helping the munchkins! Class activities are fun. If I had to reschedule, whoever picked up the phone , they were really polite and tried to work out the best for both parties. I'm really pleased, because this is my son first experience in these kinds of settings and he had a blast! Thank you

Fantastic experience: First of all I almost never write reviews, but I felt compelled to after our daughter's 6th birthday we just had at The Little Gym. One word is all that comes to mind - AWESOME! Truly, truly awesome! Everyone of the parents that came to my daughter's party was so impressed with the place, and I couldn't help but suggest that they should bring their child there too -because I am that sure they'd have a great experience with them as well. My daughter has been doing gymnastics at the gym for almost 5 months, and we've never had anything but great experiences with the owner, the staff, and their learning techniques. I've seen my very shy 5 year old (now 6 ) come out of her shell and I cannot thank her coach (Mr. Alex) enough! He's awesome...and my daughter looks forward to every class, practice session and even their Parent Survival nights...which mom loves too! Lol! Thank you Little Gym. Our experience with this place will forever be a wonderful memorable one!

Fantastic experience: We had the best birthday party here! It was for a 2nd birthday but we had kids come of all ages (from 10 months - 8 years old) and all of them loved it. It’s easier for the parents too because you have the whole place to yourself and can go back and forth from the gym play area go the party room. Def having more parties here!

Fantastic experience: We recently had a 3rd birthday party at the little gym and it was great. A quick phone call about what we wanted (including food for kids and adults, color schemes, beverages, etc) and my party was planned with literally no work on my part. The 3 instructors gave everyone attention and did fun activities for an hour, to wear all the kids out. My son had a great time!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to the Little Gym for over a year now and she's loving it. Besides learning the basics of gymnastics, she has gained confidence, she's less afraid of heights, she loves the entertaining and interactive warm-ups with different themes each week, and of course wonderful and professional instructors, who keep her safe.

Fantastic experience: The Little Gym is a great place for our 20 month old to work on his gross motor skills. We really like the consistent routine the instructor provides each week. Our son knows what to expect and is able to anticipate the next activity. Since he doesn't go to daycare, he has difficulty following directions during group activities-- it's a new skill he is working on. The instructor has been so kind and patient with our son as he is learning how to be a part of a group. And so far each week, my husband and I have seen a positive change. Also, he's been learning a new gym skill every week. He's getting better at climbing, walking up/down inclines, gripping, and even participating during circle time. Since there has been no pressure in forcing our son to participate in any of the activities, this has allowed us to teach him to join in on the fun without making a scene.

Fantastic experience: Signed up my 2 year old over 2 months ago. She loves it! I like the evening class availability, friendly staff, and very flexible scheduling. Access to the gym for open play included in the price.

Update 3/7/18 just had a bday party here “It was the best birthday party ever, I truly appreciate it” said my daughter Emily 6 y/o. The kids got personalized attention in a safe gym area. There are no outside kids/adults during the party. NOT overcrowded/ noisy/ disorganized like some places we’ve experienced before. The adults can be with the kids or away from them in a nearby room enjoying refreshments. Both rooms have huge glass windows so the kids are visible and also supervised and entertained. The pricing is decent for Brooklyn NY, the staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Will celebrate younger daughters there in a month gladly again. I came home without a headache this year and had a chance to mingle and converse with guests at normal conversational level! No Yelling or nodding politely :)) Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: Great class to kids and toddlers to develop new skills that are physical and visual.

Negative experience: Pros - gym is fairly large size for toddler to run around and get a good exercise depending on their ability. There are multiple classes offered throughout the day and throughout the week. Kids are grouped together with similar age groups. There is a viewing room in case family members join you. The gym is located on the 2nd floor and offer elevator. Cons - Classes come out to $30 per/session if you choose split two payments. And for the money, the value is lacking as instructions are inconsistent. Some classes are taught very well and some classes, not so much. They follow a curriculum but you are allowed to make up classes within 30 days. Which if you miss that week's instruction, because they have weekly instructions, you are just going in for another session, not necessarily following their curriculum. You MUST pay to start class (which is fine) but when requesting refund due to dissatisfaction of the class, their refund policy is a bit complicated. You must give 30 days notice (exact 30 days must pass then you have to wait 3 to 5 business days before you see your refund). They offer open play hours during the week Mon-Thur from 12pm to 3pm. Which for most toddlers is a nap time. So unless you live around the corner, there is no value to these hours as by the time you get there, you get maybe 30 minutes. The gym is located next to a commercial businesses. So this location has a lot of cars double parked, no cross walk sign for pedestrians and can be quiet dangerous to cross when crossing the street with a toddler. Their glass door is heavy and difficult to open the door when you have a stroller in a bad weather. Make up classes are allowed. However, if something happens to you or your child and you have to cancel (which most moms can relate to this happening as kids get sick all the time), the owner makes smart remarks or makes you uncomfortable by confronting you passive aggressively. Don't get to the class too early, the owner will let you know you are too early even though you had to come in early for parking reasons. My overall experience here was not good. I felt uncomfortable multiple times by the owner with comments or overall customer service I received from him. Once I gave my 30 day noticed, the owner wouldn't call me back after multiple calls and message I left. Just had to call back multiple times before I got someone who asked me few questions to make sure I knew the cancel policy. And when you do get to talk to the owner, he doesn't let you finish. He interrupts you and cares about being "right" more than providing customer service. I mad multiple make-up hours I didn't bother to make up as this information wasn't even share with me once I put in my 30 days notice. Any business that is quick to take your money but does not provide customer service throughout, make it difficult to request refund or make you chase for information regarding refund, I'd say think twice before signing up. Because the headache, frustration I went through... I wouldn't want any busy, hard working moms to go through.

Positive experience: Giving 4 stars only because I'm selfish and wish the classes were longer! :) My older son came to Little Gym at Bay Ridge-Bensonhurst for a year from 1.5 yrs old to almost 2.5 years old. He loved it so much that when the year was over, he'd ask about the gym randomly. I'm having major thoughts in putting him back in again! Or maybe just enroll his younger brother! (update: We've recently enrolled my 15 month old to start in september! yay!)

Fantastic experience: I loved that the employees were very attentive and helpful! Seeing my daughters smile made the day and glad she had chosen this place after we attended a birthday party

Negative experience: Beware they will charge you credit card Evan if you don't renew for another semester and without them telling you. Sent my daughter for the first semester from September to December. We decided not to send her there for the next semester because my wife was pregnant and the whether got colder. They charged my card for 522 again in December. We called 3 times over 1 month to give us credit and every time said they would, they never did. We had to dispute the charge.

Negative experience: Not a place for special needs children. They advertise that they work with autistic kids but they don’t.

Negative experience: Very bad experience I had today! I called them and ask if my daughter can try one free ballet class they said you can come on Monday and she take my information and then when I went they told me there is no more room for your daughter and we can’t find your name on this class !! I walked 20 minuets in the cold weather with my little one and they didn’t let her to try the class !! This is unprofessional way !! My daughter she so disappointed she told me mommy why they didn’t let me go :( shame on you!

Fantastic experience: The Little gym is a place all kids will have fun regardless their gymnastic abilities. Kids love to jump, roll, skip and bounce and they can do that safely there. My daughter loves this place, she plays, learns and gains new friends each time she is there. Clair adores all her teachers. They are hard working group of kind people. One of the best places for kids to learn and have fun at the same time.

Fantastic experience: I have two daughters in classes at the Bay Ridge-Bensonhurst Little Gym, and they both love going to their gymnastics class every week. The instructors are professional and very good with children. The owner and staff are friendly, respond quickly to questions, and seem to genuinely care about the kids. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: They were very efficient in helping us to set up the birthday room, and also cleanup later; organized everything in good orders. They are always friendly and helpful in answering my questions. The facility itself is also very clean as always. Ample pace for the kids to run, jump, toss around. My birthday girl and her guests had a blast. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My daughter attended the Little Gym in 2014 and 2015, we started off with gymnastics with Izzy and then switched to karate. My daughter loved lessons with Izzy. He is great with kids and I highly recommend taking a class with him.

Kids, both- younger and older, had an amazing time playing in this awesome indoor facility. The action never stopped and the children just couldn't get enough. The service provided by our party hosts was exceptional. They attended to our every need and made our evening stress-free, so we could enjoy ourselves. I would happily recommend your party facility to anyone having a party. I am so happy to have found this location, it truly made my son's birthday party an unforgettable event.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, fun, very spacious! My son is crazy happy taking Ms.Alyssa class. He is only 15 months old, little shy munchkin who loves to run around and imitate. I think its amazing especially for little toddlers. Ms. Alyssa teaches them such a cute little tricks, and new way to help them improve their little skills. Im extremely happy! Its really a fun class. We will definitely keep coming back for years.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is in the bugs class with Ms. Abrianna who is great with the kids. She is very helpful and attentive towards the kids as they are developing and learning while they grow. I wouldn't trade Ms. Abrianna for any other teacher!

Fantastic experience: My girls really enjoyed the Little Gym. It was hard in the beginning but they ended up liking it. It is a great way to learn risk taking, learn new skills, and test their limits. I particularly enjoyed the diversity of the staff members as well as the participants :) It is a friendly environment. I recommend to those who are skeptical about it, to try out a free class, and see what you or your child thinks.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym! My daughter attended Mr.Izzy's class for 2 years , we traveled all the way from park slope because he was the only instructor she was comfortable with. The classes are well worth their price, are always on a beginners level & the kids always have a great time while getting exercise and socializing.

Fantastic experience: Great place for birthday parties with an amazing staff!

Fantastic experience: Hi the owner of little gym or i dont know how much does this cost plz send me your reseponse to go its sounds good and my parents want to know Sincerely Mireya SEND me your RESPONSE

Positive experience: My daughter attended the little gym from about February through June 2015. First the Positives: The staff, with the exception of one member, are friendly and very kid friendly. The gym is well maintained and clean. My daughter enjoyed making new friends and picked up a few tricks to show off in the parks. That being said I know you cannot discriminate but I was uncomfortable with the male staff member when it came to hands on (physical touching} teaching or guidance. He seemed to be crude in his manner when dealing with the children. I know its a gym and I do expect some bumps and bruises but I also expect better supervision. my daughter managed to get hurt more in a controlled and "supervised" environment than in outside play. Some of the exercises seemed too advanced for the children. On the day the children had their celebrated success show, where parents were permitted in the gym area my daughter was promptly ejected and embarrassed by the male staff member for which he gave a contradicting explanation to that of my daughters. On the same day he permitted a young boy to hang upside down on the rings and instructed the boy to stay in that position. No sooner had the male instructor walked away that young child lost his grip and landed on his head...in front of the parents. its no wonder he did not sustain serious injury to his neck. there were many instances like this. my daughter wanted to attend come the fall but I opted to not sign her up. we will find another outlet for her. I am surprised by the glowing reviews the little gym has received.
