Riptide Gym

Positive experience: Staff is nice, had plenty of cable/weight machines, and treadmills. There is a section of free weights as well but fills up quickly when they get busy.

Positive experience: Decent gym, and less people than the other two gyms. Less equipment than the others but has enough for a good workout.

Fantastic experience: I visited this gym a few times when i recently went on vacation to Destin. This place is a gem! Not very big but has a little bit of everything. I really enjoyed the small but well layed out free weight area and weight machines. Again, this is a well designed gym with lots of natural light and mirrors. Very clean, good ventilation and fans, and lots of wipe stations. The mens locker room was clean with plenty of available lockers and space to get ready in the morning. The showers were also very clean. Even the sauna was very clean and didn't have that dingy smell that most saunas have. Lots of seating too. The staff was always friendly and takes pride in keeping this place in great shape. I'll be back for sure next time I visit Destin!

Fantastic experience: Has a sauna

Negative experience: plenty of cardio equipment, weight machines, and a sauna (very neat!) but the mens locker room is pretty crappy… only 6 cramped shower heads in an open bay, and only four sinks. makes for an unpleasant morning trying to shower/brush/shave in a hurry between gym and work.

Fantastic experience: Good hours for you to choose your own schedule. Classes most days.

Fantastic experience: Has a Zumba Monday and Wednesday and a dance class Tuesday and Thursday. Great to get you moving. Exercise and fitness room large and plenty of machines to choose from.

Fantastic experience: Nice place to work out. Assistant are really helpful and kind . Opened from early morning to the evening, Bathroom are cleaned often and closets are more than enough to pack your gear in.

Positive experience: Great gym. Sometimes it's too cold in there. Also, they have several elliptical machines that are out of order. This is the Air Force! They should have enough money to get these machines operational.

Positive experience: Very clean, quiet, all it's missing is a squat rack. It only has a Smith machine and other machines for squats.

Negative experience: This place is nice if you want machines and treadmills, just not my kind of gym. But if that is what you are looking for then the riptide is clean and organized.
