Fantastic experience: Great location, one of the bigger crunch gyms, always clean. I Want to shout out Mr Pete (the manager?, hopefully) he’s always beyond welcoming and supportive, since the first time I hit the La Verne crunch, it’s now closed. but so glad to see he came to the San Dimas location after. Makes you feel like family and a huge reason I stayed with crunch.

Negative experience: I signed a contract. They said I had 5 days to cancel. Came in and canceled due to surgery on my left knee, and they build the my bank anyways went in to dispute. It totally rude. Manager refused to refund my money. This is how you tell if the gym is any good just thievery. I will now dispute it with my bank

Negative experience: **Beware of Crunch Fitness's Perks Partner Program** I want to warn all potential "Perks Partners" about Crunch Fitness. They sell you pretty lies, promising significant benefits, but in reality, we didn't gain a single client through their program. They assured us that there was no contract, yet they charged us twice and are planning to charge us a third time. They conveniently neglect to mention that you’ll be charged for the second month, even if you decide to cancel immediately. When we tried to cancel, they delayed the process, ensuring we'd be billed a third time. Despite their trustworthy façade, their customer service is abysmal. Our messages on Instagram were ignored. Save your money and avoid the frustration; this program is a scam.

Positive experience: I have been loyal to this gym for three years. It’s small but has the necessary equipment to have a good workout. The only complaint I have is that they could add an extra squat rack. Some people lack gym etiquette and take over an hour on the squat racks knowing there are people waiting for them yet they have the audacity to take their sweet time during the busiest hours. I would appreciate it if there was a time limit on the racks so everyone can get a chance to use them. Some of us don’t have enough time to wait that long. Other than that, great vibes from the workers and I will continue coming.

Positive experience: In the area for business and needed a quick workout, I randomly found this crunch fitness off the 57 behind Red Roof inn. It was a week day around 10am, wasn’t sure how busy it was going to be and to my surprise it was very quiet. The lady that checked me in was nice. This particular gym shares the space with Blitz Muay Thai, it was interesting to see people practicing on the mat, not sure about the agreement with using their space. Overall, if I was back in the area, I would definitely give this spot a visit! Clean and cold inside, stocked pre and post work out stuff, ample parking! Missing star – Lacking extra machines, had to wait a cool min for the leg curl machine, water machine was red (Change filter please) – noticed another water machine on the side which I used

Negative experience: Twice in a row I was billed after cancelation. The first time $100. 2nd time, the bill went to collections and was charged $130 when I canceled 4 months prior. Front desk associates ensured me it would not happen a 2nd time and a simple gym membership has now affected my credit score due to a fowl up on their end. This is how they treat active duty service members.

Negative experience: I have been to multiple gyms over the past 8 years and I'm currently a member of two (was three before I canceled my Crunch membership).This is the worst of the gyms I've been to. I find the equipment to be very low quality. An example is their stair steppers. As soon as you climb up, it begins to move. There is no pause or emergency switch to stop it. I consider this a very dangerous situation and when I asked if this was the way they are supposed to work I was informed by two employees that yes, this is how they work. I found the Roman chair as well as the decline sit-up machine had virtually no padding for your back making these uncomfortable to work on. Some of the machines had only 20lb increments with no ability to add 5 or 10lb as you're working to gain strength. Finally, I submitted the on-line form to have my introductory session and they never contacted me back. Generally the workers were not that interested in helping me.
Positive experience: I go to this gym all the time. Enjoy going when it’s not busy. Fun atmosphere with very friendly staff but watch out if you go during the Muy Thai classes as they take up a portion of the gym. Overall very clean and good space to workout and lift weights.
Negative experience: I asked for a base plan for $15 a month, the manager said she would give me the peak benefits for a free month since I was here for only 2 months. I ask if it will cost more because I don't want to pay an extra $20 for something I don't want, she says no. Fast forward to today and I see I have been charged $35. Never trusting these managers again.
Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed this gym. The people are friendly. There's plenty of space and I really liked the lifting area that's separate from the machine area. I'll be coming back for sure.
Fantastic experience: Great location! People were very friendly and helpful. There were 2 people at the desk, and I was impressed by their entire demeanor. Friendly courteous, and just great! Clean, machines looked new, and locker room showers were spotless!
Negative experience: MAJORITY of the staff here suck - they are rude af and need better customer service training. How do you work the front desk and ignore members when they GREET YOU? I am so sick of walking in and seeing them. There a few that actually greet but other than that they're HORRIBLE. I only gave 2 stars cuz of location/convenience and for the few friendly staff members. Other than that I would never recommend this crunch location.

Fantastic experience: Been loyal to this gym for a years already. They recently expanded the gym which they double their size. Yea it sucks if you payed to use the exclusive side, but whatever. It just makes the gym better. What made me more loyal was they didn't allow themselves to go on lock down after the initial lock down. It's a good hidden gym. Always clean, friendly, and good schedule. It's better now that the open all the gym for everyone and they added more equipment.

Negative experience: This gym is literally so unprofessional and the manager there has no clue what he is doing and probably the most hostile, rude, disrespectful and aggressive person I have ever met. I had contact the gym around the beginning of November 2022 to freeze my account since I was in and out of town especially for the holidays and by January 8-9th, I was charged almost $100. I understand annual cost but when i made the call to freeze my account they confirmed that my monthly/year payments won’t go through until my account is active again. But nope. Charged $90+(my membership cost was around $20, and the annual fee is $50, I should’ve got charged around $70-$75 but manager never told me why I was charged $30 more). When I went to the gym to see if I can get a refund or AT LEAST AN EXPLANATION, the manager literally acted clueless and was not answering my questions and was MAD AT ME for freezing my account to begin with. He yelled at me in front of every person that came in and out. His way of solving the problem was to yell at me “in 2 weeks your refund will go through, now leave. BYE NOW! BYE!!!” that is so embarrassing. THATS HOW YOU TREAT ANOTHER HUMAN? I honestly wasn’t a member of this gym for too long, TBH i started going to this gym because of past experiences of other crunch gyms, yet this one literally makes me never want to go to another crunch ever again because of how badly the manager responded and handled the situation with such aggression. all I wanted was an explanation(that was never given) about the high charges this gym was charged me when my membership was frozen. it’s been almost 3 months now with no refund.

Negative experience: It's a decent gym. One of my issues with this specific location is that there's a lack of wifi. Apparently I need to talk to their manager about it but they don't have one. I need wifi to listen to music when I'm working out. I've been to many other Crunch locations and wifi is always available. There's certain equipment that I'm looking for that's available in other Crunch locations, but not in this one or is hidden behind their "Combat" membership wall. Overall it has enough equipment and things for a decent workout. Also, their men's bathroom smells.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. I was involved in a bad car accident and was unable to workout over a year, asked the manager to freeze my membership since I was put on disability unable to workout. I was charged randomly another 5 times afterwards over the course of a year and charged for 4x a monthly payment in 1 payment despite me cancelling my policy. DO NOT sign with this location they will rob you then ghost you on emails and lie to you on the phone only to go back and hemorrhage your for money. If you have a similar issue with this gym please message me as I have 5 others that have had similar issues for a class action lawsuit to correct these isssues

Fantastic experience: This is the best crunch fitness seriously. There are people constantly cleaning and the gym is always sanitized. It’s spacious with lots of equipment the layout makes sense, and the staff are always friendly.
Fantastic experience: The staff is friendly and helpful! Shout out to Robert for stashing my stuff in the lost and found, that one day I forgot my bag the locker room lol. Not the biggest or fanciest gym, but I like the people so I would recommend.
Negative experience: My daughter who was 16 went with a friend to use a guest pass.. for whatever reason she was not able to use the pass that day and a employee signed her up with her own account. Informed her it would be $10/month. We then start getting charged $19 plus $49. I see the charges and call to inquire about the $10/month vs charges I see. After being told they no longer have $10/month and that my daughter was confused I asked to cancel her plan. They said it would need to be done in person After asking how her account was open in the first place.. they first said she had a guardian sign her up, after asking who that was they told me she presented an ID that showed she was 19 After going in the gym .. we find out they have no ID on file and no signed guardian forms. This location is opening up accounts for minors and charging them premium amounts for monthly charge. Edgar the manager apologized, closed the account and so called reimbursed her account. As of now, we haven’t been reimbursed and I have left 3 messages for a manager and still no return call! Be careful .. this location seems to be more interested in taking minors money then following the propers rules and procedures!

Fantastic experience: Usually only go to the (former) UFC side, but have worked out on the Crunch side and have never had a bad experience. It's actually the cleanest Crunch gym I've ever been to. Contracts, I see so many reviews about people complaining about Contracts. I don't get it, they're pretty straight forward to me and again, never had issues with them.

Negative experience: So, this gym clearly has zero interest in following rules. I’ve been coming here for about a month and honestly I won’t be coming back. In regards to Covid, I’m amazed how they’ve managed to stay open. I’ve not once seen any employee sanitize any equipment or even re-rack weights. The sanitizing stations are always empty and not nearly enough of them. I usually go at 5am and they have a group fitness class that is directly in front on the door to get to the outside weight area which is insane to me as 90% of those attending are not wearing a face mask, literally not even the instructor is wearing one properly. Having one door open is not proper ventilation and having to walk in front of people secreting is insane and dangerous. They have indoor treadmills with people also not wearing face masks, this again is reckless if not negligent. While, I understand that they are trying to stay in business by not following rules and asking members to do the same they are putting their business and members at risk. I’ve also arrived at 7pm and this place is filled with people, again no capacity control nor proper face masks being worn. I will be going to 24 hours in Burbank, at least they have a reservation system to keep crowding to a minimum and they DON’T hold a cardio group class indoors... reckless and grossly negligent. My next step is to inform the health department.

Negative experience: Not please how they are handling contracts during the pandemic haven't been since Feb/March and have no plans to go back anytime soon due to pre-existing medical conditions so a few day extension on my contract does little for me as the earliest I see myself going back to the gym is post vaccine season 06/2021+.

Negative experience: In my opinion, Crunch San Dimas is in breach of contract. My husband and I started back to the gym in July but decided not to anymore once we found out they were moving equipment outside due to covid guidelines. Unfortunately when I signed up I opted for the one year contract that fines you if you cancwl early. Qll, considering it's a year of special circumstances and the gym just isn't offering what they advertised, I asked to cancel. Not to mention, they did not communicate any type of email with their intentions to move outside. I emailed Spencer, the manager and after a week, still didn't get a response. My husband and I went in and staff were standing around, and Spencer was in the back office as I could see him. I informed the staff member at the counter that I was not happy with the new protocol, the weather was over 100 degrees, the lack of wipes, and it wasn't stated anywhere in the contract that in the event of a disaster, epidemic, etc that you may be expected to work out outdoors. Spencer came out from the back office, was very argumentative and not accommodating at all. He said because I was locked into the one year contract, I could not cancel, there would be a fee. I told him the gym was in breach of contract and because I have a medical condition, I could not work outdoors due to the heat and air quality from the fires. I was surprised they were even allowing members outdoors. He would not budge and the only option I had was to freeze my membership. Come now, we are in October and my husband and I discovered that the Rancho gym was operating indoors. We reactivate our membership at the San Dimas location and I encounter Alex, one of the CEOs. I explained my frustration and disappointment with Crunch and again tried to cancel, but of course, he too would not budge and made am excuse that this is the only way to operate and stay open for their members.....NO, it's the only way you can charge for membership fees. He offered no discount, nothing so we went ahead amd reactivated and I mentioned I would definitely be canceling once the contract expires. After 3 weeks of a long drive we decide to attempt San Dimas which is still operating outdoors. Well, big mistake. There is a limited number of machines available, it's dirty, there's graffiti on the walls, a bad stench, poor lighting, no time clocks, and talk about a lack of physical distancing.....the machines are in top of each other. Inside, you had way more space. To me, this is a violation of the health department guidelines notnto mention the lack of cleanliness. Once again, this is not what I signed up for ans believe Crunch is in breach of contract due to the circumstances that everyone is experiencing this year. I got on one machine because more than half of the equipment is inside. It's definitely NOT what is advertised on their website. Possibly looking into a class action lawsuit. Anyone with me?! Hopefully a visit from the health department is in their future.

Negative experience: Just officially canceled this sketchy gym today. I would not recommend ANY Crunch Fitness. When gyms were allowed to reopen they didn't add anymore sanitation stations, the stations they did have usually were mostly out if not all of them sometimes, there has been times with no soap in the restrooms, and the location is dirty. This location only has one employee working at a time so there is no way they could keep up on cleaning and maintaining the location. The management is very rude and condescending. When I have tried to notify them of the state of their location they didn't believe me and wanted proof. After emailing to make a complaint about them not enforcing masks to be worn after the state made it a requirement I got an email back with paperwork of my cancelation which I DID NOT request. I called and talked to a manager who said he would change it. The next day the Governor classed gyms. I assumed my gym was closed but it turned out they never did regardless of State health requirements. When I called today to cancel since I can't stand the thought of giving these people any more money I was met with opposition and the excuse I was given was that other gyms are open. This turned out to be true, Crunch fitness all over are operating illegally still. I would not recommend ANY Crunch Fitness.

Negative experience: It's a decent facility but nothing like what we have back home. The worst part of the experience was being told "I don't think we accept memberships from out of the country" because we have our Crunch membership out of the Las Cruces NM, USA location

Fantastic experience: Great machines are top notch and the people working there are very helpful.
Fantastic experience: Gym is clean. Staff friendly and welcoming. Took a Tai box class with Anastasia she was great. Chuck and Xavier explained the gym and personal trainer options. I sign up. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: Julia was very helpful with every aspect if my visit definitely would come back and workout again if I’m ever in the area.
Fantastic experience: Awesome place. Girlfriend and I were looking for a new gym after getting tired of the crowds and heat that always plague LA Fitness. Heard good things about Crunch through a friend and checked it out ourselves. They have all the equipment we could need or want, and the classes are great as well.
