Our comment from FitFit United States about AZ Dynasty Gymnastics, Cheer and Dance:
Welcome to AZ Dynasty Gymnastics, Cheer and Dance, a premier facility located in Avondale, Arizona, known for its exceptional coaching and supportive environment. Our dedicated team of coaches, including the highly praised Coach Dan and Coach Emily, are committed to providing personalized instruction that helps every athlete grow and excel in their skills.
Many parents have shared positive experiences regarding the individual attention their children receive, leading to remarkable skill development and confidence. One appreciative parent noted that their daughter quickly gained the confidence to perform an aerial after just a few sessions.
Clients frequently praise our top-notch facilities and welcoming atmosphere. Even when unexpected circumstances arise, like a hurricane displacing families, we strive to support our athletes and make them feel at home.
However, some users have expressed concerns about communication and operational efficiency. A few parents reported issues related to scheduling and clarity on gym operations, such as availability of open gym sessions and responsiveness to inquiries.
Despite occasional challenges, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with families appreciating our family-oriented approach, vibrant community, and dedicated staff. We are also recognized for our successful competitive teams, having achieved numerous accolades and titles.
If you’re looking for a place where your child can thrive in gymnastics, cheer, or dance, AZ Dynasty is highly recommended for its excellent coaching, supportive environment, and focus on the well-being of every athlete.
AZ Dynasty Gymnastics, Cheer and Dance: Opinions

Fantastic experience: This gym and its coaches are absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend them—5 out of 5 stars! The facilities are top-notch, and the coaches provide fantastic guidance. After just four classes, my twins progressed from doing a round-off tuck to doing aerials, round-off back handspring tucks, and even round-off back handspring combinations to tuck! My youngest also improved, working on her round-off tuck and successfully achieving an aerial. We found ourselves unexpectedly in Arizona due to a hurricane, and this gym welcomed us with open arms! They helped my daughters maintain and advance their skills. They truly made us feel like part of their family during our time here. I can’t recommend AZDynasty enough!
Thank you so much for the review! Your children was a joy to coach for the brief time that they were here in Arizona. We pray that you have a safe return back to North Carolina. We are rooting for your girls cheer season and we wish them all the best! They are extremely amazing, hardworking, and dedicated athletes. Come visit us again when you are back in town!
Negative experience: I call TWICE to confirm that there is open gym and BOTH times they’d said yes, with prices included. Once I got to the location there was nobody at the front desk and classes were in session, so there was no open gym!
♀️♀️ Of course classes will be in session during business hours! We are an extremely busy training facility that specializes in class instruction. We have had thousands of other people do open gym at our facility for past 10 YEARS , so don’t know what to tell you. ♀️
Negative experience: I gave this place a 1 star review because of the way they handle their business. And decided to leave a one star review with no explanation and leave it at that. But they want to lie and say that we have never had an experience at their facility. Well, our 2 daughters went here in 2022 from August to October. One daughter was in tumbling and the other was the 1 and only student in their rec hip hop class. They were in their little showcase in the middle of October. We still have the black studded shirts that say Dynasty on them. So funny how we've never been. Their showcase that they were in that they received these shirts from was ridiculous. We had to drop them off prior to the show, which was fine. However, when we walked in the workers right by the door could not tell us where to go. It took like 5 minutes for them to figure out where my daughters needed to be. Talk about unorganized. And then, when we finally got in, we invited some friends, they gave us the entrance money to give to the gym because they said it was so hectic to get in and they didn't know where or who to give the money to, again with the disorganization. Finally we get to the show. We got to see all the kids show off their hard work. The wife owner yells at them in the middle of the show, I mean if she's yelling at them in the middle of the show, how do they talk to them during practice?? As the show comes to end my daughter who is in hip hop still hasn't gone up to show her routine, which she was beyond excited to go because it was basically a solo and she was looking forward to that. The lady starts doing her closing remarks and I can see my daughter crying her eyes out. We're like what is happening, why didn't she get her chance to shine like the others??? The daughter whispers something to the mom. AND INSTEAD OF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR HER MISTAKE SHE BLAMES MY DAUGHTER!!! the audacity. She says we have a little girl who is so nervous that she didn't want to come up, but a friend will join her. Are you kidding??? My daughter practiced hard and was looking forward to going up on her own. To put that on a little girl who is already upset because she was forgotten?! We pulled them out immediately. And went over to the studance lab just down the way for a much better experience. They have tumbling and a much better hip hop program. Also, I see how whoever responds always attacks the negative reviews and will put the family or kids on blast. This is a horrible business ran by a horrible person. I would recommend anyone to stay away from people and businesses like this. Again, the studance lab just across the way is a much better choice and they care about their students and talk to them With respect and their shows are very organized. I would also not believe any review response that says the person has never been because that's what they said about my 1 star with no description review.
There is no record of this person ever being a client. None of our staff has ever worked or talked to this person. They have never had an experience at our facility. This is illegal slander.
Negative experience: I was not happy with the owner's comment, when I shared my 3 year old is getting negative reinforcement when she doesn't listen such as not getting a treat while the rest of the girls get a treat and eat it in front of her. I was immediately told that this program must not be for her even when I suggested that she can leave prior to the girls receiving the treat. The instructor had said she wasn't the only one that doesn't listen but she doesn't listen the most. When I tried to explain, the owner didn't even want to acknowledge my concern since it was her daughter that teaches the class. That's another thing, I was paying a lot of money for a youth to teach the class. Thankfully there are very nice parents and lids that attend and every time she was excluded a child would share their treat with her after class...at least our children know what's right and wrong.
AZ Dynasty is a family owned business. The coach that this person mentioned a certified USA Gymnastics Instructor and daughter of the owner. Our Toddler Tumbling class is one of the most popular and loved classes we have at the gym. The class that her daughter was in was one of our lowest/youngest classes for toddlers $50 per month for 4 classes at 30 minutes per session. Multiple times the coach and myself told the parent that the treat that her daughter was very upset not receiving at the end of her LAST practice was a treat brought in by the parents of a birthday girl that was handed out in a TOTALLY DIFFERENT CLASS AND TIME SLOT FOR A TEAM OF CHEERLEADERS FOR CELEBRATING ONE OF THEIR TEAMMATES BIRTHDAY. The mother was upset because one of the little girls in her daughter’s class received a treat that night along with the other cheerleaders because she happened to be the sibling of the birthday girl who was celebrating her birthday. The coach explained it to the mother and so did I. We give out stickers to our toddlers at the end of each class if their EARNED a new skill or for listening appropriately during class. This has been a great system and have had great success with number of toddlers advancing to competitive teams over the course of time. Multiple times after prior end of class sessions, the coach had gone to this parent with concerns of her daughter not following instructions during class. The following are examples of her daughter disrupting the class (These issues occurred at different class sessions when her daughter attended class): the little girl pushed one of the classmates causing to fall pretty bad and get hurt, she had ran off from her class multiple times almost running into other tumblers in other classes, and she has jumped on equipment without permission that could have gotten herself hurt. I explained to the mother about safety and USA Gymnastics protocol for safety. The mother ignored the issues about safety that we explained to her. She did not deny her daughter jumping on equipment when she was not suppose to, but combatted that she seen one other toddler do it too. We explained that we cannot award this behavior with a sticker at end of class when other toddlers actually make an effort to listen to the coach. The parent then asked instead if I had another classes for toddlers. I told her we did have any other recreational toddler classes and that we will still have the same safety issue if it was not addressed about her daughter. Not having another toddler class and that the coach and myself kept addressing the safety issue did not please the mother.
Fantastic experience: We had a hard time finding a gymnastics that could teach our daughter her aerial. After weeks of looking I found AZ Dynasty. I made the call and spoke with Ingrid and explained to her what I was looking for and she connect me with coach Dan. Within a couple of days we had our daughter being coached my Dan. Our daughter was nervous but Dan made her feel very comfortable. I was impressed how nice the facility was and how Dan was coaching our daughter. After two practices already our daughter now has the confidence to do her aerial and will continue to work with Dan. I am so thankful we found this place for our daughter and I will be recommending other dancers from our studio here.
Thank you so much for the review! We love what we do and we are thrilled to see the growth in our students!
Negative experience: AZ Dynasty needs to work on their communication. I tried for a while to get information/signed up for one of their classes. All calls go to voicemail, and emails were left unread... I referred to their social media for information on the class. I drove 45 minutes to attend a drop in based on the information on their social media, only to be standing at the front desk for 30 minutes for someone to assist with signing in. Not a single person came to help. And from the look of it, the class I came for wasn't going on at the time they promoted. (inaccurate information) Such a complete waste of time. It's a bummer because it may have been a place I would have enjoyed. Update: The "email" shown in their response below was an inquiry from APRIL 2022, & not at all about the acro class I tried to get information about/attend now. However, I did notice (because of this review) I did finally get a response to the actual email I sent 2 weeks ago (& previously ignored ones) asking about the acro class I was interested in. (shown in my screenshot) They also updated their IG posts about the class with accurate information. So, that's a positive. At least others won't be disinformed.
THIS PERSON IS CLAIMING TO ATTEND A CLASS THAT IS NOT SCHEDULED TO START UNTIL A MONTH LATER. They made a mistake and came IN THE WRONG MONTH. This person never signed up / registered for any of our classes. They came to attend a class that was scheduled to start in June in the month of May. GOOGLE REVIEW DOES NOT PROVIDE BUSINESS OWNERS THE ABILITY TO SCREEN SHOT: WE PERSONALLY RESPOND TO EVERY REVIEW. We are a small family owned business. Unfortunately the full information is not being displayed from this persons updated post. I sent her the screenshot from our social media about the class that states Adult Acro starts in JUNE. The person originally asked for Adult Gymnastics which we do not offer and do not have on our website. We suggested Acro. We have talked to this person several times via email about Adult Classes. THEY NEVER PROVIDED A PHONE NUMBER. Cannot call or return a phone call without a phone number provided. We have responded to this via email. We checked out records for voicemail and they left us no voice message or phone number: HERE IS THE EMAIL WE RECEIVED FROM THEM- Name Ariel Email [email protected] Phone 00000000 Message Do you offer adult gymnastics Device mobile Language en-US Submitted from Non competitive classes The class you requested doesn't start until JUNE! It is even posted on our website AND social media. The month is still MAY. The information is correct everywhere we posted. We have already had several attend Open Gym during the allotted times we advertised. There is a sign at our front desk that outlines the OFFICE HOURS 9am to 4pm. Gym hours after 5pm.
Fantastic experience: We love this gym! My daughter has grown so much!!
Thank you so much for the review!
Fantastic experience: I am so thankful we found this place for our daughter ! Moving across country was a huge change for her. So thankful for the staff and coach Emily. Ava adores you guys ! Thank you 10/10 recommend!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! We are excited to have Ava at our studio. Welcome again to Arizona!
Fantastic experience: Incredible facility and people. I bring my USA dive team every week for Tumbling and Trampoline to enhance their mechanics, form and confidence. In addition to coaching club dive, I have coached with national team and international competitions. They studied USA dive tumbling skills just for us. These people are professional, dedicated and caring. They work with my young novice up to my national champions. I trust them!
Thank you for the kind words. We enjoy coaching your athletes! Thanks for trusting us in their additional training. We can’t wait to hear how they progress at their meets! Go USA DIVE TEAMS!
Fantastic experience: Me a Gustado mucho se toman el tiempo de enseñarle a cada niño. Y muy amplio si vale lo que cuesta
Thank you for the kind words!
Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed in this place to say the least. Today was supposed to be the Fall Showcase and parents had to drop off kids before the event to rehearse and get ready (which I completely understand) however, I get there and my toddler goes inside alone and I see her looking around and feeling lost since NO one is in charge of these toddlers. My daughter starts crying and I can’t get to her since they wouldn’t allow me inside! It was total chaos in that gym. You got coach Ingrid yelling to all kids and this scares my toddler even more. I proceed to ask coach to please allow me to take her to where she is supposed to be since no one is looking after her and she says, “No!” And shuts the door on me again. Is this professional behavior from her? No, I don’t think so and other parents who had toddlers felt the same way when they saw what happened. I kept knocking on the door to get my daughters shoes and water bottle back and I had to wait for them to come get the door. How am I supposed to trust this place when the coaches are also kids themselves ?? Would you drop off your toddler in a big gym with many many older kids running around and can possibly hurt your kid? Coach, you are taking big responsibility for taking over toddlers and not having anyone and I mean ANYONE watch them. You need more order in this place and perhaps adults who know what they are doing. Once again, super disappointed in coaches behavior today. You CANNOT treat toddlers same way as a 10 year old. Safety should always be a priority especially when it comes to the younger ones. If you have a toddler, DO NOT bring them here unless you are comfortable with leaving them unsupervised with other teens and kids.
MISSING CRUCIAL INFORMATION FROM THE REVIEW: This person did not like the owner telling her that unless she were background-checked through proper channels, she would not be allowed inside with the other children before the start of the show. We take the safety of our children very seriously and make no exceptions. I am a 51-year-old lady who talked directly to this person and greeted her at the door with her child at the event. We have several background checked staff members (mind you, you have to be over 21 years old, by the way, to be background-checked). Yes, we have teenagers that work for us. What other businesses also have teenagers working for them?? You hope people are honest when they post these reviews for the public. However, everything that is stated in the above review is not valid and leaves out critical information. We had several background-checked coaches to get the children ready for the event who were allowed to be with the children. We had a 52-year-old, a 40-something-year-old, a 19-year-old, a 30-year-old, and five other coach/ Jr Coaches. All the athletes were highly excited about the Showcase, and of course, there were many people at the initial drop-off. It seemed chaotic because all the athletes were being dropped off by their parents at the same time as this mother dropped off her daughter. The little girl was not alone because I was with her. I am a 51-year-old owner of the business, and I personally brought the little girl directly to her mother, who was at the entrance, because the little girl wanted her mother and was extremely nervous about the performance. When the mother dropped her off, the little was already crying. One of the coaches tried to comfort her, but she wanted her mother. The little girl even stated, "I want my mother." I brought her to her mother, who was waiting at the door's entrance. The mother requested to come in and stay with (the 200-plus children ranging from 3 years old and up before the Fall recital started). Yes, I told her directly "No" and "sorry, but unfortunately, unless she is background checked as the other coach staff and volunteer staff have all on file with our organization. Our background check is with USA Gymnastics, USASF, and WASF. Since the mother is not background checked, she would not be allowed to stay with the other children. Our policy is that we cannot allow unauthorized adults at our studio with the children without the other parent's permission and not being background checked. The event was scheduled to start within an hour and a half of the children being dropped to allow time for warmups for all of the programs, for kids to be lined up for performance, and get ready to perform in front of over 450 spectators. Parents and students enjoyed the Showcase, and we had several people rave about the event. Never once was any child left unsupervised. This person did not like that I told her that since she was not background checked, she could not be around the other children. I am unapologetic about children's safety and following rules. We have hundreds of children from toddlers and up, and parents entrust my staff with the proper background checks and accreditations to be alone with them. This is a new month, and if the other parents agreed with her, then why is our retention still highly high for our Toddler Classes and even almost maxed out? We are blessed to have our other classes maxed out and on the Waitlist. Our gym also has full viewing windows of all our classes for our parent's convenience.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Az Dynasty!!! They give individual attention to the kids with a tailored approach to learning. The kids are continually moving during the session which helps the mastery of the skill. Coach Emily, Dan & Ingrid are amazing with the kids!
Thank you so much for the review. We love coaching and experience the athlete’s accomplishments along with them.
Fantastic experience: I used to come to AZ dynasty and has a great experience with the coaches and athletes. I had an awesome time when I was there! FIVE STARS!
Thank you so much for the review!!! We are happy that you had a great time! We hope you come visit when back in our area!
Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about the birthday party that we held for my daughter at AZ Dynasty! The owners went above and beyond all of my expectations when it came to decorating and hosting the party. It was amazing to have the coaches take charge to get the girls fed, the cake served, and gifts opened all while leaving plenty of time to enjoy all of the fun activities available in the huge gym. Not only were the coaches present and ensuring the children were using the equipment safely, they also played several games that the girls really enjoyed. And the best part is, you don’t have to share the gym with any other parties! It was a very personalized experience and they even provided tons of photos and videos so we didn’t have to worry about that part either. I would highly recommend AZ Dynasty to anyone looking for a place to host their child’s birthday party!
Thank you so much for the kind words. We love celebrating birthdays and we are honored that you chose our facility to host your special persons big day!
Fantastic experience: This place is great. Coaches are great with my 7 year old daughter. Strict but fair and encouraging!
Thank you so much for the referral!
Negative experience: Run fast and far from this place. They will steal your money. Low quality instruction, poor management, uncaring, disorganized desk staff. There are plenty of other options in this area. Don’t subject your child to this place.
We question the validity of this review. This person reviews are from state of Georgia and we are in Arizona. In 2022 AZ Dynasty 7 All Star Cheer teams won 45 first place, 7 second place, and 7 third place for All Star Cheer. They also won in 2022 three National titles, 5 teams won Grand Championship jackets, 7 Grand Champion Rings, 5 paid bids to national events. Our Hip Hop Dance team was undefeated and won Worlds Title in Florida. Our gymnastics team individuals won over 60 Gold medals. We are a very small family owned business that won by the city of Goodyear, Arizona an award to have the best business in gymnastics, cheer, and dance. We have the cheapest tuition in the West Valley. Every Dynasty All Star team ranked top 10 in the Nation and 4 of the 7 ranked number 1 in the Nation for The Open Championship. We have children of city officials and children of local school principals that attend our gym. Visit our social media to see the thousands of athletes that we helped became World and National Champions. Thank you for the review so that it gave an opportunity to brag on our amazing staff and athletes that are making history in our community. We are truly blessed.
Negative experience: Be careful with this company and prepaying. I was paying for my granddaughters lessons, she decided she was no longer interested. We were told there is a 2 week cancellation fee. Because may had 5 weeks my credit card was charged the full $110.00 which non is refundable. What happen to the two weeks.... I believe in paying what I owe but not to be scammed because we are good customers and pay our bill upfront. Plus if you send them an email, you never get a response.
We searched our database for this person but nothing is coming up as a past or current client. We are sorry, but if you were a past client you misunderstand our policy that has been in effect for over 8 years. There is a “two week notice before the 1st of the next month to cancel an athlete’s membership. Classes are limited to only 8 and there are waitlisted athletes that are prohibited to attend class if another athlete does not notify if they no longer are attending.” There is no “2 week cancellation fee”. Also outlined in agreements and policy when registering and clients agree that there are some months of the year that have 5 weeks instead f 4 weeks. It is outlined in the agreement and within the description of the class that the client chooses that there will be an additional week charge for months with 5 weeks, such as the month of May. We also will prorate months that have holidays and do NOT charge for class days that fall on a holiday. We respond to emails from all inquiries and phone calls too. We have an automatic CRM system that records all correspondence.

Thank you much for the awesome review. We appreciate it!
Fantastic experience: Really like the owners and the staff. They taught me a skill and I still have it. Thanks ya'll!
Thank you for your review! We look forward to seeing you and working with you again!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my daughter to Az dynasty for cheer and tumbling for almost a year now. In that short year, the growth I have seen in her has been nothing short of amazing. Her coaches are all so wonderful and she always seems to be grinning from ear to ear when I pick her up. Her older brother has also recently joined their TNT program and he is really enjoying his classes as well. They both have made lots of friends and been able to progress in skills with the one on one attention they receive from coaches. Highly recommend.
Randee, the best part of our job is helping our students achieve their goals. It's wonderful to see the growth and progress your daughter has made in cheer and tumbling. Both of the kids are big part of the Dynasty family and are extremely adored! Looking forward to seeing where the TNT program takes your son! -Ingrid C., Owner
Fantastic experience: Great facilities and great and knowledgeable staff. Always happy to help and teach
Thank you for the review!
Fantastic experience: Every business has it's pros and cons. You can't make everyone happy. In my case, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. My daughter is extremely happy and has progressed so much in the past 4 years. She thrives at AZD. Ingrid, Dan, and their staff treats her like family and I appreciate their hard work!
Thank you for the awesome review!!
Fantastic experience: Great place for children to learn coaches are awesome
Penny, thank you for the compliments to our coaches! I appreciate your feedback! -Ingrid C., Owner
Fantastic experience: Our kids love their coaches and individual attention at AZ Dynasty! Being a family owned and operated facility has really made our experience amazing. Dan and Igrid treat all participants like family while providing a healthy athletic environment that promotes both competitive and recreational cheer, dance, gymnastics tumbling and trampoline. In a few months we will have been with them for 2 years. The friendships and relationships my kids have made have helped build confidence and improved their self esteem. Right now my kids are really missing their friends and Coaches and look forward to going back! See you soon!!! I recommend this place if you are looking for a great experience for your children and teens.
Julie, we're proud to be family-owned and operated. We're missing your kids too and looking forward to getting back in the gym! -Ingrid C., Owner

Thank you for the review!
Fantastic experience: Happy 5 year anniversary AZ Dynasty !! As I reflect on blessings of owning and coaching at this gym, I still amazed of the outstanding talent right here in West Valley that I have the honor to teach technique and skills to.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful coaches and a great environment for the kids! Students definitely get their fast here.
Thank you for you review!
Fantastic experience: This place rocks. Daughter took some private tumbling lessons now she wants to be on their squad.
Thank you for the review!
Fantastic experience: I am one of the AZD All Star cheerleaders. The coaches love you and treat you like their own kids. I have learned so much from the coaches and have gained a lot of new skills since I started in May. I was able to participate in many fun community events and was even on TV.
Fantastic experience: BEST cheer gym ever! My daughter has been coming to AZ Dynasty for about 8 months now and has gained so many new skills in such a short amount of time. The coaches are AMAZING! It’s a family atmosphere where the coaches care about not only the athletes but the whole family. They also have the best prices for All-Star Cheer. AZD has a non-profit booster club that is ran by the parents and offers tons of fundraising opportunity for raising money to pay for cheer. I feel very informed about where my money is going and they are very up front. The kids are involved in many community events and have even been on TV. I can’t say enough wonderful things about AZD.
Thank you for the review!!
Fantastic experience: Great place

Positive experience: Coaches are great yet the staff could do more. We would like to see, a few more comfortable chairs, viewing glass should always be crystal clear.
Thank you for the review!
Fantastic experience: Awesome families and athletes that go here!!!
Fantastic experience: We wanted to say thank you for everything. Our daughter is on her elite dance team and tried out for the elite company team (the best of the elites) and we found out this morning that she made it on the team. Her dancing, tumbling, timing, and focus skills matured so much while she was at AZ Dynasty! You are doing such a wonderful job and we wanted to let you know how appreciative we are for the hard work you put in with her!
Fantastic experience: Daughter loved it
Negative experience: The coaches were nice but mostly teens and then I was bullied because the apparently had a zero tolerance for bulling we told the owner of the gym and she did nothing I continued to get bullied the only solution was to have me a child stand in front of people and talk about what happened. When we left we said I may be perusing a new sport because there was a possibility I was going to do volleyball. The coaches that were supposed to be certified made me and my sister on a special event day run outside bare foot on the road.
No matter the age of our coaches at our facility, they are all USA Gymnastics certified Instructors. This contributes to our continued growth of our athletes, strong retention, and increase in membership. There is obviously more to this story than is reported by this individual. I am surprised to see this message when this person has not been at our facility for a couple of years and thought have moved on to another place for traininig. Unfortunately, with social media it only provides a one dimension view instead of a multi-dimensional truth of an instance that occurred. We do have zero tolerance for bullying at our facility. We followed protocal handling complaints on bullying and discovered there was more to the story. We tried to provide a solution for everyone involved to talk, but this person and her parents chose to not meet to talk and discontinued their membership, which is their prerogative. They in turn told us that this person and sibling was going to do totally different sports and no longer had interest in continuing in the sport we provide. Well that was not true........We hope you find happiness, honesty, and truth.
Negative experience: Rating because EVERY TIME I call NO ONE ANSWERS the phone or returns my calls and I’ve been calling since June ♀️
We are sorry that we missed your calls. However, AZ Dynasty have checked all voice messages and never received a message from this person. We also checked our records and this person never was a client of AZ Dynasty.
Fantastic experience: Daughter loved it
Thank you for the review!!
Fantastic experience: I am one of the AZD All Star cheerleaders. The coaches love you and treat you like their own kids. I have learned so much from the coaches and have gained a lot of new skills since I started in May. I was able to participate in many fun community events and was even on TV.
Thank you for the review!! =)
Negative experience: They wont refund my money and are ignoring me. I would give zero stars if I could.
This person was never ignored, but was handled appropriately. It is very unfortunate the approach this person took in retaliation of their athlete's placement on their team, perjuring themselves, harassing the daughter of the owner of AZ Dynasty, and breach of contract due to multiple issues. 1) This person complained about the placement of their athlete that just gained level 2 skills a couple for months ago to be on a level 3 team which did not have any of the skill sets to be on. We have copy of multiple emails after tryouts from this person inquiring the team her athlete was placed on. AZ Dynasty responded every time to their email inquiries to why the athlete that just gained level 2 skills did not make a level 3 team. AZ Dynasty hired professional judges for team placements this year. One of the judges is a certified USASF judge for All Star Cheer and they assessed the skills of all of AZ Dynasty athletes and placed them on teams according for their skills they performed during tryouts. 2) After team placements were announced and AZ Dynasty emails explaining to why their athlete did not make a level 3 team and was not considered right away as a crossover, they still signed the contract and paid deposits. 3) Days after signing the contract to commit to the season, this person emailed requested more tumbling classes, came to fittings for uniform and practice wear, and requested to purchase more merchandise (which is all documented in email correspondence). 4) A week goes by after this person signed contract, AZ Dynasty received an email from this person insulting other athletes on the team her athlete was placed on (which is against code of conduct in the contract), asked again about team placement at the facility again and how they thought their athlete should have been on a higher level even though they agreed in the email their athlete did not exhibit having skills now or during tryouts for level 3. They requested to no longer have their athlete continue the season because (stated in their email) they did not like the team placements. 5) now they are in breach of contract This situation is being handled through the appropriate channels due to the degree that they chose to approach this matter.
Negative experience: Well they preach "We are a Family", well they showed their showed their true colors today. My daughter cheered for the team and decided to move gyms. Before she moved gyms, we worked at the Cardinals stadium for money for tuition. Well we had over $1200 in funds that we had coming to us when we left, I understand we could not take the money, but I wanted to donate it to my daughter’s friends account that is on the team. People that need money as they are just getting by, but when I asked AZ Dynasty to move the money to the others account they said they could not do that, and the money was in the general fund (In their pocket). They do not have enough kids and most of the kids are cross teamed, (More money) to be on both teams. If your child is not one of the better tumblers or stand in front of them and beg for help, they will be left to fend for themselves. We did a lot for AZ Dynasty in the year and a half we were there, and a lot of the people were nice, but there is A LOT OF DRAMA. I know the girls are teens, but I am talking about the parents. They will back stab and talk bad about you the first chance they get. I do not care anymore what they say about us, as we are in a much better place. They yell at your kids about respect and then every night of practice they do not respect the parents or kids by running the practice over by 30 minutes. They lie about money and that is the biggest thing they care about. I understand it is a business, but you already put together a uniform package, and then start adding things ($25 practice bow) Really!! They need a brand-new bow costing $25 for practice??? They will not tell you where ANY of your money you are paying for goes, they do not have ANY organization, they are always late to everything they plan. No one knows what to do at any time, and then it is a scramble to get things done. They will give you dates of things happening, and then a week or two before they will change them, the list of competitions is on a chalk board as they change by the week, (But remember you already paid for them). They plan a lot of things outside of the gym for promoting the gym, but it takes up whole weekend days and nights, on top of the nights you must be there. I did not want to write this, but they left me with such a bad feeling today, that I had to put this out there so anyone looking at this gym will fully understand what they are walking into.
We have amazing athletes at our facility that put the individual effort and work really had to gain their individual skills. All of our athletes earn their right to be on the team levels and divisions that they compete at our organization. We do not place athletes on a team, because they "feel" they should be on that team without the hard work to earn it. We have outstanding parents that give of their time and efforts at out programs in support of their athletes. We appreciate everyone of them. It is unfortunate that in this review only partial information is given and not a full true story of events. The fundraising that this person is mentioning is through a booster club that is separate from our company. The money does not go directly to the owners because it is a nonprofit organization. The amount they disclosed is not correct that they state they had left over. He volunteered their time through a contract with an organization that was set up with the booster club specifically raising money for active athletes of our organization participating through the booster. This person did not explain that initially they inquired to have the funds given to them which we could not because or organization is a separate entity from the booster club. An example would be a parent volunteering their time for a school booster club for their child, they left the school mid-year and the parent demands the school to hand them money they raised through the booster club since they left the school. Our corporate lawyer sent a letter explaining to him how a booster club works and to direct any further questioning to him. Yes, we have cross overs on our teams. A lot of gyms do. It is not a negative and is quite normal to have in all star cheer. We are a small D2 division gym for all star cheer. Our organization loves being a small all star cheer gym. We want to be an option for athletes that prefer small gyms over large gyms in division D1. We do not charge additional tuition for being a cross over. The only additional cost is the fees that competition vendors charge for participating in their championships on multiple teams. We openly explain what our fees covers, just as we explained to this individual. The purchasing of the merchandise that was mentioned in the review were optional purchase for returning athletes and not mandatory, such as the practice bow, which is a basic price for a bow....go to any cheer competition and price out bows.
Negative experience: This is a very unorganized place to take your children. They will not give disclosure on why and how much they charge for their services, unlike the new place we found. When approached or contacted about the fees they duck and run and avoid giving an honest answer. Stay away from this place since they dont even have enough staff to train and teach properly any skills. Plus some of the coaches cant even do most the stunts and maneuvers they are trying to teach to young athletes. They seem to be understaffed for a cheer gym of this size. Take you hard earned money elswhere and you will be better served. They also will charge your account for fees for services not rendered until they get confronted. Their front office staff and info is a total disaster when trying to get information no one knows anything and they all seem to be very confused about who is doing what there. Their communication is horrible and they rarely ever respond to emails or texts or phone calls.
Our all star cheer coaches have been on level 5 all star cheer, college cheer, and world level all star cheer teams, so they obviously know the proper technique to stunt. This parent has never participated in any of our practices, so the information they are relaying is incorrect about our coaches not being able to stunt. Our teams have won division championships, national championships, best choreography, and bids at several all star cheer USASF sanctioned events all under the direction of our amazing coaches. Every year since our all star cheer program has started has had outstanding seasons, with every season improving the last. We are a small division D2 gym and have the coaching staff to accommodate. The owners and the staff went over in detailed with this person about costs. We even had parent meetings on separate occasions about costs to the program as a whole prior to the start of the season. We actually stayed over our closing time to go over fundraising ideas and options to aid in their situation about keeping two of their athletes in the program.
