Fantastic experience: It is the gym to which I am a member, with a very pleasant atmosphere, machines that really work very well each muscle that each person wants to exercise; I recommend it.

Negative experience: Unclean and disorganized to the point you will spend half your workout looking for weights. They invest in new ideas constantly and dont focus on quality. Staff is eh, one guy who actualy does work, greets you, and changes out the towels to wipe down equipment, other than him no one else does it. It has a good choice of old equipment that feels on the verge of breaking, Old plates, lockers are unclean and the sauna im sure isnt cleaned at all. Staff does bare min to maitain gym. My advice, look elsewhere. PLANT FITNESS IS BETTER QUALITY. DO NOT SIGN HERE.
Negative experience: So disappointing. This gym offers no discount plans for seniors. This is a locally owned business. It is sad they show no interest in serving a large part of the community. Seniors.

Positive experience: I was only visiting the area and was able to join for a month. There were a variety of workout equipment which mostly met my needs. Some were quite rarely seen which I thought was interesting to try. One of my concerns though was the method of wiping down the equipments. A few cloths were provided with a cleaning spray. However, the cloths were meant to be reused and there was also no differentiating between the clean and used cloths. The cloths were also dumped together in a pile which does not allow for airing out. We also used the childcare services at the gym. Overall, my kids liked the toys and activities provided in there, such as the big slide and other fun toys like the grocery stand. I wasn't a big fan of the tv screen in there as I would rather my kids play and engage with other kids. However, one huge concern I had was the presence of ants in the childcare area. I had placed my diaper bag on the ground under the hooks by the wall (I wanted my kids to be able to grab their water bottles so I left it on the ground). When I came to pick it up upon leaving, I noticed a bunch of ants crawling all over the bottom of my diaper bag and all over the water bottles. There were approximately 50-70 ants. There were a few dry crumbs in the bottle holder on the side of my bag and they appeared within a short time (I was there less than an hour). Unfortunately I did not get to mention it to the childcare staff right then as I hurried to the bathroom to wash them all off, which took a long time. I usually place my diaper bag in our usual gym childcare (sometimes on the floor too) and ants do not appear even with a few crumbs there, which is why I thought to bring it up and hopefully if any gym staff reads this, that they could perhaps consider doing a check for ants and possibly even a chemical spray in that area (when the childcare is closed of course). I am just glad that the ants did not crawl onto any kids and that my kids did not get their bottles to drink during that time, which would have been pretty nasty. If these issues were resolved, I could consider returning in future as there are other good points as mentioned. Just fyi, I was there in late October when this happened. Thank you.
Positive experience: I used to enjoy this gym. For the most part, it is a solid gym. It has everything you need - or atleast everything I needed, personally. I was a gym regular, attending 4-5 days a week. I went in, worked out, spoke to no one, bothered no one, and left. Then near the end of COVID things got a difficult for me. I lost my financial stability due to personal matter and health issues I was facing. I failed to make my payment for three months. I owed like $350. Even if you're on a month-to-month contract, they still continue charge you monthly after you fail to make the first payment. When I was beginning to recover, I called their billings to ask how much I needed to pay to return the gym. Since I was a regular and had been for a whole year, she reduced the price by like $100, to help me get into the gym. I paid what we agreed on, but then one day I went to gym with two friends. My friends paid their visitors fees. When I scanned in, they stopped me, saying I hadn't paid my fees and refused to let me in. I was calmed at first, trying to explain to them that I had paid their fees. They told me they had no record of my payment and demanded that I show proof of my payment. I have a bad tendency to either throw away receipts or not request them. I see them as a waste of paper, not eco-friendly. I request email receipts when I can to save paper, save the trees... Lame. I know. I love trees. I tried being reasonable, and I tried controlling my frustration; but the more they refused me, the angrier I grew. Especially since the owner was patronizing. I pissed me off to hear him say things like, "How much do you "think" you paid?" When do "think" do made this payment?" He was talking down to me. In my anger I left, to try to find a stupid receipt and cool off. I was going to leave, then I remembered my friend where still inside waiting for me and they had already paid their entrance. I went back in and asked if I could atleast pay for the day and cancel my account. The owner refused to let me and said I had to "pay my fee" to cancel my account. I erupted in anger. It was only when I started cursing and raising my voice that they decided to call their billings department... where my payment suddenly appeared. What a f***ing surprise! Why couldn't they have done that from the beginning? They apologized, felt ashamed. They gave me a towel as sign of repentance. I gave the towel to my friend. I didn't want such a pitiful gift of shame. I tried to seeing eye to eye with the owner, talking things over with him, but the whole experience just left a bad taste. After that I fell sick again. I contracted a nasty pulmonary infection that had me bedridden for two months. It took me 5 months to fully recover from the infection. 5 months without work. I once again failed to pay my fees. At this point, it has been a year. I imagine I owe them a decent amount of money. A part of me wants to pay the fees, return to the gym, but the other part of me doesn't understand why I should. I am not completed irrational. I understand my sickness and financial burdens are not their responsibility, but their lack of care and respect for their customers is very off putting. I am responsible for failing to pay my fees, but they are responsible for the complete disregard they have towards their customers.
Fantastic experience: I really love it here at Just Lift, they have a variety of rooms to lift weights, it’s a 24 hour gym Monday-Thursday on Fridays they close at 11pm and Saturdays at 9. They have a variety of weights to choose from, room to stretch, boxing ring, wrestling, Zumba, they also have daycare from 4-8pm Monday through Friday and much more. They also have a variety of personal trainers that are willing to help you get fit. The people here a down to earth and chill. So if your looking for a gym Just Lift is the place for you.
Fantastic experience: This will be the most memorable gym that I’ve been to for all time! Rudy truly made everything better for me and my fitness journey especially with Joe! Thank you for everything and I hope this gym succeeds!
Negative experience: Do not waste your time with this gym and I mean waste your time if you go . If you get a locker you have to give your keys to get a key for locker , they constantly make you wait around for some body to hand you your key back . Owner seems friendly but really talks behind your back you can even see him doing it at times right in front of you . Damage to my property had occurred staff did nothing about it and snubbed me after I gave them my phone number to follow up with me no apology nothing . Staff cleans machines extra close to you with out asking if it’s okay or not . Finally when I’m up to hear with these people already they wanna tell me I can’t lift weights on one of their gym matt cause it will rip it been doing it the same way for over a year now and they wanna act like it’s something new all of the sudden when we already got issues going on it was very degrading and embarrassing . You don’t do that to people these guys need to learn true customer service because their business does call for it . This is the worst gym in town just for that . Will ruin your day your routines even your workout don’t go .

Fantastic experience: This gym is great in every aspect. The owner Rudy and his family are all nice people and will always greet you with a smile. I’ve been a member since 2017. All the machines work, everything is clean, and locker room is always clean. The gym is full of great vibes and 9 times out of 10 you’ll find members who are willing to teach you new things and proper form. Why try out any other gym , when this is the golden gym of Central Valley
Positive experience: I love this gym! My only con is that they’re not open 24 hours on the weekends, only Mon-Thurs. Please make it 24 hours everyday then it would be perfect!!

Negative experience: I used to like this gym but honestly the owner doesn’t work with anyone at all! I tried canceling and called them and they never told me I had to go in or mail a letter to cancel I was told it would be take care of since at the time the pandemic had just began, also my fiancé took his life a few months ago on top of having a new baby I never had time to go in and cancel. They could have easily done it over the phone. But instead apparently kept charging me and sent a $585 bill to collection agency even though I have not used his gym since 2020!! Two years later and still getting charged smh ridiculous … welp it can sit in collections ♀️ Good luck getting money I don’t have. And I know he has done this to a few people, seems like he’s just money hungry at this point.

Negative experience: This gym could be great but it's horribly run. It desperately needs more cables and new equipment. Most of the equipment is over 20 years old and the leather and padding are in terrible condition. It's also really dirty and it's very hot as they don't use the ac much. I'd happily pay more to have air conditioning and some new equipment. But the owner prioritizes big screen tvs, electric signs and way too much cardio equipment. Plus the owner and the trainers are constantly hitting on women. They are very unprofessional. I do not recommend this gym.

Negative experience: DO NOT. SIGN. ANYTHING. They will assure you that you can cancel anytime, then rope you into a 2 year contract you can’t get out of. They don’t tell you contract renews automatically, so unless you know your renewal date and cancel with a 30 day written notice, they will keep you in another contract. Military of Hanford have been burned by these people. Large gym, but the deception should be enough to scare you away. They will assure you the problem is fixed and take your money anyway. MANY others would tell you the exact same, if you have the opportunity, RUN. EDIT: Owner response saying this review is fake proves this immaturity!! RUNNN!!

Negative experience: I am a military member who's name was placed on a list to have my account frozen until the COV-19 situation changed and we (the military) can participate at the gym as usual. I initially came in the gym to cancel my membership once I found out about the COV-19 restriction that was placed on us and the repercussions for breaking these orders. I was convinced to put my name on a list that would freeze my account until the COV-19 situation changed. There was NO established time frame of when this would expire explained to me nor was there anything on that form I signed that I recall. It was a list of names of other military members and that’s it. Today I noticed a charge of $19 from Just Lift which doesn’t make sense to me since the military is still NOT allow to be at the gym due to COV-19. I called to have my membership cancelled and the charges reversed and I was basically told that the list I was put on was for 3 months only and that the charge would still remain as is. This is unacceptable and deceptive. If Just lift is going to resume charges for military members you should of sent and email or placed a phone call to everyone on that list alerting us that the charges will resume. In fact this was exactly how things was explained when I came in to cancel my account the first time. This is not how a business should operate and I will be alerting all other military members of what is happening as well as my bank.
Negative experience: broken equitpment, owner threatented to send to collections a co worker and myself when membership wasnt paid. Funny thing is he, the owner, made the decision not to collect memberships during Covid shut down. We had no control over paying, he made numerous social media posts on not collecting memberships but now wants to send people to collection. This guy is a total used car salesmen. Applied for Cares Act while he is buying thousands of dollars of new machines and other equitpment. Also, offers no military discounts

Positive experience: I enjoy the hours of operation at this gym. The members are all there for one thing, for self improvement. Good atmosphere. The equipment isn't the newest but it gets the job done. My concerns are the cleanliness in the corners of this gym and the water fountains that need to be updated due to lack of water pressure and how broken down they are. More cleaning stations would be better to help the members maintain the cleanliness after using equipment. The mirror by the squat racks have been broken for more than a month now, safety hazard and a bit concerning due to the lack of urgency in getting it fixed. Overall, Just Lift has a lot of things going for it. I would recommend this gym for people that are serious about fitness.
Fantastic experience: Such a fantastic transformation since Rudy took over ownership!! Physical improvements include new paint, new machines, better lighting, better equipment arrangement, & it’s clean!! Rudy has been my personal trainer for about 9 years. I now live at the coast but visit Hanford often - & always work out with Rudy when I’m there. I love the friendly atmosphere & all the new faces. Great job, Rudy!!!!!

Fantastic experience: My family and I signed up this week and we were very well taken care of. The owner is awesome and the staff was great. The gym had a make over and it is defiantly an improvement. I recommend JUST LIFT for anyone trying to better their bodies.

Negative experience: I was hopeful when this gym changed ownership but it still needs a lot of changes especially for the price when you compare it to inshape or fitness evolution. Some of the new equipment is crazy expensive that no one uses! He could have spent that money on better stuff. There's still old cables that need repair and lots of other old equipment. He spent way too much in big screen tvs. I don't go to the gym to watch tv. I go to work out. It's still really dirty and messy. Some of the trainers are really bad as well. Check out valleys gym in Visalia if you want to see what a gym should look like.
