Wilson Family Y: Opinions

Negative experience: The staff in the gym is extremely rude and they should all be replaced. I've been to this location twice and BOTH times have dealt with the rude and very unprofessional staff. When I spoke about it with the staff at another location they knew Exactly what location I was taking about and who before I even said it, which says a lot. I suggest to anyone considering signing up for a membership to go elsewhere because the management obviously doesn't care enough to address the trash attitudes of the staff.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're very sorry to hear about your experience and any frustration it may have caused. We aim to provide a welcoming and positive environment for all our members, and it’s disappointing to hear that we may have fallen short in your case. Your comments have been shared with our leadership team, and we are committed to addressing any concerns related to our staff’s professionalism and service. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and hear any additional details to make improvements. Please give us a call at 706-922-9623.
Positive experience: This gym is great for activities such as swimming,Cardio, and having an adult gym to get a good workout in. One thing about this gym that I wish they had a standing calf-raise machine otherwise this is a great gym.
Positive experience: Well, I was really impressed with Everything I saw & wanted to sign up membership right away , So I gave them my ID & my Silver Sneakers ID number .....Then I'm informed that my Medicare does not have Silver Seakers with me ......WHAT T ??? WELL WHY DO YOU THINK THEY GAVE ME THIS NO# THEN ... THEY DID NOT EVEN PUT MY NUMBER IN........ SO I WILL JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE I GUESS
Fantastic experience: Came for a birthday. The party room was very nice. Separate attached room for eating. Large castle bounce house and indoor playground with multiple slides and climbing area. Nice place for a party. Staff were very kind.
Fantastic experience: Our family recently joined the Wilson Family Y as a way to keep our family moving together. There are multiple programs for families but also for individuals such as taekwondo, fall and spring sports, swim team, crossfit, kids gym. This branch has an inside pool with four lap Lanes but also a dedicated space for open swim and classes. The outside pool offers a wide area with different types of water features as well as the pool. There are at least six lifeguards at all times, the lifeguards make sure that there are breaks for the children. When these breaks happen the children must leave the pool but the adults can continue to swim. When you arrive with small children it is advised that you check into the table underneath the tent cover to assess the child's swimming ability and they can get a band that reflects their swimming ability. The outside pool offers a large Splash Pad area, a toddler pool that is 6 inches deep, a twisty water slide, shaded lounge chairs as well as unshaded Lounge chairs and a smaller wading pool for toddlers. Inside the gym there is a weight section, a separate workout space that's smaller, an inside walking track, multiple class options, pickleball opportunities, open basketball opportunities just to name a few. We are still learning what is available. The staff are usually very helpful and polite. We are enjoying the many possibilities to keep our family moving and grooving. #gardencityrealtor
Negative experience: Don’t join to use the basketball courts for basketball because there always used for things like fake karate classes ball racquetball and other stuff.
Positive experience: I go to camp there and it kind of mid
Negative experience: My 2 boys and I went to Wilson YMCA and received a tour. The guy was great with the tour and the boys liked what was offered so I signed up the same day. 2 months later, my boys were approached by a older man (I was sidetracked by Stephanie asking me about my autopay) stating that they cant be on the machine w/o wrist bands; so we go to the counter for the bands and the lady states that my 12 yr old can’t be on the machines anymore. Stephanie doesn’t offer any other options besides walking on the indoor track. I can take them on a track for free! So I ask to cancel my membership. We had been going there for 2 months, with the 3 of us working out together and NOW you guys turn my son away?! Kids these days are overweight and inside ALL day and my boys wanted something better and the YMCA took that from them w/o other options!! Then she gets on a personal call and walks away. Oh and she said 30 days but my cancellation says 30 August! Make it make sense. UPDATE: Thank you Ms Henry for giving me a refund. The briefing of YMCA was done with my boys and I and I told him our goals. No one had a problem until 2 months later and then they could not give me a straight answer for their error! Again thank Ms A Henry for taking care of me.
Positive experience: We always go here and have a ball at the pool. They need more shaded areas, and the new umbrellas are pretty see-through, and the shade they provide isn't that great. Bring back bigger, thicker umbrellas. Not everyone wants to be in direct sunlight. In fact, most people are trying to get under the umbrellas with small children or just don't want direct sunlight.
Fantastic experience: Excellent CrossFit instructor Mike Ingle!
Fantastic experience: The employees of this facility go above and beyond to ensure the happiness of their members. A few weeks ago I lost my keys and received help trying to locate them from every member that was available to help. Not only were my keys located for me to get the next day but they also made my long day being stranded at the facility locked out of my vehicle as easy as possible for me and my kids. My kids were watched while I went through the process of locating them and given toys to play with. While waiting for pop a lock to come we ended up being there all day. Upon hearing my kids and I haven't eaten in many hours they so kindly offered us some lunch. Everyone was concerned with the issue and was as kind and courteous as possible. I am beyond thankful for how well we were treated! I will always recommend the Wilson YMCA to anyone. Thank you all!
Fantastic experience: The Wilson Family YMCA is one of my family’s go to place to workout and have fun! We love that we can go and there is so much to do and be part of. My partner wakes up early to play basketball. The outside pool is awesome. There are two splash pads, a slide separate from main pool, and a toddler pool. There are also two inside pools and a jacuzzi. Currently my son is attending swim lessons and playing baseball. When we go to workout we leave my seven year old at the kids gym. They are very organized and friendly. It’s is worth the $80 membership especially if you have a a lot of kids. That membership includes two adults and 6 dependents.
Thank you for being a member! We are glad you and your family are enjoying your membership and our amenities!
Fantastic experience: The Y is great but it’s hard to get in touch with anyone on the phone to go over issues or billing questions.
Fantastic experience: I use the pool here often for lap swim, good temperature and open most of the time. The entire facility is overall pretty good.
Negative experience: Today we came use out door pool around 2:45 pm . The supervisor lifeguard on duty told us that 3 pm they would close outside area and pool to check the chorline and water levels ! She did say we could just sit out from 3pm-4pm and wait . And use at 4 pm .. Then she rudely comes up at 3 and says you need to get out of the pool area and go use indoor pool or come back at 4pm . Very unprofessional!! You lack in communication to public !!!
I apologize for the miscommunication you received. Our outdoor pool does close from 3pm-4pm on weekdays. Lifeguards also take a break during this time, so members cannot be in the pool area due to safety concerns. During the break, members are welcome to use the indoor pool.
Fantastic experience: First time. Great experience. I felt a sense of family and connectedness from staff and other gym members. Can't wait to go back.
We are so glad you are already enjoying your time at the Wilson YMCA. We can't wait to welcome you again!
Fantastic experience: The Wilson Family YMCA in Augusta GA is the location to enjoy activities with your family and get your massage. The facility is clean and the desk staff are excellent & ethical people. but I am saving the best experience for last Augusta. It's "JC", he's one of the best additions to the Wilson Family YMCA! I've had aches & this and that for about half a year and I went to other massage places which did not deliver like JC did. Now, I am walking a revived body that is working so much better. My massage was absolutely the best of all times, I will be back! Make JC your Massage Champion Augusta community.
Positive experience: It's a nice gym and the kids love the kids area.
Fantastic experience: Happy gym member. Great staff. Love the crossfit team
Fantastic experience: I joined this gym when I moved to the area and joined the CrossFit program. Most days I would do the group workouts within the CrossFit area because the program was sufficient for average CrossFit athletes. Many others also do the classes. I was approached by the CrossFit coordinator one day, and she called me a "solution" and told me l'm welcome anytime in the CrossFit area because I took part in her program. Meanwhile, other members were doing the group workout right beside me, and when I asked about them, she said they were elite athletes and they could do whatever they liked. This inclusivity and outright friendliness is acceptable and led me to continue my membership.
Fantastic experience: I love the Y and the CrossFit program even more. Being a star athlete or having years of experience with CrossFit are NOT requirements for participating. Come as you are with an open mind, be ready to learn, and you will get better with time. The community in there is unmatched also. I’ve met some of the best people in these classes and look forward to seeing them everyday. Lastly, the coaches are the best and I truly adore our program coordinator, she is amazing and wants to see each of us flourish in our CrossFit journey :)
Fantastic experience: The CrossFit program at the Wilson YMCA is unmatched. I've attended this gym for a little over a year and a half now. There is no better community that celebrates and supports you with wherever you are at in your fitness/CrossFit journey. This is one of the most diverse gyms in the area. Whether that is with age, race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. We welcome ALL to the sport of CrossFit. Our program coordinator, and coaches, are those that believe in you and work alongside you to obtain your goals, while also challenging you to be a better person and athlete. Here we are family. Here you are recognized for being YOU. Here at WYCF, average is enough <3
Fantastic experience: I've been a part of the Crossfit community at the Wilson Y for almost 3 years now. The coaches and people that participate in the classes are the most welcoming people I've ever met and uphold a standard for everyone else to be the same. I've never been to another Crossfit box where the program director pours their heart and soul into their athletes the way Kelly does. If you are thinking of starting Crossfit I'd HIGHLY recommend starting here!
Fantastic experience: Joined the Wilson YMCA again after many years of being away. Our local Crossfit affiliate had recently closed and we needed a new gym home. Crossfit was a priority as was childcare. Every other amenity was simply a bonus. The Crossfit space is the best I’ve ever encountered from a coaching perspective. The men and women running the program are thoughtful, challenging, intentional and authentic. They create a space where diversity can flourish, where all athletic levels can have their needs and expectations met and the programming is approachable and well balanced. The space needs more equipment but operating under the umbrella of a non profit makes it challenging. The coaches always make the most out of what they have and we never want for anything. Our family loved it so much we also became coaches. I work part time as well as a lifeguard and referee at the Y. The aquatics center is a special addition to the facility. Especially Katie’s pool and the mission it serves in our community. You won’t find a better Crossfit experience anywhere in the city at the price point that exists at the Y, nor can you match the coaching prowess and experience they bring to the table. Lastly, the essence of the Crossfit community at Wilson is unparalleled.
Negative experience: I joined this gym when I moved to the area and joined the CrossFit program. Most days I would do my own workouts outside the CrossFit area because the program was insufficient for average CrossFit athletes. Many others do their own thing outside of classes. I was approached by the CrossFit coordinator one day, and she called me a “problem” and told me I’m not welcome in the CrossFit area because I do not take part in her program. Meanwhile, other members were doing their own thing right beside me, and when I asked about them, she said they did class previously so they could do whatever they liked. This discrimination and outright rudeness is unacceptable and led me to end my membership.
Fantastic experience: The Adaptive Aquatic Center is phenomenal. The director has basically been in the water her entire life in some capacity. As a result, I received information that I'd never gotten before in aqua therapy; which has helped me significantly in and out of the water.
Fantastic experience: Fabolous all the way around. Especially the employees!
Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff, many amenities, and a good time
Fantastic experience: This is an excellent facility. Everything is well kept, clean, and in good condition. There are lots of equipment and class options. I found the aqua aerobics classes to be a really good workout. I joined through the Silver Sneakers program so it didn't cost me anything but membership would still be a good bargain at full price.
Fantastic experience: Very clean and outstanding workout instructors.
Positive experience: Went there for physical therapy in the heated pool. My therapist was very friendly and patient
Positive experience: I enjoy coming here! Variety of workout equipment available. Staff is super friendly. Clean facilities. My kids enjoy the kids club too.
Positive experience: Good gym all around but the men’s locker room is in desperate need of an update. Lockers have rust, the showers are weak, and the water will shift from hot to cold randomly.
Negative experience: I have visited a few times no issues yesterday I went in and was targeted about an inch of skin showing I was told to leave so I went all the way home and put a tshirt on when I came back I asked where in the contract did I sign said I couldn’t wear this item nothing was pulled up for me only told to go look in the gym at the sign. I went and looked it’s at the very bottom hidden behind equipment people can’t see this nor are looking this needs to be in your contract and on the door upon leaving I saw two females leaving with skin showing nothing was said. If singling people out is a way to handle things I don’t know how long I will continue to come here. A sign is definitely needed not everyone can just go back home and grab a shirt and I definitely can’t do that every time either. I will respect the rules but I will not tolerate others walking in and no one says anything I will just leave another review and move on to a new gym.
Fantastic experience: My workout center is the best! I've never felt uncomfortable working out here. The classes are great and the teachers are always friendly and helpful.
Negative experience: People please check your bank accounts I canceled membership after first visit back in June due to rude unprofessional worker and I having a conflict and was told at desk that she was canceling that was a lie come to find out after finally seeing that I was still being billed months later over the phone that I had to do a written cancelation and that I would not be refunded any of my money for the following months that they even had proof that I hadn't came !!!!
Fantastic experience: Great all round gym for a family with kids. Great hrs for childcare while you work out. And lots of activities for adults and children
Fantastic experience: I’m here visiting my friend and I went to cross fit with her and I must admit, I was a little nervous & apprehensive however Mike was very helpful. I enjoyed it and when I come back to Grovetown, I’ll drop in for a session….
Negative experience: Just recently got to Augusta as my wife is a traveling nurse. We tend to get into some of the sports right after sign ups. Even after getting there after signups each YMCA across the country has always been so accommodating to us and wanted our son to get to play and added him to a team. Well guess what NOT this YMCA!! Reached out and had a conversation with a Mr. Deante Shavers who told me he would reach out to his coaches and see what he could do. Oh might I add I had to reach out to him multiple times with messages and he called me back after the third message. That being said he would call me back. Well guess what after a week and AGAIN 4 messages to him with NO RESPONSE!! It baffles me that this day and age with all of our communication resources people DO NOT call back. How do you have a management job? How are you allowed to continue to work there when you clearly don’t do What you say! People like that are pathetic in my book! Their word means nothing and is VERY aggravating when your child is the one to loose out because of their lack of professionalism! Have a good day doing nothing Mr. Shavers!!!
Negative experience: This place need a deep cleaning and remodel. If it’s not the sauna always being broke it’s the constant roaches that’s a problem
Positive experience: They are in dire need of a remodel. I like to go to this location for the hot tub because hydrotherapy is the only thing that helps my migraines. The hot tub here is absolutely disgusting! The grounds are dirty/moldy and I wouldn’t put my kid in any program there personally. But the workout equipment here is decent, so 3 stars for that.
Negative experience: Lake Forest Hills Prime Time which is run by Wilson has been an utter and complete failure. Here we are, two days into school starting and I have not even been contacted to be told if my child has a spot or is on the waiting list. No communication what so ever. I called myself and spoke to the director who advised me that there are only 90 slots but over 400 applications and they are still processing applications. Where's the logic in that? Why wasn't it communicated that there would be a waiting list when I turned in my application? I, like many parents, depend on these programs and I completely understand if they fill up but I don't understand the lack of communication, the lack of proper planning, and the lack of care that someone screwed the pooch. I go back to work soon and I have no idea how I'm going to get my child from school after this week. I depended on a service I have used in many cities for many years to give me the time I need from work and this location has completely failed to offer the program in a way that makes sense. I still don't know his status and have not been contacted by anyone. The director turned her phone off. I'm out of options and no one seems to care that they set a precedence they couldn't fulfill. I'm sure other parents are just as angry.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Not too crowded at most hours.
Positive experience: CrossFit coaches are great but management doesn't cover basics (all out of cleaner, all out of chalk, can tell by the accumulated grime that equipment virtually never gets cleaned, pull-up bars aren't taped).
We are sorry to hear that you are not getting the most out of your membership anymore. Our director would like to hear more about your experience. Please call her at 706-922-3300.
Fantastic experience: Love their facility with so much equipment and a huge variety of classes. Plus childcare!
Fantastic experience: Great place to cool off. They have a indoor and outdoor pool. Oh and a hot tub!!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful for the whole family! Lovely staff
Fantastic experience: The Wilson Y is a very enjoyable place to come during the summer time with your kids to enjoy the outside pool, and water slide splash. They have good lifeguards on duty, and this place is very clean.
Fantastic experience: We're in town for a couple basketball tournaments and are Y members back home. The Wilson Family Y has been an awesome basketball court away from home and the other on-site facilities look awesome!
Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed your time in Augusta and visiting our Y!
Fantastic experience: Amazing staff! Love the swimming lessons <3
Fantastic experience: Very high quality and run with good family and Christian values. Skimpy garments revealing belly are not allowed outside of the pool area. There is an indoor pool as well as a water park quality outdoor fun area with many options for babies up to adults. They take 10 minute breaks on the 50 of the hour outside, but the indoor pool stays open with a family lane.
Negative experience: I wanted to become a member until I overhead janitorial telling an employee he had a picture of him doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing. Management takes pictures of video footage from the cameras around the gym. Very disturbing. How are you supposed to trust it’s not being used to take pictures of members in compromising positions, especially females?
Positive experience: Great gym, they offer crossfit classes as well as other classes. Out door swimming as well as indoors. Offer daycare as well but it is limited for two hours. There have been cases where our workouts last a little longer They will call you to come get your child. Which can come a little tedious. Other than that it's a good gym.
Negative experience: I signed my boys up for swim lessons and they got sick with Covid and I couldn't bring them, they had only been to 2 lessons and I called and one of the staff members said she would give me a credit for next Swim and I called the following month and NO ONE could find the credit so I was out of $170. I even spoke to the Swim manager and I haven't heard anything. I think this is wrong because she can see on the books that my boys weren't signed in and still didn't credit my account. Poor leadership qualities. I wanted to join bit after this i will take my business elsewhere and share with my friends about the poor business.
Positive experience: It was a great experience heading to the pool. It was most enjoyable on the inside pool because the outside pools were so crowded. The staff are very very friendly. The membership fee is worth it for access to the pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, courts, etc. I recommend this over the local gym membership due to family-wide activities that are included.
Fantastic experience: Best Y in the CSRA. Basketball Gym, Pools indoor and outdoor, Walking Track, CrossFit training room, Kids room and pool, and weight training center. A+
Positive experience: The women's locker needs some attention(I believe there is mold on one of the shower curtains), but overall a great facility and nice place to work out
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! We will double-down our cleaning efforts and hope you continue enjoying our Y!
Fantastic experience: Not too busy this afternoon and able to get on all the weights quickly
Fantastic experience: I enjoy going to the YMCA they have alot of fun activities and programs for people of all ages including a wellness center, walking tracks, indoor and outdoor pool, aquatic therapy pool, basketball courts, message therapy and outdoor sports and much more.
Negative experience: I pay $75 a month to be able to use the pool. It was supposed to be closed for a week and now it’s been closed for 2 with no end in sight. That’s a least $35 I’m out as of today. I would have frozen my membership until the pool was fixed. Members should have been made aware of the pool status. Also pool management needs to do a better job making sure the lifeguards enforce the lap lane rules. The lanes are not for kids playing, people having conversations, aqua jogging in the well, or just hanging out. I’m furious and expect management to reach out to me.
We understand your frustration with our indoor pool repair project. The repairs needed were more extensive than we originally thought. As of this weekend (4/16), we have refilled the pool and should have it reopened as soon as we get it up to code. We post updates regularly about the pool on our Facebook page (Wilson Family YMCA) so keep an eye there for the reopening date! Please reach out to our Membership Director at 706-922-9659 to discuss your membership options.
Fantastic experience: We use the pool for water arobics. Instructors are great, especially PJ. Clean facilities. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Love the outdoor pool
Fantastic experience: For the price it really can’t be beat. So many amenities.
Positive experience: Good place to exercise, people are friendly. It can get a little too busy at times so schedule your visit appropriately.
Fantastic experience: Always the best experience.. . Whether for exercising for myself or pre k swimming or ballet for my daughter. I always recommend because there's so much to participate in.
Fantastic experience: Offers the best indoor pools in Augusta during the winter and has a fun outdoor pool and water play area in summer along with your usual YMCA gym and exercise classes. Looking forward to trying out the massage therapy add on.
Fantastic experience: Clean pool and good prices I enjoy using their facilities
Fantastic experience: I have worked out here for the past 2 years and I enjoy coming here. The community is great! I always see the same people when I work out. I grew up coming here at a super young age to child care and now I am 19 and use their weights and equipment whenever I am home from college.
Positive experience: Went here for a birthday party. It was nice. I didn't even know they had that room available so that great to know for future parties.
Negative experience: Joined 2 Days ago, took my Son to the Pool for 40 Minutes, Chlorine Smell was horrific, Water was cloudy, we both had irritated Eyes all Night, super red and Pain in eyes . Went in the Day after I joined , Lady was not interested in my concern told me nothing they can do I can only cancel Membership, wow, so I did now I have to pay for 2 Month for nothing, due to Back Issues i cn only use the Pool, so iam paying for nothing now. Never had that Problem with any other Pool. Also iam a Veteran and never got the Discount, made me pay$ 100 to sign up!!! Yes i got military ID!!!!!!!!! Way to treat People, well we live in a World were nobody cares anymore.........
We would like to hear more about your experience. Please give our district VP a call at your earliest convenience. You can reach him at 706.922.9614. We do waive the joiner's fee for all active-duty military and veterans, so would like to make that right for you!
Fantastic experience: We had a Blast at this Year's #Halloween 2022 #Free #Event ❤️
Fantastic experience: Loving coming here for my son sports. The coaches are great
Fantastic experience: This place is great! The staff are friendly and the facility is well-maintained. The Wilson Family Y has one of the only therapy pools that I know of in the area. Claudia is exceptionally knowledgeable about the benefits of aqua therapy. Brittany, the massage therapist here is outstanding. I receive a weekly massage in the therapy pool. If you have never had the pleasure of experiencing a massage while floating in a pool, I highly suggest that you give them a call, and try it out.You will not be disappointed!
Fantastic experience: Spent an hour at the Y and did a good workout plus 30 minutes in the bubbling Spa!! Wonderful facility!
Negative experience: Came to the Y to cancel my membership. Stanley was rude. He was a black kid in a wheelchair. He was pushy and aggressive and when I wanted to know why I had to pay for the following month for a membership I wasn’t even going to use, he started mocking me. The young lady who was working with him had to get on to him, but I couldn’t believe how unbelievably rude he was. Won’t be restarting.
Thank you for sharing. We apologize that you had a bad experience with one of our team members, and will pass this along to our leadership team. Our policy is that membership cancellations must be made in writing 30 days before they go into effect, so there will be one final bank draft before the membership is terminated.
Positive experience: Gym, pool, childcare, community services… what more could you want? There is an indoor heated pool which is open year round as well as an outdoor pool that is seasonal. This is a very family-friendly atmosphere, and I love that! My only complaint is that the family bathrooms/changing rooms are dated and gross. Otherwise, this place is great!
Fantastic experience: Love this Y BUT what’s up with the chlorine!? My mom started having breathing issues the next day we skipped a day or two and she got better. We went back and it’s bad again AND our eyes are burning, itching, and red. I’ve had two showers and I STILL smell like chlorine. I looked it up and too much Chlorine is a bad thing ESPECIALLY for the lungs, skin and eyes!!!
Fantastic experience: Amazing and spacious gym! Had basketball courts, pools and indoor track. Just make sure you go before it gets crowded.
Positive experience: The Whirlpool has been inoperable since May. When asked about repair, we are told they are waiting on a part. Really!
Fantastic experience: The family Y on Wheeler rd. Has a great selection of fitness classes. And amazing massage therapists! My family and I also love their indoor and outdoor pools.
Thank you! We are glad you are enjoying the many amenities that come with Y membership!
Positive experience: The best recreation center in the area. Pricey! Only issue is that the basketball courts are always being used for leagues, pickleball, or volleyball. So you can't do open runs or shoot arounds
Negative experience: 1 and only jacuzzi closed pre teen can't swim unless an adult is present and at 12 yrs and 11 months old they talked to my child without an adult present. Also the male life guard on duty is mentally challenged and couldn't even answer my questions no wonder you can't leave a child in one room while you're in another because the staff is incompetent. I withdrew my membership asap!
Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoying our membership here! The pool and splash pad is nice. Wish the slide was open. ❤️
Negative experience: Clean, well lit, courteous staff Update for 6.5.2022 - upon entering the facility today me and my child were harassed by one staff member. We were told that swimsuits were not allowed to be worn through the facility to get to the outdoor pool. This is our 3rd time here and not once was I told that was a law/rule. Nor is it notated anywhere by the front desk. The week before another member caught themselves correcting me about the family changing rooms. I don't get it. The Lord brought us in naked and the same people that are for Christ be the ones that police it all. Mind you the one that harassed us was a white woman. This review probably won't get any steam. The Y has Augusta in a chokehold because the county swimming area is trash.
Negative experience: I understand why they lock the outdoor restrooms at night but when morning comes some one should unlock it. I have to call every time and then get the run around… oh I grab the wrong key, oh let me find someone to open it, oh I sent someone out there 5mins ago(no one comes), oh could you come inside to use it. It’s ridiculous! Such a simple task…get it together!
We apologize for the inconvenience with our outdoor bathroom. I'll forward this to our leadership team to see how we can incorporate this into our morning opening procedures. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
Fantastic experience: Attended a soccer game here parking lot is difficult but it's a nice YMCA
Fantastic experience: Great gym and good programs for youth sports
Fantastic experience: Pool temp was great. New aquatics person is making great improvements.
Fantastic experience: Excellent and friendly staff. I enrolled today in Silver Sneakers. They were very helpful. Super staff. I was glad to join.
Fantastic experience: I go to the aqua therapy there thru Doctors Rehab. Lyndsay has been working with me for two years now and I have had very good progress.
Positive experience: So many benefits for the whole family with your membership that I can't even list them
Positive experience: Nice selection of equipment. I feel like I'm getting my money's worth when I go here.
Fantastic experience: Wow! is my words, I haven't been in a YMCA since I was young. This place was great with Really warm employees there.
Thank you! We are happy to have you as a Y member!
Fantastic experience: The Y on Wheeler is an excellent place to workout. It is safe and has clean facilities and many programs. Check out their website for more information.
Negative experience: I workout in group classes and modify my workout for personal reasons. It's always someone(elderly women)suggesting I do what they expect me to do. How about mind your business and if I ask for assistance I'll ask the instructor!!! Stop worrying about other ppl. You never know what ailments other people have as to why they aren't doing the exercises perfect.
Fantastic experience: A few week ago, on doctors order, My wife insisted that we visit the YMCA to see if there was routine or personal trainer who would be able to help me rebuild my stamina. What we found was a mutli-purpose facility that has more answers than questions. It is a very big place with indoor and out door swimming facilities. It is well laid out multi-purpose facility, and IU am sure that I will benefit from being a member. The answer to all of our questions were yes, and there was no hesitation in working with me at a pace which would be my doctors orders. The only hurdle is me, Motivation is the key my rebuilding health and stamina. I am looking forward to working with the trainers at the YMCA,
Fantastic experience: We have utilized the YMCA to enroll our son in T-ball and swimming lessons. The people who work there are always so kind and helpful. They do a fantastic job with the kids.
Fantastic experience: Had a great time. This place is super friendly and so much to do here. Taught a friend how to swim today and it felt so gratifying! I love the fact that theres both an indoor and outdoor pool with a slide! Just had an all around blast here.
Fantastic experience: Plenty room wheelchair accessible energy I am very greatly wonderful to see that as well as wheelchair-accessible in a pool they're very helpful very friendly I would recommend this place greatly wonderful place.
Thank you! We are happy you are enjoying our accessible facilities and features.
Fantastic experience: Building my kids from out of town for a week, and they wanted to swim for a couple days so we went there and they were very gracious in letting me in since I was a veteran but did not want to purchase a full account. Also the place is amazing it's huge and very well maintained.
Thank YOU for serving our country! We are always happy to provide for veterans and were happy to accommodate your family!
