Negative experience: Hello, I signed up at the Crunch Fitness Center in Auburn Alabama couple weeks ago to better my health. I was very impressed with how clean and large the facility is. I was very excited to start taking control of my weight and excited the facility is up the street from me. My niece and I decided we can work out together since she has been attending the gym which was support for me. She is NOT A TRAINER AND NEVER WAS A TRAINER. My niece and I entered the facility to work out together on 10/12/24. She started showing me the machines she work on so that we can work out together. We were shocked that an employee walked up to us with pad in hand and asked to speak to my niece. He assumed without confirming she was not a trainer. She tried explaining to him she is not a trainer and was not training me. He whom we now know was the District Manager. He started saying they have trainers there. I told him I do not want a trainer. In told the employee when I signed up I did not want a trainer. I told the manager she is my niece, the manager in turn told me he hear that a lot. I was so dumbfounded the way he assumed and believed she was a trainer. The manager seemed to disregard what she was telling him. She has no credentials nor claimed to be one. I deescalated the conversation with him and my niece by letting her know this is his facility, he is not going to give in. I told her she and I know we are not training and to let it go. She and I could not continue to work out because we were in disbelief. I want to say I and her are honest military veterans who wanted to support each other. I have been to several gyms in my life, I have had several trainers throughout my service. I know the difference. We both left the facility. We returned about 20 minutes later to the facility because we were so distraught and in disbelief, asked to discontinue our membership. I wish I had read these reviews before I joined, but I figured since my niece was going for a year it was legit. I pray the cancellation go smooth. I just read the cancellation reviews. SO DISAPPOINTED!

Positive experience: Nice gym, clean. A lot of college students so go there on off times if you want to be able to use some equipment
Negative experience: Paid for the higher membership fee to be able to cancel anytime, and was told I needed to come in person to cancel (which is fine), but then when I wanted to cancel was given a card to call that won’t pick up the phone. The equipment in this gym is good and there is a good variety - but a lot of it is broken and doesn’t get fixed. The bathrooms are awfully maintained and the gym in general is crowded. If it wasn’t for the issues with cancelling I would say it’s 2-3 stars, but you can tell they have shady business practices as other people have reported. Update: I did receive a call back from the 3rd party that is supposed to handle the cancelation process so I will bump them up to 2 stars.
Positive experience: First, I do love my Crunch family! Amazing staff! However, my husband and I pay the highest monthly membership, but are dissatisfied with some major issues that have recently taking place. My first complaint is ALL the broken equipment that never seems to get repaired. Even some of the "working" equipment have issues and do not work properly. Another issue is the constant ceiling leaks all over the gym. Buckets upon buckets sitting all around. I couldn't workout today due to child watch having a leaky ceiling and closing. My husband has also experienced this and has had to go get the kids mid workout. My last complaint is Lia the Kids Crunch manager choosing to leave. She really did drastically improve child watch! She was a true asset to the team and I'm very sad to see her leave. Some things really need to change before Crunch Auburn loses it's entire members and staff. :(

Negative experience: We travel all over the country to crunch fitness locations regularly but had to cancel due to moving out of the country. We were in Auburn for a bit but our “home” location was in Florida. We were told at the AU location that we could cancel in person when the time came but a month later we were given a card with a number and email that are showing up as SPAM online. When I called, the rep claimed she couldn’t find me OR my husband’s accounts using emails, numbers, names, barcodes, etc. It made zero sense. Hung up and called our original home gym and they canceled over the phone. They also had NEVER heard of a crunch location passing out cards with 888 numbers that are coming up as “robo callers” and emails that google can’t seem to connect to crunch either. Super gross feeling.
Negative experience: I’ve gone to many crunch gyms as I have the unlimited membership and travel frequently. This one is probably the worst. Went there right at opening on a Sunday and basically was met with dirty bathrooms, multiple broken machines, and a leaking HVAC system. Btw, they fixed that by putting a bucket underneath the leak on top of a bench press. Oh and none of the plates were re-racked. So I had to hunt down 45s because someone hogged them all, lying them around the hacksquat machine the day before, and all the other benches had no plates. Just not ok. Oh and did I mention the bathrooms? Cuz yea….

Negative experience: The gym is very dirty and has dangerous slip, trip, and fall issues. The mats around the benches are severely bucked and they are hard to see and pose a major trip hazard.
Negative experience: Very bad gym. It’s also very difficult to cancel memberships since they outsourced their customer service to India. I’ve been working out for 6 years and this is the most unpleasant, poorly managed wannabe gym I’ve ever attended. Save your money. Also be prepared to pay for another month after you cancel as it is their “policy” lmao
Hello Brooks. Appreciate the feedback. When a member joins that acknowledge and consent to the 30 day cancellation process. I do apologize if you did not understand that when you joined. As far as our handling of cancellations -- yes, we have determined that our membership services desk is better served by having a small team of individuals handling this process. Our goal is to provide outstanding member services at the counter and the cancellation process is better handled by a team that can focus attention on the member cancelling.
Fantastic experience: Working out of State for a few weeks, Crunch Fitness is a great gym to train at. Friendly Staff and environment. Isiah is an awesome manager.

Negative experience: DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK/CARD INFO!! They play games when you try and cancel your membership. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE CANCELED IN PERSON. Just look at other reviews for the same issue. We canceled over two months ago and are still being charged.
No games at CRUNCH Travis. Very clear membership categories and membership options. And YES--we do ask that you cancel in person and sign the cancellation form.
Fantastic experience: Lia & Micayla in childcare are the reason we LOVE Crunch!! Our kids genuinely feel loved and we feel they are truly protected and monitored while we get a lift in. Some days I don’t want to workout in the mornings and afternoons would be easier, but I want Lia and Micayla to watch the kiddos, so I make mornings happen just because Lia and Micayla will be there. I’ve never connected with childcare workers so quickly as I did with Lia and Micayla, they’re absolutely incredible and they truly care for our children as if they were their own. Lia and Micayla give me peace of mind and allow me to focus solely on my workout as opposed to stressing out about my kids the whole time! We LOVE Lia and Micayla!!!

Negative experience: I did not have any problems with this location till they kept charging me after canceling my subscription. It was a terrible experience. They had been charging me for 3 months after canceling my subscription. I closed my bank account to get rid of them
Negative experience: The floor is always gross (especially the men’s bathroom), sometimes the AC isn’t on, the music is way too loud, and the water at the fountain is actually hot. They have good equipment but you could honestly get that at any other gym around here.

Positive experience: I joined Crunch when it opened last year only because of the great Zumba instructors that were teaching there. There are a few issues that would keep me from recommending someone else to join the main one being the cleanliness overall. I never go to the locker rooms or bathrooms because the last time I did they were really dirty. The other issue is in the group fitness room where the temperature is always too warm to crowd a room full of people for an exercise class. It gets so hot that the floors get slippery and it is really muggy. There are several fans in the room but they are usually spinning in the wrong direction which is pushing the air up not pushing it down. Several members have addressed this issue at the front desk but they don't really know how to correct it and nothing gets done. Hopefully, these issues can be corrected soon because it could be great facility in a great location. Update 6/8/24- Saturday 7:30 am NO help at the desk. This is a common problem. If you want to tan go to Palm Beach where there is always someone there and they actually clean the beds.

Negative experience: Great gym. Most of the equipment I desire to use is accessible. That’s where the good ends. Sauna is disgusting/Floor is coming up near the dumbbells/ Machines stay broken for weeks, maybe months/Music is either exceptional or god-awful/Everything has a smell/Paper towels are never full/New GM is a less-than-desirable person to interact with.

Negative experience: It's hard because I love the hours and the location of this crunch but the place is just so messy. It frequently needs to be cleaned, the amenities (spray tan, sauna, ect.,) work around 1/2 the time, and sometimes the people at the desk are just unhelpful. The machines and amenities being out of service/broken so often really is dissapponting.

Negative experience: So it’s a shame that my boyfriend and his sister can’t go to this gym and workout in peace!! They both pay a monthly premium and they continuously get harassed by the staff saying he’s training in their gym!!!!!! He is always on the phone with my while he’s there WORKING out, drenched in sweat!!! I’m on the phone with him tonight and staff members come up to him insinuating that he’s training! I’m sitting on the phone with him and all I hear is the GM saying to him, “it looks like you’re training here” whilst he’s working out!! So at this point your General manager is assuming and accusing my boyfriend of training someone while he’s clearly there working out himself!! Crunch this is very disgusting and low of you to assume and accuse a person of this because “it looks like” they’re training!
Well Danielle--if it looks like PT -- we are going to stop the member and request that the behavior stops. To provide any type of Personal Training in our facility you must be on our staff (the reasons are obvious). I would say to tell your significant to make sure it does not look like PT and I am positive our staff will quick asking. ( -:
Negative experience: Wish I could give them a zero star. Me and my sis both have premium memberships($32.99 each) and we can’t even workout together without the staff saying I’m training her!! It’s unfortunate that I have to be harassed by a RACIST staff that has isolated us out 3 times for training. If we both have memberships what’s the issue with us working out together! The worst part about it is while saying something to us, there are multiple outside trainers working with ppl right in our face!! This Crunch is unethical & has the roots of Auburn racism in the heart of their gym! And don’t let me leave out how they play with your billing, and will charge you 2 months after canceling your membership!! This is not a real gym because of the racism, discrimination, and politics!! Tiger is a way better choice!
Hello Jacob-- I just responded to your sister. If you are unhappy--let me get that refunded for you. You are able to cancel any time and it appears that you are not happy about our view. I am not suggesting you are training--but we are pretty good at spotting it. Email me at [email protected] the details and I will get your membership cancelled without the 30 day notice.
Negative experience: I hate the fact that during the busiest gym hours 4-6pm they rope off part of the workout floor. I can understand some of the class in the hitt areas. However, when they block off 75% of the workout floor, it makes it really difficult for patrons to use the rope machine, bicycle, boxes, and / or stretch. The layout of this gym is really bad. I wish it was more like the one in Colmbus they have plenty of space and more equipment. Update this is what I mean you rope off an area an hour before a class start. So patrons aren't sure if they can enter or not. Then when class start you get shown out. This is what it looks like during a busy hours in the stretch/ workout area while all of four people workout in a huge space priority much I think NOT.. Save your money I will be out soon and will not recommend unless something is done to address the matter.

Fantastic experience: Love love love this gym. Signing up was as simple as canceling, and that’s something you don’t see often in gyms. The staff is helpful and answered all my questions without a problem. The gym itself is also incredibly versatile and the memberships have so many options that are beneficial to people of all different kinds of schedules. Fantastic experience: I was nervous about changing my life style and finding a home gym. If it wasn’t for my amazing trainer Matthew aka Matty for guiding me, making me feel comfortable and not like a deer in headlights, and taking the time to show me workouts that were compatible with my body type I probably wouldn’t have kept coming for anything other than the Hydro massage. I have felt so much better because of him and this gym and developed a normal routine!

Positive experience: Enjoyed this gym for the past year, and understand that equipment breaks. However the level of maintenance / repair as well as the cleanliness in the past 3 months seems to have significantly deteriorated. I’m almost to the point of having to go somewhere else due to the amount of equipment broken or potentially unsafe. I really liked your gym & don’t want to leave, how can I as a customer help get these issues resolved? Update: 3/12/24: Increased 1 Star. There has been a noticeable improvement, many machines repaired, cleanliness improved from past. A few new bars for cable machines. Seeing lots of new faces on staff. Still has issues with a few broken machines, flooring warped in places around benches and wear on some things. Thanks and please keep improving.

Fantastic experience: This week is week 5 with their personal trainer, Richard. I’m 37 with health issues. I have been so impressed with him. He listens, motivates me, pushes me in a healthy way. Goes above and beyond. Take the plunge and hire him!
Negative experience: I moved away and they will not acknowledge my requests to cancel. I have put in two different inquiries to cancel and have not heard back from them. My card keeps getting charged. If you call you just get put on hold.

Fantastic experience: Robert, the new GM, was fabulous and helped me quickly and smoothly get a refund for my membership mix up. Ask for him if you need anything at all! Everyone was super helpful. If I feel the gym itch, I would definitely go back to Crunch!
Positive experience: High turnover rate constantly changing employees. Broken machines and tanning beds are constantly plaguing the paid members ability to utilize what they were promised during the initial assessment phase of becoming a member.

Negative experience: Went to this location for a little over a year and had to cancel because I was moving cities. Filled out all the paper work to cancel and went on my way. This was 6 months ago. I am STILL getting charged to this day and no one has done anything about it. Last time I called, they said the manager was going through all the cancellations and working on issuing refunds (that's never going to happen) and the other times I have called they said they aren't authorized to give me info and they write down my name and number for someone to call me back. I know multiple people who are no longer with this location and still getting charged. Not sure why this is so unorganized and difficult, but at this point, this gym owes me over $100.

Negative experience: I’ve had a membership for a while now.. And also enjoyed working out. But every other month they have charged my bank different amounts. This time I noticed it and asked to be refunded. I’ve contacted them for a few weeks now and someone different will get on the phone and tell me I will be refunded. This been going on for a few months and now I just want to cancel my membership because this is ridiculous!!!!!
Negative experience: I've been a member here since they opened the doors for the very first time. After a steady decline in cleanliness and upkeep, I cancelled my membership. The place is absolutely disgusting and left in complete neglect. When equipment breaks, it stays broken for weeks (if not months). The locker rooms are disgusting. Toilets are just left clogged, there is mold/junk on the bowls of the sinks, and the sauna (when it is actually functioning) gets cleaned once every blue moon. It's really sad because this place could be a wonderful gym with just a TINY bit of oversight and accountability.
Positive experience: I went to this location almost every day since it opened and then I moved. I loved every time I went and the staff were so amazing. This is more maybe a complaint for the whole system, but I cancelled my membership at this location because I moved to the Athens location. I called a month ago to cancel. The Athens location informed me that they never cancelled my membership! Are you actually joking me right now? I’ve been paying for something I was told was cancelled and taken care of! I called and asked Josh(very nice guy) to see what was up and turns out you can’t cancel over the phone?! Sorry? So was I just lied to or someone just made a mistake? I can totally give grace if it was a simple mistake, but I have a feeling that they are just sneaky and greedy(the corporation not the individual location nor employees). Hopefully, it’ll be cancelled in the next week through their process, but I will continue to make sure it is cancelled by following up every other day. Aagain, I loved this location and its staff members. It was like a second home, but what the heck kind of cancellation process does crunch have going on!
Negative experience: When I first started coming to this Crunch location I loved it. Over time, so many machines have broken and have stayed broken for months! The sauna has been broken for months! The mirrors are always dirty, and there's never any hand sanitizer in the dispensers. While I understand some things are beyond control, cleanliness most certainly is. .
Negative experience: Such a shame. Been a member of Crunch for a long time under multiple franchisees and this one in Auburn has come by far the worst. They clearly do not care about their product, their members, or the experience. It has steadily, quickly gone down hill. - always extremely unclean and unsanitary. From the gym floor to the locker rooms but especially the locker rooms. The checklist sheet I have seen be regularly hidden on purpose by staff members. Because it’s not getting clean. If the manager or franchise owner were to show even the slightest due diligence ror assertiveness, this would be immediately noticed as unacceptable. It has been at least 3 weeks since I’ve seen a single staff member or cleaner touch anything: - men’s locker on: floor disgusting, urinals disgusting and often not working, stalls often clogged with feces for days, often days without any toilet tissue in either stall, showers disgusting, at least one sink non-functional. Sauna has been broken for almost a month and a half. Each time I ask, a staff member says the maintenance is happening that week and never does. The staff clearly has no clue and doesn’t care about their job. -gym floor: machines constantly broken with a sign sometimes put on them, sometimes not. Same machines will go weeks, sometimes months without being fixed. Many of the cable adjustable machines between squat racks and leg machines, have the buttons for adjusting the height missing or cables broken for months now. Clearly no management ever does a walkthrough. General staff are nice but also have no incentive to do a good job or address anything. Something so easy and little as filling the spray cleanser bottles and paper towels to clean machines. Literally grabbed one and it was empty. Next closest was empty, tried 2 more and they were bone dry. Made a point to walk the entire gym and only found one that had about 3 oz. left in it. Absolutely laughable. Again I’ve always loved crunch and hate that I’m being pushed out due to such apathy and lack of even the basic bottom level of effort. That and a completely disgusting level of sanitary conditions bordering health hazard. After all these years, I’m going to have to find another gym altogether. Had this conversation with so many other members of this site too. Something tells me management won’t even bother to notice unless the attrition rate is high enough to force their attention. Negative experience: Poorly taken care of equipment and constantly dirty. If something breaks they refuse to fix it. There’s machine here that have been broken for close to a year with nobody even attempting to fix them.
Hello Matt. Sorry but that is just not true. If a piece of equipment does go down--we note it and order the replacement parts within 24 hours. We are at the mercy of the supply chain--but when the replacement part returns--we have our internal team make a visit to the site and repair. Positive experience: Good gym. Could be cleaner and more organized but it's fine for a workout. Read the fine print online and don't be afraid to ask questions before signing up in-person.

Negative experience: The current state of this gym is concerning; it's rapidly deteriorating, and immediate assistance is crucial. The abduction/addiction, calves machine, cable, and several stair masters are all out of order. The restroom conditions are unacceptable, and managerial presence is lacking. I originated from Tiger Iron, and in retrospect, that was an improvement compared to this. I urge you to either replace the malfunctioning machines to utilize the space more effectively or promptly repair them. Additionally, addressing the cleanliness issues in the bathrooms is imperative. This gym is a disgrace to the Crunch name

Negative experience: They will continuously charge you even after after cancellation. Month after month. When you show up in person they say “you’ll receive your refund in 7-10 days”. When you don’t receive a refund after more than 30 days they stop picking up your call. I’ve been leaving messages for two days in a row, still no return call. Dispute their transactions. That’s the only way to get out of it. Everything they tell you is a lie.
Negative experience: I canceled my membership Jan 2023 because I was moving.. I then realized four months later they were still charging my card. I was told the only way that they could cancel my memebership now because I was out of town was to send a letter with my signature. Well everytime I sent a letter which was a total of 3 times it was returned to send. I finally told my bank to cancel the payment to them. Well then I get an email that they will send me to collections. Ive have also emailed and called several times to no response. They typically wont answer the phone. This should be illegal. PLACE IS A SCAMMMMMM. I would suggest when you cancel go and take a literal video of you trying to cancel your membership.
Negative experience: I would like to lodge a complaint how half of the machines are extremely loose and probably unsafe, half do not work, along with a fourth of the gym being cut off due to personal classes. This type of gym is usually pretty busy which is normal and okay, but when the dedicated area for guests who pay monthly for this gym is taken up by a exercising class, thats when it gets extremely difficult to accumulate my preferred weights/bars. Also, something that can easily be fixed by management is that there is extreme mold growing in the water machines from where the water pours out from. Crunch fitness, do better

Negative experience: Initially I was very happy with Crunch but about a 1 year into my membership I have seen the decline of the facility and rather weak management of the physical site. Machines lay broken, sometimes for months, other things are poorly maintained, one anemic and often broken water fountain. The place is dirty, the rubber floors are coming up in some areas, benches are cracked etc. I like the location, the people and I like the gym, I would just like to see more focus and attention put on the physical plant. These things are all fixable and not huge matters to resolve but should not be an ongoing issue for a gym this new. The place needs TLC and it can easily return to a great facility.

Negative experience: gym is always extremely dirty and equipment is often broken. I’ve asked 4 times to downgrade my membership and it hasn’t been done, this is after 2 months of asking.
Fantastic experience: Good hours and amenities. Maintenance seems to be a common point of failure especially with the solitary water fountain. Overall it’s a good place to train and it provides a good environment for doing so.
Negative experience: This place has different rules everyday. Depending on who you talk too. I believe they make them up as they go along. They say they dont show favoritism. Yes they do. And their prices change after you agree on one price but are charged another. Very unprofessional. Never will go back.
Negative experience: First of all, it is not the price that they say on the website. They also charge a large annual fee within 60 days of starting. Do not waste your money if you are trying to do group fitness classes. I joined for the fitness classes and the place does not live up to the hype. The classes are only 30 mins and most of the instructors don't even bother to complete 25 mins of workout. You can tell that they are not well trained. I have never attended such horrible HIIT classes, they say 45mins on paper and the classes aren't even a complete 30 mins. Also, the sign-in system is messed up. If you are a person with a busy routine, this place is not for you. Especially if you need to workout after work like me. From 5pm to 6.30pm, parking is a nightmare!! Most of the staff are just waiting around and will not be able to answer actual questions when you need help. P.S.They do not provide free t-shirts as claimed on their website.

Negative experience: I personally know of several individuals who have been attempting to cancel their membership, but crunch has made this impossible. This business is a scam that makes a profit off of college kids who move away. I recommend using a different gym.
Hello Nathan. Our cancellation process is very simple--just stop by and complete the cancellation form. We would hate to see a MEMBER go-- but we do understand that from time to time--we have a MEMBERS who decide to move on. ( -: and we want to make it as easy as possible.
Negative experience: The girls bathroom is always disgusting. Floor is always littered with trash and looks like it hasn’t been mopped once since opening. Water fountain has been broken for at least a month. Spray bottles and paper towels throughout the gym are almost always empty.
Negative experience: Signed up for 9.99 a month membership. Got gradually charged over a year up to 37.99 after a year. I would call repeatedly and no changes after several promises. This is happened to several of my friends as well. Do not come here. They will steal your money

Fantastic experience: The gym here is looking alot cleaner and all the broken equipment is getting addressed much quicker than before. Management has picked it up in the past month very quick, can’t wait to see how the gym turns out by the end of the year!

Fantastic experience: I have been to gyms since the 80’s, this is the most complete (they have everything) and energized gyms I have ever been to. The staff have treated me positively, I have seen trainers working with people off all fitness levels, You can work out quietly or grunt and growl under a heavy weight. There is freedom. They also have Zumba and spinning. You can’t ask for anything more from a gym, an amazing experience. Corey O’Steen

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym! It’s great to be able to go to a gym and use a matted deadlift station that supports power cleans. The cardio equipment is very durable. The courteous staff is also a plus.
Negative experience: I’ve spent hundreds of dollars with you guys. My card was charged $160 for a training session I NEVER RECEIVED! I reached out to my trainer and he gave me a number for the PT Manager JEFF! I reached out to Jeff numerous times with no response, left notes with front desk to call me back. Fantastic experience: I didn’t have the Greatest experience trying to transfer and then ultimately cancel my membership with Crunch. I was told to inconsistent information and it was just frustrating, but finally I called this morning, and Jay was able to listen to my complaint and help me in a timely, efficient manner. Negative experience: I called crunch in January of 2023 to let them know I will finish paying up last year but I want to cancel my membership. I was told that I had to talk with the local manager to cancel. I called the local gym. I was told that the manager was out and I had to email her. I emailed her got no response. No they have sent my file to a collection agency. Because I refused to pay January February fee. I have Charcot foot. And I have to have neck surgery therefore I cannot use their services. Emailed the manager stating I would bring in my medical records. I am still waiting to hear from her. Crunch fitness is a joke. Maybe I should sir the due to my disability. They chose to ignore after I explained the issues.

Negative experience: Great amenities, staff is very friendly and I do enjoy not having to always wait for my set. Negative experience: Canceled in person in March. Told I would be billed 1 more time due to how close next billing cycle was but I have been billed 3 more times and even charged annual membership dues' including May after certified letter was mailed. Called and told there was a management change and my membership is now canceled and I should get refund in 10 days. We will see. I would avoid any automatic payment options.

Negative experience: I wish I could leave no stars. I canceled my membership right when they just took the money out of my account but now they are hounding me for another month when I have never used their facility at all. Negative experience: Dirtiest gym with the rudest staff and management I have ever seen. They get so irritated when you ask them to do a simple task that was probably on the job description when they applied. Not to mention everything is always broken. Fans, tanning beds, etc.

They don’t let you cancel so if you join be prepared to be joined for life because I get billed monthly for a membership I cancelled at the front desk. Customer service is obviously no help because they call me everyday asking me to provide payments it’s honestly ridiculous.

Negative experience: Don’t expect to sign up without paying $50+ before walking out. There is only one water fountain that is broken or needs a new filter half the time. Not enough cable machines and dumbbells are nearly impossible to get since they put chairs and benches right in front. Front desk workers (minus the dude that works the mornings) are also rude.
Fantastic experience: 10/10 spotless, amazing staff, the equipment is clean, it does get busy but as long as you’re around the machine max you’ll wait is 5 mins. Bathrooms are clean too. Overall it’s a great gym and if you’re skeptical give them a shot, I promise it’s worth a try.
Negative experience: This gym will fraudulently charge you while claiming they have no documentation of forms you've already filled out. Jeff, the PT manager, said it's not a scam right after he asked me to fill out paperwork I filled out months ago. I have had to charge back multiple transactions after they agreed to issue a refund and never did. I'm now on my third fraudulent charge dispute with this business. I cancelled my membership one month ago and STILL got charged today. Unilaterally charging for services unwanted, unrendered, and explicitly cancelled and then not refunding it -- is a scam. As if that were not enough, the gym itself is dirty. Locker room wasn't clean a single time I went inside.

Negative experience: This gym makes it impossible to cancel a membership. As a recent graduate who moved away from auburn, I have been attempting to cancel my membership from out of town. Crunch makes this essentially impossible. I recommend using a gym like tiger iron, or anytime fitness. UPDATE: after 3 more months of reaching out to crunch, I have still been unable to cancel my membership. If this company wasn’t a scam, they wouldn’t make it this difficult for people who move.
Hello Jack. Thanks for your feedback but I am unsure why anyone would have difficultly in cancelling their membership if they followed our policy? As you will recall--when you joined--you signed a membership agreement that required you to stop by and sign the cancellation form at the time of your departure from Auburn. You also acknowledged that you would provide a 30 day cancellation notice. I don't personally have any knowledge of Tiger Iron or Anytime Fitness--but I am sure they do a terrific job.
