The Atilis Gym Bellmawr

Fantastic experience: First, Frank the Owner of Atilis in Bellmawr is truly a great guy! If your someone new coming in for the first time, or maybe just popping in from a far, YES it can be a little intimidating at first for you, as it is even with my clients. But...intimidation is all it is..because you're surrounded by a lot of great people who are always willing to help, and support you!! Just ask for help, and almost anyone in that place will take your "6". Check out some of the pictures/video below, and I will try to add more over time for those of you interested. Positive experience: The gym is okay but it isn’t cleaned very well and the loose weights are disorganized

Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve ever been to. Here’s why: Month to month membership fees, with no contract like other gyms. Supplement store in house at great prices. Ability to purchase single workout supplements (pre workout, intra workout etc) Not typically packed, so you aren’t waiting to use equipment. Awesome, loud music (80s, 90s, grunge, Megadeth, 2pac - all kinds of stuff) Seasoned members that will point you in the right direction if you ask. Communal energy. Any interaction I’ve had with Frank has been great. Pro America and Pro Military gym. If you can’t see past that, which is your choice, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Positive experience: Good gym for heavy lifters. Pro American and pro military. But damn this gym is dirty. It’s like the guys here take pride in a dirty gym and hella dude never wipe down equipment after use.

Negative experience: Great spot if you want quality ringworm. Great spot if you support vehicular homicide, DUI 2nd, pubic hair beards, and failed congressional campaigns. If you’re looking for a gym run by a holocaust denier and antisemite, look no further.

Fantastic experience: Frank is an awesome owner who runs a great gym. All the equipment you need for your lifts and routine; good cardio selection; motivating crowd. Super clean. Visiting Philly for work ... worth the I-95 traffic and driving past Planet, LA, and Fusion to get there. Pro America!

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I've been to across both the South Jersey region and other cities. Equipment is great, management gives no BS, and no BS is expected from members. These three things lead to a great gym with a great environment. Will be training here every time I visit the area.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working out 5x per week for over 15 years now and I decided to stop in while home on leave (Marines). Let me tell you, this is the single-best gym I’ve ever been to. Definitely tailored towards the advanced lifter with kilo plates and proper deadlift bars. If you’re an experienced lifter trying to get the most out of your workouts, this is the place to be. The staff is awesome and the gym isn’t packed. Prices are great, on-par, if not better than most other gyms.

Negative experience: I donated $25 to the "murpheyfavoritegym" legal fund. They scammed me by putting it on a reaccurring monthly billing. There's a very obscure checkbox to make it a one time donation. Be aware!

Negative experience: Had to be in Camden County for a week and decided to work out here. Overall, not up to my standards. If you're a small business owner in a town of ten thousand people, who talks a lot of trash in the media, your establishment better be fantastic. Atilis was not. Tips: fix the machines, get the HVAC system serviced, rack. the. loose. weights.

Fantastic experience: Whatever you think of the politics (I agree with them; all livelihoods are 'essential'), it's probably the best gym in the area for the price. Good layout, good equipment and plenty of it. The staff and gymgoers are very friendly; people are just there to patronize a solid business and work out. Reviews claiming it's in disrepair are fake, stop in and see for yourself. Shame on NJ for bullying a private business who stood up to their insane, unconstitutional, and unscientific covid measures.

It is inspiring and it truly represents what We The People are about. Strength, integrity, courageousness, etc. If your not able to attend in person you can donate on their website and support freedom and Ian running to drain the swamp in Congress. Kudos

Positive experience: Its a gym for those who want to lift. No basketball court or swimming pool. Its definitely a hard core gym. It also has the atlas stones and heavy bags.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I were visiting Philly from Chicago and I didn’t realize how close the gym was so we decided to stop by. I’ve been following the page/Ian for awhile now and finally got a chance to check it out and buy a sweatshirt to support. The atmosphere/staff was great and hopefully we can get a workout in next time we’re in the area

Fantastic experience: Was looking for an alternative to Planet Fitness to focus on free weight barbell exercises. Been going for about 6 months now. The staff is willing to chat, offer advice and guidance. The people there are supportive of each other's goals. I've added tons of weight to all my lifts now that I have access to the right gear. Great atmosphere. Great community.

Fantastic experience: These guys (Ian Smith in particular) are rockstars, staying open against all odds, giving their community a way to lift weights, stay fit & stay sane, while the government wants people to stay home; fat & dumb. Keep up the good work! Buying a shirt now to show solidarity while working out at my gym in CO.

Negative experience: I cannot speak for the gym itself, but beware ordering merchandise from them online. Being in a different state, I wanted to support them and what they stand for, so I placed an order for a sweatshirt. Several days after I placed that order I was informed that the item was out of stock and would take at least two weeks to come in. Okay, cool. Several weeks go by, no additional updates. I attempt to contact them numerous times, numerous ways - all go ignored. If you're going to be a merchant, you must be willing to do the tedious customer service stuff that goes along with that. If you're going to put forth integrity as one of your tenets, don't take someone's money, not fulfill an order, and then completely ignore them. It's a real shame because they're doing great things in so many regards, but this situation is just completely avoidable and unacceptable.

If you want to be told you can’t come to the gym cause your 5yo daughter with lvl 3 autism can’t wear a mask and they Don’t care what her issues are Thn feel free to go to the ymca .

Fantastic experience: I've been training off and on for 20 years....if you love the gym and that lifestyle this is the gym for you....top of the line equipment more than enough for whatever your fitness goal is....almost everyone there trains seriously from beginners to competition level athletes....I want to thank Frank and Ian personally, I was in a serious accident last year and from that and not being able to go to gym most of last year blood pressure ran very high where 2 different doctors said its life threatening if I don't go on meds....a few months here blood pressure is normal and feel fantastic....these guys took enormous pressure by staying open and dealing with stress most of us wouldn't want and bottom line best defense against covid or any other virus is staying healthy so salute guys and thank you

Fantastic experience: Great gym , great environment , clean and many machines along with free weights . They have multiple racks for overhead presses /squats , deadlift platforms w/loading bars & strongman gear . The cardio /interval area is upstairs and machines are updated , always working and clean. Wish I lived closer !! 100% recommend this gym .

Fantastic experience: People say if you wanna get stronger... be the weakest one at your gym. Hopefully that isn't the case with myself, but I've never lifted harder than at Atilis. 12 weeks post op from a severely broken ankle and I lifted harder than I had in the last 10 years. It's no wonder why this is the "Mecca". This place and the people who lift here will force you to have a better workout. Love the patriotism, the atmosphere, and the dudes and gals who run it. Hats off to Ian and Frank for standing up to the woke mob and undeniably idiototic Phil Murphy and fighting for their business and their way of life.

Fantastic experience: A gym where members come to work out using weights not their smartphones. Has all kinds of the equipment and accessories you need for a proper workout. I don’t mind driving from Philly paying tolls two/three times a week to be able to pump some iron at Atilis. Great people and atmosphere. Everyone treats each other with respect. There used to be issues with racking the weights back to their place but that has been taken care of. Despite all the hurdles owners had had, THANK YOU for letting us train during COVID.

Fantastic experience: I gotta admit I was reluctant to train here after all the stuff in the media about this gym. I quickly realized how incredible this place is as soon as I stepped foot inside. The place is immaculate, the staff is super helpful, and it has a true classic bodybuilding vibe to it. The atmosphere is great with iron weights and old school equipment. Even though I went at peak hours, I never had to wait for any machines or benches - which is very rare for a gym in this area. Whoever is running this place knows what they’re doing and has done a phenomenal job. Highly recommend visiting!

Fantastic experience: Definitely gotta thank frank and Ian for all they have done for the gym. From the new equipment, to being aware of the needs to be sanitary, and knowing their visitors by name. It’s a welcoming gym environment where guests put the weights back and the staff is helpful and friendly. Their visual and physical support for our military and our Vets isn’t seen at a gun elsewhere! Been a member from the start and will be for life!

Fantastic experience: Frank, Ian, and all the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I’ve been here several times and absolutely love the atmosphere and the diverse equipment and things you can do here. Strongman? Yep! Powerlifting? Yep! Boxing? Yep! Lastly, and most importantly, this gym is safe. You have the FREEDOM to workout here.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, nice staff and people. Facility has a we are one and we all have the same goal to make ourselves better. Great vib! It’s NOT like walking into a planet fitness morgue where nobody wants to be there and can’t wait to go how. One odd thing I have never seen with my travels around the world (positive / negative) training with bare feet. This might be great for a few. A little dangerous and crazy for me but each his own.

Fantastic experience: I went with a friend that got me in. This is a place for serious lifters. Almost everyone in here was in great shape. This place is nothing like Planet or LA fitness. If you want to come to this gym you better be ready to grind.
