Negative experience: Nepotism ruined another great business. Used to be THE gym to lift if you were serious. Now it’s a complete joke. No wonder why these smaller hardcore gyms are popping up all over and are very successful.

Fantastic experience: I was down visiting the Jersey Shore this past weekend (live in PA) and asked if I could take a look around this gym. Absolutely beautiful! (In it's own unique, hardcore way) I was in absolute heaven. I told my girlfriend I would sleep in a cot in the basement at this place if I could. Any one who is lucky enough to live around this and train here, I salute you. Absolute gem and I'll get a lift in the next time I am down. -Spaz

Nothing more, but added some good classes I've heard just haven't had time! $53 month to month as i travel a lot so best for me or can get cheaper if do 3 months-yearly memberships i believe around $35 about "a dollar a day" Can get lil to crowded at times, just wish they had better Wi-Fi i still feel stuck in 1997 sometimes when im there! lol

Fantastic experience: My favorite gym by far. Old school vibes. They have a great blend of new and old equipment but it’s all well maintained and updated.

Fantastic experience: JSFS is the gym I was looking for but didn't even know it. After cycling through other chain gyms in the area, this place was recommended by a friend and I never looked back. Versatile range of equipment, excellent staff, clean, rarely crowded, and never a problem - not once in 5+ years of membership. Even the other members know what a gem it is and treat it as such. Ownership here is hands on and makes you feel welcome.

Negative experience: Walked in to see what equipment they had. Nobody was at the desk, so I just meandered around the entrance area. Eventually someone came in from outside and berated me for not checking in. Gym seems fine, if a bit rusty, but wow, what a terribly uninviting staff.

Positive experience: This Gym is pretty much a staple of Bradley Beach been around forever. I've only gone a few times so far but it has 3 levels.. first level is just a huge weight room when I say huge it's massive. The second level is mostly cardio.. bikes treadmills and stair climbers. The 3rd level is reserved for spin classes and such. The gym is opened 7 days a week 24 hours a day 365 days. I like that I can go wherever I want to. Nice selection of equipment I believe they have everything you need to get your beach body together. I purchased a year membership prices are pretty reasonable. I definitely recommend you coming here.

Positive experience: Was a member here for about 15+ years. Greg the owner is a very nice guy. The gym is conveniently located and open 24 hours. The classes are free with your membership and the instructors are good. Good local gym.

Positive experience: It's definitely better than most commercial gyms, especially if you're a casual gym goer. I'm not, and I've grown so accustomed to my powerlifting gym that it's quite the step down. There are two owners: Greg and John. Greg is great and gets along with just about anyone. John, on the other hand, can get moody. Don't let his mood ruin your day.

Fantastic experience: Great old school gym with good management and staff and very loyal members. Much of the equipment is on the older side but kept in good working condition. Focus is on lifting although there is a good amount of cardio equipment and classes (have never done a class there). They have recently replaced a rack of old style dumbbells with new rubber coated ones and added some new bars and other equipment. Rumor has it that they are adding more new equipment soon. Being open 24/7/365 is a great advantage too. Highly recommend, especially if you are a serious lifter.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to JSFS for years and I can honestly say it's the best gym I've ever gone to. I'm not saying that I'm any kind of expert (I'm not!) but I have been working out since 1980, I just include that for context as I have been to many gyms. Greg, John, Julia and Jake treat their business like the smart farmer treats the Golden Goose. The staff are amazing one and all. The members of JSFS are solid awesome people. I recommend JSFS wholeheartedly!

This isn't a boujie gym, no fancy brand new stuff, no saunas or steam rooms... but if you want to pump iron, this is the place to go. Pricing is very reasonable, place is clean, staffs cool. Equipment is pretty well maintained also.

Small from the outside but plenty of space to workout without interrupting others. The group classes are amazing. Each class adheres to every level of fitness.

This gym has a rustic atmosphere cemented by the brick walls and you can’t beat the hours 24/7 365; you’ll have a hard time finding that anywhere else. I highly recommend it, for they have a plethora of equipment and plenty of space to get your sets in. I personally recommend this place to my friends and family and any person serious about getting a good workout in.

Positive experience: I only have to walk 2 minutes to get here so it's a huge convenience factor. The gym and equipment is pretty old but the staff and class instructors are all very nice. As long as I go off hours I find plenty of room and weights I need. No frills, large gym, all you really need.

My personal favorite is kickboxing on Sundays the instructor definitely kicks your ass and expects you to try your best. If you go often enough he will push you to improve.
