Positive experience: Facility is small, but great equipment. Can be very overcrowded at times. Staff and other gym goers are all typically friendly. If you like the old school gym vibes this is the place. Very outdated administrative system regarding memberships, no digital key fobs, limited hours, and no access online. Really anything a gym in 2024 should have outside of basic bodybuilding gym equipment, it does not have. The gym seems to be stuck in the early 2000’s. Great for lifting, but not for anything else such as the membership side. If you need to cancel or change your membership, good luck. See other reviews for how difficult this business is regarding this. The business model seems to be more about how to take as much of your money as possible rather than to help the people paying for the memberships. If you never plan to move or cancel your membership it is worth it, otherwise, good luck.

Fantastic experience: The king of Mr. Olympia-esque gyms in Colorado. This place is serious, focused, well-rounded, and as hardcore as it gets. Atmosphere is unmatched. If you're serious about your fitness, this is the place to be. Show up, go hard, be relentless.

Negative experience: I never missed payments and then covid happened, the gym was closed down and they refused to freeze the account. The manager just demanded $170 to cancel. I had moved out of state to keep a job so there three valid reasons to just sweep it under the rug or hold off until I moved back to CO. well, not these people... Over 1 year later, without saying anything to me, they reported a collections to my credit for a mere $150 which was less than I was even told I owe!

Fantastic experience: Top 5 gym in the nation, only following gyms like Hollywood Gym and Zoo Culture in LA and my Pro Gym back home in NW Indiana. Signs of a good gym? More weights > cardio. Only two rows of cardio, every weightlifting thing you need to get in shape. Clean gym. Locally owned by Dylan and Andrea and the whole staff is always super friendly and on it. Best gym in CO and Top 5 nationwide. <3

Negative experience: Was recommended this gym by my strength coach. Great facility. I'm sure the owner is an awesome guy. But I had to leave Colorado for family 4 months into my 12 month gym membership. No worries, I understand how those things go, so I told them I understand they have to charge me for the full 12 months. So after I get charged for month 13, I email and they tell me it was an automatic renewal month to month afterward, and that I needed another 45 day notice to cancel. I told them notified them 8 months ago, but they still refuse to reimburse or work with me. Its not a ton of money, but its the principal of the thing. Just felt like a pretty crummy thing to do. I already honored my end of the deal and paid for 8 months worth of a membership in a state I didn't even live in. I understand that part. But playing this fine print, "auto month to month, 45 day notice" game after I clearly stated my intentions months ago just doesn't seem right. Take it as you will.

Positive experience: Nice gym but one of the employees (woman with glasses) made insensitive comments about my appearance. While it may have been unintentional, I felt it was highly unprofessional and unnecessary.

Fantastic experience: One of the coolest gyms I’ve been to in my opinion I would highly recommend it if you’re big into body building or just a normal gym goer it has an atmosphere that most people who are big into body building and self improvement would enjoy you can tell there has been blood sweat and tears put into this gym and multiple generations of bodybuilders I would highly recommend it the people at the front desk we’re easy-going and helpful as well

Fantastic experience: one of the coolest gyms i’ve ever been to!! it is $20 for a day pass but they have all the equipment you could dream of! there’s also energy drinks and protein shakes.

Fantastic experience: Armbrust is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to. I live in Colorado Springs so it’s a haul to get there, but absolutely worth it! The collection of machines - eclectic, yet absolutely the best design for each function, always result in a highly effective workout (my faves are the Atlantis full ROM lateral raise and the Hammer Strength lying rear delt fly machine, among many others)The environment is absolutely supportive, regardless of level. The posing room and classes are a must for anyone looking to compete - I’ve learned a lot! Kudos to Dylan, Zach and team for creating and managing Armbrust Pro Gym!

Positive experience: This place is cool, has good equipment top of the line machines the owner Dylan is very nice and welcoming some of his staff and trainers aren’t, a lot of the trainers walk around like some mad pit bulls! besides that good spot!

Fantastic experience: Best gym I have ever been to hands down! Strangely enough it is also the least I have ever paid for a gym membership. Even lower cost than a rec center. More equipment than I have ever seen. The owner is super cool too. Don't be intimidated by all the huge guys and girls who work out here. Unlike many gyms where there are a lot of wanna be body builders this gym is full of true body builders (even the current Mr Olympia) that are really cool. Never have trouble finding a spotter and have even received many great tips. Can't recommend this place enough.

Negative experience: Predatory practices, won't let you cancel and will keep charging your card no matter what.

Negative experience: Compleat and uder disregard to their contracts and billing, after going back and forth over a month ago with their billing and cancelation with them after initially canceling they have continued to bill me and add on extra months stating if it's not paid it will go to collections. We'll guess what, I have my initial cancelation in writing and you should really consider sending me that refund.

Fantastic experience: I've been to many a gym in the past 20 years of lifting. This is by far the best. Best equipment I've seen, and the staff is great. It's like a second home.

Fantastic experience: Loved it! Great machines and lots of weight to push around (up to 150lb rubber dumbells). The gym is divided into several areas: complete upper body area, massive leg room (don't you dare skip it!), and a stretching/posing room...oh yeah, and some cardio machines. They also have locker rooms, a pro shop (to get your pwo and protein) and lots of merch. I must say, you can tell it's a "pro" gym...there are some BIG boys in there, including some champs. When Phil H's arms are as big as large thighs...it's for real. $20 for a day pass, but for an avid lifter from up in ski country, worth the fee for a special trip to a pro gym. Even if you're no pro, it's still an excellent place to work out. Do it.

Fantastic experience: I worked out at Armbrust during my 3-month stay in Denver. When you get there, an unassuming strip mall exterior gives way to a world-class facility, populated with the meatiest of humans. Staff is friendly, equipment selection is expansive, and swag is fly. It can get busy at peak hours, so it's worthwhile to go midday if possible. I highly recommend Armbrust to anyone looking to crush weights in Wheat Ridge.

Fantastic experience: Joined Armburst Pro Gym back in September when I relocated back to Denver. Hands down the best gym I’ve ever belonged to. They have every type of barbell, dumbbell, machine, apparatus and equipment imaginable. The space is huge and you never feel crowded. There is even a dedicated Leg Day Room. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The clientele is a nice mix of friendly people and inspiring athletes. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: They refused me for being new membership customer to pay$25 down contact today because of my disabilities and been bullied booted me out of door due their mispercieve of miscommunication. I can't understand them with face masked covered. They threw out my phone out of door into parking lot shattered my phone and called police on me. What kind of this undignified treatment I received....

Negative experience: These people will charge your credit card for unauthorized fees and purchases. DO NOT put your financial information on file with them for any reason. My wife was charged beyond the scope of her contract and after many attempts to correct the matter her account was sent to collections. Again, if you trust these people with your credit card information you will regret it. STAY AWAY.

Don’t expect the super slick polished place but instead a place with everything you need to meet your fitness goals.
