Negative experience: I was driving by and wanted to check out the gym. I tried to open the door but it was locked, then a guy with a mustache came out and told me I need an appointment to even walk in the door and look. What type of gym is this??

Negative experience: Beware of the contract length before signing up, as they will make it impossible to cancel if you decide to end your membership, I didn't realize that I signed up for an 18-month contract when I joined, when I asked to cancel my membership early as I wanted to try a different sport for a while, their answer is no. after a lot of back and forth they said we can cancel if you Pay $250 ( Which is 7 month for early termination). you can find much better memberships with no long contracts at much nicer facilities elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: THIS REVIEW IS SO LONG OVERDUE, BUT THANKFULLY I HAVE REMEMBERED TO GIVE MY THANKS TO THIS AMAZING PLACE!!! Back in December of 2023, I was really looking for the right gym to get back into the groove. This was going to be my first time doing things on my own after previously going to group trainings at The Camp. The moment I signed up like LITERALLY THE MOMENT I SIGNED UP and called Alberto, I felt like I made the right choice. Feeling comfortable was my number one priority and it was definitely granted HERE. Everyone- AND I MEAN EVERYONE that works here is so friggin nice! They really do care about helping you and if you have any questions they are so eager to help you! I have been to different gyms and can 100% CONFIDENTLY SAY, that there is no other gym like this one! And it’s really not just about the name, but it’s about the people working here who create such an amazing experience for everyone coming to just de-stress, unwind, and prioritize themselves. I really looked forward to coming here EVEN AFTER WORK :,) If I could carry this gym around with me in my back pocket, I really would! Unfortunately, I had to move so this place isn’t as close to me as it used to be :( but man I miss it so much! This experience will definitely be setting the standard for every other gym I look to apply to! INSIDE THE GYM YOU CAN EXPECT: other gym goers respecting each others space and the equipment. -a safe and easy way to get in (ya need a special pass to get in) -a clean shower space and clean restrooms - open equipment because even when it’s busy IT’S STILL NOT AS PACKED AS REGULAR GYMS -lockers with the the key and lock already provided for you -a charging station for your phone -mirrors to check yourself out haha I would really recommend anyone to come and check this place out!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym since summer of 2023 and my first impression is it feels like a fully operational home gym away from home. The bathrooms are so clean one can probably eat off it lol. Great dumbbells and kettle bells options Most importantly, the new staff is super friendly and do such a superb job in cultivating good vibes. This is the only AF location I know that has a hiking club and promote community engagement through friendly challenges (i.e. plank and high jump, etc.) Keep up the great work Alberto and team

Fantastic experience: It’s available anytime I want to work out. That’s why it’s called anytime fitness. The people here are great in helping you to reach your goal. Michael is so energetic and he answers all your questions that you may have regarding meals, using the fitness machines and always greeting you with a big smile. Love working out here. Never have to wait to use a fitness machine and it’s always clean and neat.

Fantastic experience: This is absolutely my preferred gym when in the area. It's always clean, never too packed in the mornings (I've gone at every hour 5AM - 1PM), plenty of parking out front/around the side and has the necessities for a solid lift. People are often regulars, so you tend to see familiar faces. You may even get the "nod" greeting if you become a regular yourself. These are some of the things I tend to look for when trying out a new gym and this location hit all the marks. I mainly weightlift (cardio who), but I've seen Coach Michael lead some workout classes and decided to join when he invited me to try. Always good to try new things, right, and it seemed like he did well at adjusting workouts to each person's level of fitness. I asked him to challenge me and I knew he would. Had me SWEATIN' with some conditioning training. The high fives, high energy, encouraging words and dance moves actually made the 170 heart rate and heavy breathing worth it. I felt both comfortable and challenged by a coach who is genuine and dedicated to his craft. Definitely recommend trying a class.

Fantastic experience: Very clean facility. They have your basics: 2 squat racks, db rack, 1 smith machine, 1 leg press, cable machine, turf, kettlebells, jump boxes, and of course machines. Everything you need to get your training done. I do wish they had plate loaded machines for your back, but you can always modify with what they have. Only thing is if there’s more than 5-6 people in there using the gym (excluding treadmills), it starts to feel crowded. But you gotta love the 24 hr accessibility so u can go anytime!

Fantastic experience: I love coming to this gym. I started coming here last year in May and I have to say I am very impressed with this business. For one, it is exceptionally clean, always. I have never had an issue with feeling like something was disgusting or too dirty to use. This is big for me because at several other gyms I have been to, I have noticed that there is not much effort on behalf of the staff to keep things clean. This brings me to my next point. The staff. I really like the people who work here. They are extremely friendly and courteous whenever I come in, always asking how I am doing and what not. The three gentleman and young lady who I have come across during my time here are really great workers. In addition to these two things, I enjoy the fact that the gym is so small. To some it may be a nuisance, but I like it because it can be overwhelming to walk into a gym where there is a rather large amount of people. I do not experience that here. Plus, the equipment provided here, although not much, is still enough to get a good workout in. Those who complain about this simply do not know how to make do with what they have!

Positive experience: Clean little private gym. Open 24/7. I never come during the day. It's too small to handle 20 people at once tho and it gets pack all thru the day. Very little parking space.

Fantastic experience: The facilities are always very clean and tidy. As a female, I feel safe going to this location to complete my workouts. There is hardly ever a large crowd and I feel supported by the staff. There is a wide variety of equipment available for everyone to use and while I have had to make adjustments during my workouts, there is always something to accommodate me.

Negative experience: I brought my 6 years old son to this gym because no one can take care. I just let him sit on the couch and gave him iPad. One trainer told me not to bring kids. I asked why not? The answer was policy and liability. Well theb what about single mom or single daddy can't even use this gym while caring is not available...?? I'm wondering. What policy and what liability?? Who made stupid policy...?? I've been member of this gym since "Opening"

Negative experience: I joined recently and very pleased with the gym but I have to say there should be somebody there early morning to monitor the gym, I usually go early am cause I do graveyard and the other day there was a guy doing crossfit or something and hogging like 4 equipment sets, being very loud and obnoxious, throwing weights and then running to another side of the gym to work on another machine and back and forth , it was very unpleasant.

Negative experience: Watch this place. I was told to show up for an appointment for a special six week offer. I showed up ten minutes early to a gym that stays open 24 hours and the door was locked. Stated hours on the door 12pm to 6pm. I even received an email that said text HERE when I arrive, but got back no answer until over two hours later.

The 12 PM to 6 PM hours listed on the door are weekday staffed hours for new customers. Since your appointment was at 12 PM & you came earlier than your appointment time, we didn't have any staff available at the facility at that time. Fantastic experience: More than thankful with the Anytime fitness La Palma team! I was looking for a program to aid me reaching a goal I made myself a few months back. Not only did I gain fitness knowledge, but I also learned about food and daily life habits I can adjust in order to help me get to where I wanted. Fantastic experience: When I made the decision to get healthy it was the same day I found Anytime Fitness LaPalma. I like the small gym, which makes me feel comfortable. I’m not looking for a quick fix, but a life time change… I finally found it. Deepak, my trainer, is also teaching me about healthy eating and making it easy, not complicated. Also, with his training and guidance I recently completed my first 5K and it feels amazing.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, friendly members. Fellow members have respect for your space and property. Left my stuff out in the open multiple times without ever worrying about it getting stolen. Fellow members are polite and ask permission if there is an attachment or bench nearby that you may be using. No ego lifters or bad attitudes. Everyone is here to improve themselves. Sure, there are cheaper memberships out there, but that in itself comes with a price. You can pay $10 / month at Planet Fitness but also consider the time to find a parking spot, potentially having your belongings stolen from your locker and having to modify your workout due to the overcrowding at peak hours. Here at Anytime Fitness, I have shown up at different times on different days/nights and the most people I have seen at once was probably 10. I have never had to modify my workout or daily schedule after joining AF. They have machines for cardio such as Ellipticals, bikes and treadmills. There are also machines to target each muscle group and of course, free weights (dumbbells/ barbells) They have 4 restrooms, 2 with showers. Get your workout in, wash, rinse. Come back tomorrow to do it all over again. Anytime Fitness is awesome!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to workout! Staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is always clean, well air conditioned, and feels very safe and secure (you have to have a key to get into the building). They have multiple squat racks and other free weights, exercise machines, cardio equipment, smith and cable machines, a turf area with a tank, punching bag, and the list goes on- everything you could need for a great workout!

Fantastic experience: This Anytime Fitness Location is by far the cleanest facility I’ve seen. Equipment is new and I like the functionality of the floor layout. It is very Feng Shui. Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Anytime for approximately 1.5 yrs. It is an excellent facility w/all the needed equipment & assistance anyone would require to get & maintain their fitness level goal. I travel frequently around So. Cal. and visit other Anytime gyms. One of the nicest aspects of this facility is how clean it is. None of the other Anytime gyms is clean like LaPalma. Day 2 Day services cleans/maintains this gym. Abraham Moreno, the owner of Day 2 Day is directly involved in the process & his staff does an EXCELLENT job! Thank you Anytime LaPalma for a healthy & clean environment!

Fantastic experience: I joined this AF location early of 2022, bounced around to other AF’s (WI, Long Beach, NorCal) due to work and this one has got to be my favorite location thus far. Shout out to the staff there, Abraham, Mike, & Deepak for maintaining the culture in this gym. They’ve been helpful & supportive in so many ways. This place is well lit with natural lighting from the open windows. Can be a con for other fitness members but I don’t really care if the public can see me. The layout is open giving a spacious feeling. Also, this location is fairly clean, convenient disinfectant wipes within reach, & etc. It has up to date equipment that allows me to reach my fitness goals (weightlifting). Definitely a gym I can rely on to reset my headspace if all others fail.

Fantastic experience: Central location. Clean facility. Amazing customer service. The manager, Abraham, was friendly and approachable. He helped me get checked in and was very patient and helpful! All equipment was working and clean. It has all the equipment I need. This gym is easily accessible at ANYTIME, so it’s perfect for busy people like me. I highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: This is a great small gym that is clean, well equipped and maintained. People are friendly. I’m an 80 year old silver and fit member. My coach, Deepak, has helped me improve on my balance and overall fitness as I work in my small group. Having a coach helps you achieve your goal in a safe way. You can use the fitness app for extra training. Abraham, the manager, explained their plans and has been very supportive. Both Deepak and Abraham know your name and always make you feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: I like visiting different Anytime locations whenever I get the chance and this is the cleanest, most modern location I've been to. I think some dumbbells should be added to the purple turf area and shift some equipment around, get a real curl bar or replace the straight bars and you'll be set. Now, the restrooms are amazing. A nice little leather cube for my gym bag, plenty of hooks, and the sink head is extremely practical. I think the clean modern look is cool and the space out area is nicethe space out area is nice but more equipment would be best even if it gets a bit more "cluttered". Overall a great gym and highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Became a member at this gym in 2020 after the pandemic and have loved it ever since. I have been a member to few other gyms but anytime fitness tops that list.The trainers have always been friendly and approachable and I like the fact that it isn’t packed like the other gyms. Fantastic experience: Having signed up for a six-week challenge, I surprised myself by losing 11 lbs over the period. The trainers were sensitive to my lower back issue & tailored the workouts to focus on strengthening my core. The facility itself is immaculate, with a variety of equipment, always kept clean & there are several stations setup with wet wipes to clean up the areas you touched once you are done. Furthermore the head trainer Deepak is pleasant and always there to answer any questions be it regarding nutrition, proper posture for specific workouts or the equipment. I’d highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I really like this gym. It’s very clean and organized. The staff members are friendly & helpful. When I was first shown around, every piece of equipment was explained, demonstrated, and then he had me trying. Then he suggested a schedule to follow. I am one of the oldest members, but no one has ever made me feel uncomfortable, or that I didn’t belong there. I feel very safe there, and that’s important to me.

Fantastic experience: I love how private Anytime Fitness gym is and super clean. Everyone pretty much follows the rules to wipe and sanitize after themselves. People put back equipment after they're done with it. Overall the people here have really great gym etiquette. That's mainly what I was looking for. I feel like public gyms are so crowded and dirty but Anytime Fitness, although is small, never too crowded and literally everyone cleans up after themselves. The staff are super friendly and helpful as well. They always say hi and bye to everyone. They're always there to make sure you have a good gym sesh.

I especially love the sense of security there is with it being a private gym. The equipment and machines are all in great condition. Fantastic experience: Been a member of this gym since 2020ish(?) and honestly really like it. I don’t like going to the gym because it’s always packed and using free weights is always difficult. This gym is private and the most number of people I’ve seen is around 10 people which is great. There’s always wipes stocked and ready to be used, everything is clean, and a lot of friendly people. Abraham is also great. He’s nice, friendly, and always offering to help out! Offers advice and tips on how to better our workout session - a big plus for me since I’m not knowledgeable in workouts.

Fantastic experience: I have to say I haven’t been to a gym for many years. I came in yesterday with my neighbor and I have to say this has been the best decision I have made in a very long time. Abraham is the nicest guy you will meet. He was very patient with me and worked with us on the equipment. What a difference having someone who cares about what you are doing and wants to see you succeed. Went again today and Abraham worked with us on using the machines. He pushed us to do more and we did. I know that working with Abraham I am going to see results! The gym is very comfortable. Everyone is doing their thing and there is no judgement .The gym is very clean and all the machines we have used have been great. We have so much more to learn and I can’t wait. I am feeling pretty good knowing that this time I will succeed and make new life long habits. I highly recommend this gym for anyone who is just starting an exercise routine or who has been working out for years. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Love my local Anytime Fitness! Apart from being open literally any time, their facility is always clean. There are also plenty dumbbells and machines so you don’t have to wait around for a machine to become available. There have been several times I am the only one there, it feels like I have the playground all to myself. To top it off the staff is always super helpful and treat you like family. In addition, you have bathrooms that have private showers so you don’t have to worry about people walking around naked haha. To anyone out there looking for a hassle free non intimidating gym experience this is the place to go!

Negative experience: Employees are great people! But this gym is not worth the money we pay for, very small, less amenities, no jaccuzi, no pool, no sauna still really so pricey

Negative experience: Too expensive for what it offers and lack of equipment. The staff is very friendly but they don't give training tips to members who do it incorrectly and there are a lot of them. The showers are in poor condition. People always rest and use their cell phones sitting on the few available weight machines and you always have to wait.

Fantastic experience: A great low-key gym. I haven't experienced any crowds here, and the facility feels clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I was able to easily sign up for a membership through Active and Fit Direct. It's nice being able to work out any time at Anytime!

I made an appointment with Abraham, the general manager and I was impressed with not only the gym but also with the outstanding customer service that Abraham provides. All of the machines and equipment are top of the line and seem very new, plus they keep this gym very clean and in pristine conditions. I definitely recommend this location . Positive experience: The gym is alright, pretty small compared to other anytime fitness for sure. I would say this gym does have some modern day equipment. And does IN FACT HAVE mainly everything you need honestly for a good workout in! It’s a clean gym overall, and the restroom were clean, the restroom fountain was definitely a new thing I had to figure out. The air comes out from the sink to dry your hands fyi. Overall it’s a GOOD LOCAL Gym for sure. Just honestly WISH most of all anytime fitness gyms were bigger in general, I feel like it would definitely improve the gym overall and make it more worth the money. Downsides: The see through mirrors are definitely a NO for me, I felt pretty awkward knowing people can see me, especially since there is a McDonald’s across from you and literally everyone can see you inside so just take that into consideration. And what type of movements you would prefer to do. Also it’s a small gym, IT DOES HAVE room since the equipment is spaced out, but yeah I wouldn’t make this my go to unless I go late honestly or when there isn’t much people. I definitely can see this gym get crowded. Overall , not bad like I stated ! Hope to keep seeing the improvements in this gym, the equipment selection IS great, I am being for-real GREAT GREAT equipment selection!! The spacing out, and laying down looks great.
