The Detroit Medical Center has a long history of providing excellent medical care to the people of Metro Detroit. We are proud of our tradition of caring for our patients and their families.

The safety of our patients, visitors and staff is our top priority. To help create a safe environment for everyone, effective immediately, the DMC has put in place temporary visitor restrictions. These restrictions are as follows: no visitors under the age of 18 and only two visitors per patient at a time. We understand that these restrictions may cause some inconvenience, but we believe that they are necessary to help keep our patients, visitors and staff safe.
