Snap Fitness Round Lake

Fantastic experience: This gym is clean and well maintained. It never seems to be overcrowded and I am generally able to use the machines I want to. I also like that they keep towels and spray bottles for you to wipe down the machines with. I have been to other Snap gyms that do not have this. Overall, I would recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: This is the nicest and most well maintained gyms I’ve ever been to (including other Snaps)! Jeff and all of the staff are extremely friendly and work hard to keep the space and equipment in great condition. Every year Jeff is asking for feedback on bringing in new equipment and making changes around the gym. The best part is… he listens! You can tell the staff cares about the gym and it’s why I’ve stayed for so long! Amazing gym and atmosphere. I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a new gym

Fantastic experience: It’s been a good experience at snap so far! The gym is small but not over crowded. Equipment is well maintained and the gym is clean. Lots of TV’s and music always playing, which is nice if you forget your head phones! Would recommend

Fantastic experience: Very clean gym with nice bathrooms. Workout equipment always available even when it’s busy. Staff is always welcoming and even the members are friendly. In short, great environment to get your workout in.

Fantastic experience: Been a member of Zip, and LA Fitness. Snap Fitness beats those other places HANDS DOWN!!! Cleanliness is a top priority. The back ground music is not so obtrusive that you HAVE too wear earplugs. Safety is another thing altogether in that you need a keycard to enter, and my favorite is they are open 24-7. Also the owner Jeff is around so no need to call Corporate if you have a concern. It’s not a social club, it’s a fitness center.

Fantastic experience: It's a close and convenient place to work out for my house. It's nothing super fancy but it definitely gets the job done. I think the owner wants to expand the space a little bit. It doesn't get overcrowded yet, but the machines are close together My favorite part about the places is not full of gym bunnies or muscle head idiots. It's just regular people going to work out. They also have a really great trainer named Omar. He has been helping me and I've lost weight

Fantastic experience: Love coming to this gym, staff is always helpful when things come up. Also, very clean and you have everything needed to get a great workout in. Never full and there is no long wait for machines

Fantastic experience: Pretty solid and clean gym though I wish they had some more space, MTS row and MTS high row machines. Its a really cool vibe too when you come around midnight and it’s quiet and empty

Negative experience: Do Not Recommend! Owner is very unprofessional asked to take my picture because he’s trying to catch anyone who is not a member at the gym. Note they never once asked for picture before. Accusing me! Definitely seems racist. Will be canceling my membership going elsewhere I am not harassed! Women beware!!!

Fantastic experience: Always friendly and respectful. Gym is a good size and never too crowded in the morning. Big space to stretch and mobility work.

Negative experience: Don’t come to this gym if you want to lift heavy, you’ll just get harassed by the staff member Derek Wagner Because apparently it’s not a gym where you can do that. It’s the one where you have to NOT be too loud or else he gets bothered. He came up to me and try to blame me for gym damage when I had nothing to with it and I even told him to check the cameras.The actual owner has not told me anything in person and I have seen him on multiple occasions at their gym. 0/10 for this gym because of staff.

Negative experience: This guy Jeff is very unprofessional and rude, he changed my membership to his location and increased my monthly fee without any notice. In the other hand, the crew from the Round Lake Beach location is more friendly, Bennie the owner and the guy who takes care of the gym in the evenings are super nice.

But anytime past 5pm it’s packed The workers here and super nice as well and when you sign up they give you a run down of the place. No one here judges you which is why I love the gym. You do what you have to and everyone minds there business. Let’s get swole for 2022!

Fantastic experience: i love this place, but jesus christ jeff, please change the music it is absolutely garbage. Play the radio anything else please. Also fix the toilet it still isn’t flushing. Also please replace the water filter i can feel the lead fill up my lungs.

Fantastic experience: This Snap is my favorite. The staff is always friendly, the equipment is well maintained and in addition to the staff continually cleaning they have a surplus of bottles of cleaner and rags so that you can wipe equipment down before and after use. I can’t say enough good things about this location!

Fantastic experience: This place is great and I highly recommend it if you like clean, quiet gyms. The owner Jeff is a great business owner. This gym is super clean and well taken care of. It’s the nicest gym in this area. The owner actually puts money into his gym aka adding new equipment or fixing what is broken, which other gyms around here do NOT do. I have never seen it dirty in this gym. The bathrooms are always clean and taken care of. I have tried many gyms in the area and none of them do not compare. You definitely get what you pay for and this gym is worth it.

Fantastic experience: I love this snap! It’s always spotlessly clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly as well! There is a huge array of equipment to use. And the windows in front give the gym a very open feel. If you get nervous going to the gym, not to worry! It’s a very large space so you can bunker down in your own little corner. My favorite is the stair stepper, great cardio!

Negative experience: They never answer the phone!!!

Negative experience: Sign up is a pain after signing multiple waivers and disclosures 4 of them and having to do it twice. Then paying the fees. I still couldn't access the "home gym". I could access another gym. If you have issues with your card you can only get help from your home gym during managers hours. That can make it difficult to get help, it took them over 2 weeks to get me signed up with the disclosure paper work fiasco. However once your in everything is very nice plenty of equipment and not very many people working out. The staff is very friendly and willing to help....when they are there.
