Fantastic experience: Great gym, good air circulation clean Great staff

Fantastic experience: I have been to so many Anytime Fitness facilities around the country; this one in Kenosha is amazing! They have two floors of space/equipment. It is the first Anytime Fitness I have seen that has Red Light Therapy. The red light therapy is shaped like a tanning bed. I love the strong emphasis on overall health. It would pay to belong just for the red light therapy! The other thing that differentiates this location from the others is the Club Manager, Kierstin Casey. She is amazing. She knew I was only in town to visit my mother, yet she scheduled me for a full body composition scan. After the scan, she spent 20 minutes with me going over the results. She is a nutrition specialist! It is crazy the fantastic coaching that I received from her (all for free). How many Club Managers are nutritionist? She truly cares about your health! Okay, I know this is a glowing review, but this Anytime Fitness greatly exceeded my expectations!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding Gym. Excellent staff. Visited Kenosha for a weekend, sought a short term guest pass. Staff assisted efficiently and politely. Facility is very well equipped, very clean, and reasonably priced. Looking forward to my next visit.

Fantastic experience: Before January 2022 I hadn’t been to a gym since high school which was over 50 years ago. Once I decided to join one, Anytime Fitness turned out to be the best option for me because it’s not only close enough for me to walk to but I can go to the gym at anytime I want to go. I also attend a weekly trainer led fitness class and this really helps to guide me through my goals. If you’re thinking about enrolling at a gym and live in Kenosha I would highly recommend Anytime Fitness Kenosha

Fantastic experience: Planet fitness has a policy of letting high school students have memberships for free over the summer. They pretty much just sit in the equipment watching tiktok videos. If you are serious about working out go to anytime fitness. Costs a bit more but it's worth it.

Positive experience: I have read reviews how clean it is. I thought so too. But on closer inspection, nope, don't agree. Some equipment is well worn. Belt was wobbly on a treadmill I used. A bit cramped inside. Staff is quite friendly

Fantastic experience: Great gym! It has everything I need between the lifting side of my workouts and the cardio. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. The other members have all been courteous and share the space. Overall I really like this gym plus it’s got great people watching windows to Downtown when you’re on the treadmill.

Fantastic experience: Kenoshas best gym. They expanded to the second floor so there’s much more space and equipment than there used to be. Now they have everything you need. Trainers are all awesome and knowledgeable. Very clean and well kept. Showers are better than my home shower. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness downtown Kenosha is great! The facility has all of the equipment that i need and the entire staff is top notch. Personally i love the classes. They are convient and are not crowded. Their trainers even personalize your workout when a particular exercise doesn't work for you. We do the dreaded burpees but not too often! And what a gem they have in trainer Mark T., who has so much knowledge around movement mechanics and how to help folks improve their workouts. I have received excellent advice from him. I highly recommend this gym!

Positive experience: Overall the gym is mid. It kind of the does the job. The biggest selling point is probably the 24/7 availability. Membership is $70+/mo. with a biannual “enhancement” fee of $35(whatever that means). Sign up was about $220 with very little reasoning or itemization for the high price tag. The atmosphere is okay, it’s clean and neat but the age of the building peaks through especially in reception and in the “locker” area (or lack there of). I think the biggest set back for this gym is the identity crisis it seems to be going through. It’s not clear what the biggest selling point for the gym is. For such a high price tag you’re better off, and maybe richer off by finding a locally owned gym that actually tailors to a specific type of fitness. Planet Fitness is probably more or less the same type of workout capacity for SIGNIFICANTLY lower price. Honestly the monthly price of this is comparable to a higher end gym chain like LIFETIME fitness. The main difference being the high end, top of the line, expansive range of equipment something like LIFETIME has. The biannual enhancement fee is said to fund upgrades to the gym yet it feels like there is little to show for it. Take the newest turf downstairs, it feels more like a storage basement where the excess equipment is being housed. Having to lug multiple plates across the room just to enjoy the room’s biggest selling point which is the turf. This gym feels cheap even though it is not. I regret signing up without doing the free trial so I HIGHLY recommend using that before you commit. It’s competent enough that I won’t go looking for another gym however I would not feel comfortable referring anyone to this gym. As I read the reviews I am also turned off by the blatant deflecting from whoever runs the gym’s account that responds to these reviews. I guess it’s fitting for a gym to perform logic gymnastics in order to avoid accountability for any kind of criticism.

Fantastic experience: May not be the newest equipment but it makes up in it for being a very clean, friendly, organized facility. All the members take care of it like it's their own gym. Staff are friendly and greet you when you walk in. Also has good air conditioning. Location is amazing too!

Fantastic experience: LOVE this gym! Entry is super secure and feels exclusive. But it’s the staff that really makes this gym worth going to - there is always a friendly & encouraging face in the office or on each floor of the facility to greet and help every time I’m there. The downtown view from the cardio machines, especially of the lake, is wonderful while you’re working out. The difference between other gyms in the area and PF is here, you do t have that awkward overcrowded wait for machines, and there are amazing, experienced, dedicated trainers and a manager that are actually there to help and understand your needs/goals on a 1-on-1 basis!

Fantastic experience: As a senior with minimal gym experience, the fact that this is a smaller place makes it less intimidating and I appreciate that. The staff is friendly, encouraging and helpful, always ready to assist if you want or need it. The downtown location makes it convenient for me to attend my twice weekly class or come in ANYTIME. No reason, not to exercise!

They are very hands on and articulate with their wishes to be a welcoming part of the community around them. Some businesses open up and you never see the faces behind it. Cold endeavors. This place is the exact opposite of that. It just radiates with a personal and positive vibe.

Fantastic experience: Kenosha Native, NCAA All-American, Law Enforcement Officer I’ve been to almost every gym in the area, and this place has everything I need, on top of being open 24/7 (no more worrying about getting to the gym before it closes or skipping workouts on holidays). Lots of room with 2 floors open, and doesn’t get very packed. Has a great, all-around selection of equipment for any type of training needs.

Fantastic experience: Well taken care of and clean. It’s a smaller gym but the two floor layout makes it feel more spacious and it has all the necessities. With being a smaller gym, it’s never packed either which is a major win! There has been a pretty steady flow of improvements and new equipment since I’ve joined, as well. Absolutely would recommend.

I have been apart of this family you could call it for about 2/3 years and I’ve never ever been to a gym that’s more clean and welcoming and comfortable and motivating as this specific anytime fitness. The owners are great hardworking people that have dedicated their time and lives to help and support great health and fitness. They are extremely kind and are always in good spirit. When I started coming I felt a little nervous at first because I was out of shape and a new face but they opened their doors to me with open arms and have always treated me with respect and have always been people I’ve been able to learn a great deal from. Like I said their is so much I could say about this place but I’ll end it with this. Google needs to make a 10star review and that still wouldn’t be enough to rate this place. Positive experience: I like the part about anytime I'm currently a member of Planet Fitness and they forgot about 24 hours. So I went and check this place out very clean but bottom line it's accessible.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I can no longer afford this membership and due to covid I am uncomfortable working out at a public gym. When I brought these worries up and tried to cancel my membership with one of the gym employees, I was told that I must pay a $260 cancelation fee. Not only do I feel that is unreasonable given the current safety and health concerns, I don't recall ever signing or seeing a contract when my membership was transferred from Charter Fitness. I would not recommend this gym to anyone I know because of their failure to work with their clients.

Fantastic experience: Is this a pricey gym? Yes. No doubt. However, you get a nice location, accessible equipment — unlike Planet fitness and their traffic — actual free weights and 24/7 options. I started going back to the gym here after trying Planet Fitness and I much prefer this. I just wish the tanning beds were as good as Planet Fitness. Anyways, the bottom line is you pay for what you get and I think this is worth it. Cheers.

Fantastic experience: Just started at this gym. It's a great place to workout both floors have everything you need. The view of downtown is nice to have. Enjoying the gym all around. I would recommend!!! Only thing is they don't offer guests which was a downside. Most places offer that, even the more expensive gyms and clubs.

Fantastic downtown views, great window lighting, nicely decorated with bright colors to keep the mood up! The location puts you close to lots of restaurants for a post-workout snack. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to anytime fitness for 11 years and I love the gym. The owner Louie is a awesome guy he will listen to any problems you have and try to accommodate you. I never had a problem here for any reason at all and the staff are all friendly and willing to help anyway they may. The gym is actually expanding on are lower level to bring in more weight equipment which will take some time to get it all organized but it’s going to be great to have another workout area. Thanks Anytime Fitness for getting me motivated to come to a gym I love to come to everyday.

It is an older building but renovations are always kept up to keep things running smoothly. The gym owner is respectful and kind, and I've always felt comfortable coming to him with concerns. Fantastic experience: As a previous member and tenant of the building I can say with all honesty this is the best gym Kenosha has. The building is great! The lay out is nice if you want to work out with classes you can do that on 2nd floor... if you want to run and use machines you have a great view from the 3rd floor. And I always liked that the gym is never packed and loud with people dropping heaven weights. Also... If you know the owner- you can tell that the he has a genuine invested interest in helping people live healthier life styles. He is not only outgoing and friendly with everyone who walks in his doors he also will go the extra mile to help you feel comfortable and make sure his staff gets you on the right track. Louie, Jessica, Jackie & Mark work very hard to continue making Anytime Fitness the best fitness center in Kenosha. I like that it is not so large. The staff tries to help you to meet your goals. Louie has given so much back to this community. He treats everyone with kindness & respect. I find it sad to read a negative review on someone who is a positive influence in our community.

Fantastic experience: The Y was the family gym on the Southside, but since that’s been closed... I signed up for Anytime Fitness on my own, it is such nice addition to downtown. Love the view and how well it is maintained.

Fantastic experience: It is a great place to work out at, it's clean and just like the name you can go anytime that fits into your schedule. Douglas who was my personal trainer for about six sessions was great for the first time in my life I have defined muscles in my arms.

Negative experience: Well all I can say is the owner basically robbed me out of a month . When I still had month left said my contract expired when I never even had one . Beside the guy Louie in there is a creep .

Positive experience: Great place, good equipment, great staff. Pretty adequately equipped, there are some gyms which have pools, hot tubs, saunas, etc..., but overall the location is nice and it is open 24 hours.

Negative experience: Started off good. Of course membership prices raised. Never saw my contract! apparently it was ripped up by previous employee ( so I was told) along with some others! I asked for a new contract or a copy I never got it. Owner told me my contract (that I never saw) was going to expire ok so I didn't rewew it because I never had one! Continued to get charged even though I stopped going and never got a copy of my contract. Rip off!

Positive experience: Great gym, a little in the expensive side but not terribly expensive. Also it is just too small. 4 or 5 guys lifting and it seems crammed. Space is definitely the biggest down fall. It’s really clean and nice facilities. Full showers that are really nice.

Positive experience: Really convenient location, always clean, great staff. Only downside is missing a single pulley lat pull down machine and cable row which makes back day a little difficult. For the average lifter this is the perfect gym though. Tanning, 24/7 access, variety of equipment, you wont be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have been reading some of the reviews for Anytime Fitness facility in downtown Kenosha and the ones about an unclean facility, bugs, etc. are completely untrue. I have been using this location for two months now and have never seen it unclean. I have even been there and seen the cleaning lady myself who is very thorough. This is a great place to exercise. The owner and my trainer Doug are very friendly and knowledgeable. All the other patrons I meet are nice too. The place is always locked so only members have access with their past. Come and join me at this wonderful exercise facility.
