Negative experience: Not only is there not a planet fitness here, there isn't even a building here. I don't know whether or not planet fitness will open here again but there's certainly isn't one now unless it is underground

Negative experience: I enjoyed it while it was there, but this location closed, and the other locations are inconveniently located and ridiculously crowded. They desperately need to find a new place in NE Anchorage.

Negative experience: The place is closed and apparently has been for a year. I did not know this until this morning. Planet Fitness, Google, one of you has got to fix the status of this place to closed as it still shows open 24 hours.

Negative experience: The staff was really rude and acted like they didn't want you to be a part of the gym. I asked how to become a member and the female employee just said go online you do it yourself.

Fantastic experience: Good gym really clean! The staff is always working hard cleaning all the time. Equipment is always working hardly ever anything broken like some gyms. And it’s not to busy usually when I go.

Negative experience: I am so disappointed with how they are closed INDEFINITELY! It was convenient for myself to go to this location because it was near my home and work. Tho, there is other facilities we may go to they should really work on fixing up this place or opening another one near again. I enjoyed the customer service here and the machines were so much up to date.

Fantastic experience: Min and Matthew are stellar employees. They don't stare at their phones or do the bare minimum. Those guys are always hustling. I think they get just as much exercise as a customer. The facility is so clean and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Was in town for a few weeks and found this Planter Fitness. Very clean gym with all your standard PF equipment. I was walking in the gym between 3:30am and 4am and walking out between 5am - 530am. In those times I experienced a very friendly and welcoming staff. There was constantly something being cleaned or wiped down. Paper towels and spray bottles were available throughout the gym to allow people to wipe equipment off after use. Even though this was a small location, there was a nice flow to how the exercise machines were laid out. The equipment did seem to be older than what I'm used to seeing at other PF's. But everything was well maintained and in good working order. They have plenty of attachments for various grip options. If there was anything to complain about, Monday morning at my usual time they were closed until 5am. So I drove 15 mins and went to another PF on Diamond lane, which wasn't a big deal. All is all I would definitely recommend this gym and look forward to coming back.

Negative experience: This specific location has the worst manager service. Sherry I believe is her name. Always having her staff do the work while she is on her personal cell phone. Twice this has happened.. This is why I terminated my membership. I will not support and pay for horrible service

Positive experience: It's so dark in here. Trying to find a place to workout and be healthy in the middle of the dark winter you'd think it could be brighter. Better lighting, more windows. Something. Equipment seems to be working well. It's not the newer equipment that counts your reps, work out time and resting time, but they do work. Could use two of each machine. There are some doubles of machines but not all of them. Currently out of hot water in the locker rooms. Staff is decently kind and attentive.

Fantastic experience: Dre is the best employee ever. He's only been here a couple months but by far the best employee they have come across. He's very helpful n super friendly. He doesn't make you feel like he's just there for a check. You can tell he likes his job.
Fantastic experience: I did not go inside this business but from what I observed at nearly midnight in the morning as I walked by it is a 24-hour fitness club that has people frequenting it at all hours of the day I would assume that there's a good place to know too work out and probably shower

Fantastic experience: Spacious facility and friendly, helpful staff. One instance of the staff being helpful: Kennedy (PF worker) aided me in encouraging a stubborn member to continue elsewhere with his workout, as he was occupying a machine for a lengthy bit of time, watching videos on his phone. Doing so allowed me to finish up my workout and continue on with my day. So thankful for helpful staff. I am aware that PF has no set time for machines, but in the world of working out, occupying equipment for too long is a faux pax - You do what you need with it and move on.

Fantastic experience: Update #2: The staff is extremely responsive and have fixed the issue. This is a great customer service moment for them. Highly recommend. Keep up the great work! Update: I’ve upgraded a star because I appreciated the response from Planet Fitness. For a couple weeks since the review, the water was nice and hot. It’s tapered back down unfortunately so I’m not sure if something is wrong with the water system or if someone just adjusts the temps. But it isn’t getting hot again, just warm. It was mentioned to staff this morning so hopefully it gets fixed quickly. With that being said, great gym!! The water temps are my only complaint. Original review: My only issue is the showers. Their water is extremely inconsistent in temp and cool on average. It will spike occasionally then dip back down. I really wish they would fix their heating system.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. It’s. Very clean and they have good services. Customer service is always welcoming. This is my favorite gym I’ve been to, they have tanning, massage chair and massage water beds available and Ofcourse all of the gym functions you could use.

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything you need from a beginner to even the advanced level gym goers! It is clean they make every effort to keep the gym clean which is great especially during this COVID-19 time. Plus it's a good place for folks to gather socially obviously with social distancing but it's good to be around other human beings and everyone working towards a healthy lifestyle. Negative experience: I dont understand why our planet fotness is still using thw covid hours. I pay to be able to go to thw gym at 3 am if i want to. I understand cleaning but they can do that when there arent a lot of people there. Just pay those poor workers a little more to do it.

Negative experience: So here is my issue, i signed up to start using the gym because they have a trainer available. My first appointment was early in the morning, I get there and was told the trainer canceled all appointments because she was sick, i was annoyed that i never got called and found out coming into the gym. I then was told they would put me in at the end of the week and the trainer would call me to confirm a time, never got the call. ended up waiting another week and i called back, the staff swears they called me, yet i had no miss calls. I then ask to make another appointment , which there wasn't any available around my work availability for another week, i make the appointment, came in and was told by the front desk the trainer wants my appointment push out for another 20 or so minutes. i was upset and decided I wanted to cancel my membership and the staff now tells me there was a mix-up and my membership is now registered to another store and now i got to go to that store to cancel.

Positive experience: Place is nice and clean but they don't necessarily follow their own rules. They allow people to bang weight machines, several people only had masks half on, and a few people didn't even clean their machines after use. No one is watching people. But still had a nice workout

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout or just relax, love the no judgement zone, everyone in there just doing their thing and leaving you be. They are friendly though if you need help. Staff is very helpful in you achieving your goals. Best gym I've ever been too.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym employees are always nice and I can workout without stress. Most machines show you what you are working on and the hydro after a workout is heaven.
