Break A Sweat Fitness Center

Positive experience: Nice old school style gym but way too many high schoolers. I’m 30 years old and they all just be giving weird stares. Thinking of going to another gym sometime soon.

Fantastic experience: Great gym better than fit lab fitness. I get a better workout in at the bootcamp classes than i would at fit lab. So definitely recommend the trainers here & everyone is friendlier here & makes you feel welcomed.

Fantastic experience: Good gym for the price, hopefully it grows bigger and better. The male attendees are kinda weird, they don't say hello even if you say hello. The girl attendees are nice and say hello even if you haven't said it first. Other than that pretty solid

Positive experience: The price is great, and they have a good variety of machines. However, they don't have enough dumbbells at the 15 - 30 lbs range. Everyone hogs them; I've seen people have them and be on the phone for 15 minutes. I always finish my workouts late because of that.

Negative experience: Went to gym for a quick workout. The guy behind the counter was rude and not interested in my business..

Negative experience: Went in to register my son. Wero at the counter said there is no paper work I can fill out and bring back! Mind you my child does not live with me! He said I couldn’t register him. He stated as soon as per work is signed pay needs to be done. Again my son does not live with me my son will be back with paper work I sign and payment. He stated no. My son had just attended the gym today and liked it!! I k ow everything is digital nowadays but come on!!! No paper work !!!! Very bad service!!!!

Fantastic experience: Never been here but do y'all have a punching bag ?

Positive experience: Solidly mediocre. And there is nothing wrong with that for the membership price; they've got everything I need and I plan to continue coming. But the ventilation is poor which is costly to fix it and is not as clean as everyone claims e.g. you will often find cans of energy drinks and water bottles laying around, which is unsightly and maybe even dangerous esp. near the squat rack which is where I first noticed them. Also people don't put back the weights where they belong. The business should do more to coax its members to pick up after themselves. This would make it so much better. Often you struggle to find dumbell pairs cause they're scattered all over. This can be fixed easily. Just put a label on the rack. Place big noticeable signs reminding people to clean up after themselves. Just these two things would go a long way into making this a much better place imo

Fantastic experience: I love, love, love this gym! Alma is friendly, polite and very helpful! I joined 2 years ago and I have lost 20 lbs. The clean atmosphere and friendly staff is one of the reason I enjoy this place! All the equipment you need is always available! I highly recommend this place and it very affordable! Thank you Alma, you are so dedicated to your job and a hard worker!

Fantastic experience: When I first came to this gym it was love at first site because the previous gym that I came from closed at 12 and didn’t open until 4, and they told me that they don’t close and that there open from 5am-11pm on the weekdays that was got me in the second was that they have there own shakes and juices at a affordable price the third is the friendliness of you have any questions I highly recommend this place since it’s a warehouse gym it doesn’t take you that long to sweat and a variety of machines to work out on so stop oh by you won’t regret it

Fantastic experience: Been going to break a sweet since way back when it was on the north side of the expressway between walgreens and dollar general, gym is good, employees are nice. I definitely recommend it, nomas pongan una water fountain but great gym!

Fantastic experience: I started going this week for the first time. So far, so good. Not too crowded. It's clean. There are plenty of machines for the amount of people going. They require face masks and have cleaning supplies to clean the machines before and after use. No contract needed. You can pay by the month or with a credit card on file. Lets hope the state doesn't close it down due to COVID19.

Fantastic experience: I have one month of training in this gym after 8 months of not working out due to surgery have lost weight and muscle mass. And just moved back in town from Houston, and so far I’m loving it! the gym doesn’t have the best machines out there, but the fact being on a ware house makes your workout super pumped and energetic and leads you to one bomb good workout I’ve seen a huge progress in my body and I love it. All staff always welcome me with my name which I totally love cause they make me feel like if they knew me for years. The gym is extremely clean always love the smell of fabuloso! The only thing that I would kind of like is if they higher the volume of the music cause I always forget my earphones lol other than that I give this gym a 6 stars rating ! Oh and I made 5 of my friends sign up to break a sweat and they enjoy it. I deserve a free bang for this thank you, next !

Negative experience: After almost 5 years with them I finally canceled my membership. In the last months, have been struggling finishing my routines .. wayyyy too hot, insane.. almost 90 degrees inside the gym..I spoke to management but the situation continues the same. Mostly of the staff are good people, but honestly you can’t work out under those conditions.

Fantastic experience: Would recommend this gym to anyone. The facility is clean and has a wide variety of equipment. The classes offered are great with various times. Trainers along with the owner are very helpful and motivating in your journey. I've been going here for years and wouldnt change it.

Negative experience: I was happy at first with David very nice and motivating.... but... then the owner started he's Very rude, not responsible... late all the time cancel out class just because he wants to. classes start at "8" and trainers come in late.. memenership is $60 and if u want to cancel u do not receive your $60 that is on hold for when u want to cancel...

Negative experience: Good luck when trying to cancel!! Gym is good, customer service needs a ton of work... i canceled my membership in May in person (because i was asked to go in) and i was advised that it had beed canseled but they would charge me one more month as part of the cancelation process. I was charged in June which i was expecting and was not charged in July which i was also expecting... the suprise came when i was charged again for August and September.... called in to see why i was still being charged and i was notified that i had never gone in to cancel in the first place...i was told again that i needed to go in person to cancel... i explained that i had done so 4 months earlier and i was told that it was not in "their" system.... keep in mind that is was the same person at the desk... after a few back and forths i dicided to go back in and cancel the membership a second time... i was reasured that the "system" that they use is fail proof which is obviously a lie... i was shown my profile and it did not have my picture, so i asked why since i had been asked in at least three occasions to take an updated picture... i then added that i thought "their system" was fail proof, to which they could not answer. I asked if there was anyone else that i could talk to to get this resolved and i was told no one.... so apparently the young lady at the counter is the sole owner, manager, and overall seeng person behind the gym... which is not true... its a shame.... i demended a canselation letter, which i should have gotten the first time, but that is on me... dont go there... i have to add that at no point was she disrespectful. .. she was just plain wrong
